Ladies, what do you remember about your first umbrella?
How old were you? What type, color, design?
Recalling a time when they were made to last and didn't cost $2 from a reject shop and cave in after five minutes as soon as the wind got up. My first brolly lasted all through high school and university - at least 10 years.
(BTW if you're far too cool to carry one at all, congratulations but don't feel the need to tell us all about it)

If you aren't in the habit of using one at all, congratulations, that's great, but I really don't care how 'cool' or 'hard core' you think it makes you, so you needn't bother replying.
