  • Klick photo printing- how to transfer the photos?

I have a couple of photos on my phone (sony ericsson c510) which I intend to transfer onto my computer and then have printed at a local Klick store. Do the printing machines require the images as files on a memory stick or on a memory card straight from a camera/phone? I'd order the prints online but I think they would breach the terms and conditions of use for sites like snapfish etc (these are DIY boudoir photos)

Thanks to everyone who can help

  • Estimate the cost of this dress?

    http://www.eternitybridal.co.uk/brides.htm#

I'm keen on the blue dress shown in the third row, left hand column. I'd had the same shape, skirt detailing and button back but a straight neckline and no sparkly bits.

Could anyone give an estimate as to how much this would cost to have custom made by a dressmaker? I'm aware price will vary with dressmaker and material but any estimations would be appreciated so I know what to look for

    Thank you

  • Is this a dress from a supplier/designer?

    Here's a dress I've found on eBay

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/E55-Prom-Ball-Robe-Evening-D...

From the picture, I'm thinking it may be a dress from a designer or stockist and that the item on sale will be a replica. Could anyone tell me the orginal maker of this dress?

    Thanks

  • Has anyone used fairygothmother.co.uk?

I'd appreciate some reviews on this company. What was the quality of the items like? How flexible were they? Was it worth the money? etc

All reviews, good or bad, very welcome

    Thank you

  • Has anyone used Nexteve.com? Reviews please?

I'd really appreciate some feedback, positive or negative on nexteve.com prom dresses. I'm a UK buyer so any info/feedback on international shipping from them will also be useful. Were the dresses good quality and as pictured? Were the colours a good match to the web pictures?

Most importantly would you recommend them?

    Thank you

  • Grey or royal blue? dress design help?

I'm looking for opinions as to what colour combination would look best for a "prom" type dress. I'm creating (with help from a seamstress) a two piece dress in a simple A-line style. I have decided on a white corset style top and a coloured taffeta skirt.

My question to those in the know is, which of these colour combinations would look better?

White corset and grey skirt or white corset and royal to navy blue skirt

I'm of very fair colouring (think english rose), with ginger to auburn hair, 5'5" and a UK size 10. I hope these details will help.

I'd appreciate any comments on the combinations, pros and cons etc.

    Thanks for your help

  • Royal blue or grey for a wedding dress skirt?

I originally wanted a wedding dress that had a royal blue skirt and a white top. However, seeing Sophia Tolli's Bailey dress, I think I also want a grey skirt. My question is, which do you believe looks better; royal blue and white or grey and white?

Example links (the blue and white is not the exact design I would go for but I thought it would be useful. It's just the colours I am asking about)

  • Have you seen a royal blue and white wedding dress?

I'm looking for a royal blue corset and white tulle skirts, or even the reverse, white corset and royal blue tulle skirts. No matter how hard I try I cant find a picture of this on the web.

Does anyone know of a link to a wedding/prom dress that looks like this?

    Many thanks

  • How do I complain about an online store?

    Here's the story

    March 9th ordered an item

March 16th enquired about the item, the order was still pending as they were waiting for the item to come into their stocks

March 31st I enquired again and again order is still pending

April 13th (easter monday) I cancelled order at 3.20pm

April 15th they tell me I cant cancel as it has already been shipped.

No courier company or post office was open on easter monday to my knowledge so my item could not have been shipped monday. Earliest it could have been shipped was Good Friday or before but it would have arrived by now. This leads me to believe that the item was shipped on tuesday (i.e. yesterday) AFTER I had emailed to cancel the order.

Now I'm liable for the return cost of shipping if I want to return the item.

Who do I complain to about this practice?

  • Evra patch is wrinkled around edges. Is this ok?

This happened with both the placebo patches i trialled and now the actual patch. The edges are wrinkled like waves but dont appear to have lifted off the skin.

Is this going to affect the reliability of the patch or is it nothing to worry about? Am I safe so long as the patch is stuck to the skin?

    Many thanks

  • How many current turns are needed for a flux of 10^-2 Wb?

    Flux density = 1T

    Permeance = 1.25 x 10^-5 Wb A^-1

    Permeability = 10^-3 Wb A^-1 m^-1

Length of magnetic circuit = 0.8m

    Transformer dimensions L=300mm, W=300mm, D=100mm with a 100 x 100 mm cut out core

I have tried and tried to find out the current turns needed to produce a flux of 10^-2 Wb but my calculations rely on the equation flux = permeance x number of turns x current. When I rearrange to find current turns (I'm assuming this is the product NI) I get an answer of 800. The question asks me to show that ten current turns are needed.

Can anyone direct me as to where I'm going wrong?

Additional detail: This is according to OCR B Advancing Physics syllabus

    Thanks

  • Is the contraceptive patch available from Rotherham Primary Care Trust?

I'm going to attend the central clinic in Rotherham re contraception. For various reasons I've narrowed my chioces down to either Mirena IUS or the contraceptive patch. I think I might get the patch to start with and see if that suits but is it even available in Rotherham?

    Cheers

  • How painful is IUS insertion?

I'd like some honest accounts of the pain involved, particularly from those who havent had children. Does it feel similar to having cervical swabs taken?

Thank you, I apologise if this is a very personal question

  • Appropriate gift for a female physics teacher?

My physics class has already decided on a gift for our male teacher (he's a complete geek so it was easy) but we're struggling with our less geeky female teacher.

She's quite tame, married with two kids and she's a very intelligent lady who doesn't embody the stereotype of a physics teacher.

We think something classic would be best, but what? Has anyone ever given a gift in this situation? What would you suggest?

    Thank you

  • Can anyone estimate a dressmakers charge for making this dress?

    http://www.freudianslipsvintage.com/dres...

This is a dress I've been pining for for ages now. I've investigated avenues such as finding a similar one cheaply online and making one myself (or at least the skirt).

I'm now thinking that taking this set of pictures to a dressmaker would be best, although this is not an imminent thing, just something I'd like to do.

I'm aware that I will probably have to buy the necessary fabric myself, but can anyone give a vague idea as to how much I would be paying a dressmaker on top of that? Any hidden charges I should know about?

    Thank you

  • How to make a floor length princessy tulle skirt?

I'm wanting to make a floor length tulle skirt that is more of an A-line shape than a full ballgown skirt. I dont want it too gathered around the waistband to the point where it looks like it's horizontal at the waist. I'm intending to make it by hand sewing.

Would I be best making a suitable underskirt and adding layers of tulle on top? If i do this, how do I avoid a sort of seam/overlap where the two ends of the tulle meet at the back?

    Thanks

  • Working out the number of water molecules associated with a complex ion?

    http://www.creative-chemistry.org.uk/alevel/module...

this is the sheet we're working on. I used 10.63g of iron II salt and got a concurrent titre of 26.9ml. The concentration of KMnO4 was 0.02 molar (if our techs have mixed it and labelled it correctly) However when I work through the calculations I get an answer of 0.16 moles of water in the hydrous complex ion, when I know I should be getting six. Can anyone point out any flaws to this and why my answer is so wrong?

Thanks for your time, I appreciate this isn't the nicest question to answer

  • Does anyone know of a product similar to Oxy Blackout?

Oxy Blackout was a blackhead removal set where you applied a liquid to the area and once it was dry, strips were used to peel off the liquid and remove blackheads.

The product was discontinued a while ago but I haven't been able to find any strips that remove blackheads as effectively. All the strips which require you to splash the area with water and apply do not seem to adhere well enough. Does anyone know of something similar to Oxy Blackout that could be worth a try?

    Thanks
