This question has been asked numerous times on the net by many people, yet I still want to ask this question. Does love really exist for everyone? Is there really another half waiting to appear at the right time?

I'm a impatient person, yet everyone says tells me that I have to wait for the right person to appear at the right time. I'm surrounded by friends that are all married and have kids. But I'm the only single person. I have dated a few times, but never an official relationship and it always ends unexpectedly. My friends tells me to go out more and meet more people, so I join social events but I'm getting very tired of these events and meeting strangers over and over again. Why does love come so easily for some and so hard for me? I'm sad and lonely most of the time thinking about this. To the point sometimes that I have silent tears, I try to concentrate on something but it's very hard when your surrounded by it. Everywhere I look, your constantly reminded of couples. When I try to go on a holiday, accommodation are all in 2s and they charge extra for single share. Tour trips have to book in 2, unless I go backpacking! Watching movies by yourself seems like a big no no. I try to go with friends and they all go with their husbands.

So I want to know are there people out there that have waited and love comes knocking on the door? At least these stories would give me some fate and can I continue on my waiting journey with some belief and trust that it will come as long as I'm patient.

I'm scheduled for LASIK surgery next wk. After doing a lot of research and talking to friends. Most have recommended this procedure. However, looking at this website lasikcomplications.com, it has really freaked me out. I expected my eyes to be dry and get the halo + light sensitivity, but this website has really scared me. I'm considered a good candidate and my eye sight is -4.5 for both eyes with slight astigmatism. I understand that ultimatley this is my decision to make. But would like to hear some stories from the people that have had LASIK surgery in the past 2 years. Whether you recommend it and what sort of complications you had. For example over dilated pupils pre-op etc.....

Just wondering how many people out there that do believe in fate. Fate like meeting the soul mate to spend the rest of your life with. Does fate really exist? Or does it only exist in some?

I've always believed in fate and destiny but none of my relationships have worked out and I'm still waiting. So does fate really exist out there?

Ok, I'm pretty creeped out after playing this new EA iphone app game called 'cause of death' in which it's a storyline of a serial killer and you kills it's victims by stabing them with a drug and suffocates them we the mask.

The game is quite fun and you assume the role of not just the dectectives, but you play as the victims as well. Which is the creepy part i guess. What's worst is thinking that finishing the game would catch the killer but it doesn't. There are a whole string of these serial killers that just teaches each other. Like there a master before the serial killers teaching them how to kill etc.

So the question is how many of you guys that have played the game and is getting the creeps like i am? Paranoid and checking every corner when you walk now??

I'm currently in a government role that is comfortable and flexible. The paid is 68k at goes up each year by 2k. I'm still studying a master's degree.

I have been offered another role with a big world known company. The paid for this is 80k and involves a lot of traveling, both interstate and international. They require me to use my own car and is giving me 14k to cover the milage and insurance spent, on top of this they will give me unlimited fuel.

Changing over would mean that I would not be able to have a life and no time to continue my master's degree anymore. I would have to give up studying. But in return I gain experience. Should i change over to this job?

I am from a health background and would like to enter the field to become a business analyst. I'm currently studing master of health informatics but considering to transfer to a master of IT. I'm wondering if this would be more benefical for me in the future?

Im currently studying master of health informatics and would like to transfer to a grad diploma of health informatics at another uni instead. The differ between the 2 uni is one it offers online study and the other requires you to go to uni. The grad dip would take another 1 year part-time to finish (approx) while the master would definitely take 2.5 years part-time. Uni of tas gives me the option to continue onto a master if I so wish to, while the other uni masters is the only option.

I wanted to orginally discontinue but if i did that i would waste my subjects that i have already studied in my masters. If i transfer at least i will have some of my credit point transferred. My question is if it is worth transferring from my master to a grad dip?

My friend and I have gone out 3 times in the past 1.5 months, just the 2 of us. We went to the movies, dinner, and just really hung out. We would message each other, then if I don't include a question in the SMS he wouldn't reply back + I would get annoyed and upset. Both these 3 times going out I've always taken the initiative and asked him. So obviously my conclusion was he doesn't like me that way. But then why go out with me? Is he shy or am I thinking too much when really all we did is 2 friends going out and having fun.

I'm currently studying master of health informatics. Im a part time student and this is a 4 year course. I have completed 1.5 years of this degree with another 2.5 years left. I'm currently employed in a job that doesn't require this degree. I originally wanted to study this because there was a job that I had wanted. I applied for the job recently and was unsuccessful. This degree is not very popular and only has a very small amount of students in the class. With mainly o/s student focused that require jobs after graduation.

I don't believe that my career would be focused in this area anymore. ? I would waste my 1.5 years of study and the money spent towards the 6 subjects I have done. Otherwise continue to study and continue wasting my time and money. However, coming out of it with a master degree. This uni doesn't offer grad certificate or diploma from the subjects that I have studied so far. Its either completely finish of not.

My question is if I should discontinue and dropout of studying this degree altogether?? Please help! I'm very stressed and the census date is coming up very soon.

I have a group of 4 friends and we have been good friends for at least 10 years now. One of them is getting married and she asked my other 2 friends to be bridesmaid.

Would you be offended by this? there is not many in our group is it that much extra to include me as a bridemaid as well, or maybe i'm not a good friend to her like i think i am. and they kept it a secret from me until 5 weeks before her wedding. i asked her before if she was going to have any bridemaid and she said no. now my other friend told me that it's been organised a couple of months ago already. i'm really upset by all this.

she still wants me to go to her wedding and all that from the beginning of the morning to the end at night of the reception. should i just go for the wedding and cermony instead?

I'm currently enrolled for a postgraduate degree at sydney uni. But i'm a local full fee paying student. There are not many students in my course, altogether there is probably 10 students. Out of the 10, 2 of these students have got a commonwealth supported place.

The question is how do i apply for one? I've asked the student center they say that it's automatic based on your academic merits. But it cannot be given to u once you have started the course and no matter how well you do in the course. So the academic merits are based on your studies previous to the postgraduate course. One of my classmates that got it only went to TAFE previously.

If there is anyone that can tell me how this works and if there is anyway for me to apply for one now that i've started the course already. Since this all sounds very unfair to me!

I went out with this guy twice now. the first date was just dinner. Our second date was from lunch till dinner. All in 1 wk after knowing him. Maybe it was too fast. After our 2nd date I thought we went ok but i received no call and no sms at all from him. I emailed him about 2 wks later and no reply.

It's been nearly 3 wks now and i haven't stopped thinking about him. I don't want to like him. I can think of all the negative stuff why i don't want to be with him. He's not my type of guy.

Do i just want a boyfriend is that why i can't stop thinking about our dates. Could he not have received my email, should i just sms him? Or maybe leave it...since i don't want to like him anyway, i will forget about him in time and it wouldn't matter if he contacted me or not.

I brought 2 catfishes yesterday and put them in a clean tank with 3 goldfishes. In the middle of the night 2 of my goldfishes literally jumped out of the tank and i found them on the floor this morning. I managed to save 1 of them but the other was dead. Now my tank has 2 catfishes and 1 gold fish, the water is getting very cloudy. Is this because of the catfish, do they change the water. Is it safe to leave my goldfish in the cloudy water? thanks for the comments.

I have AVG antispyware 7.0. I have uninstalled it from the control panel, searched it up on c drive to delete it from the driver. searched grisoft to see if it still appears. Now I'm trying to install McAfee and it won't let me. It keeps telling me that I still have AVG 7.5.518 on my system.

I have tried all sorts of method that i can. I've googled and used all the methods there too. I tried searching it up on the computer- can't find it anywhere. I've tried AVG removal tool. Tried to force uninstall it, but can't find the find to uninstall it. I've even tried to install a more updated version of AVG but even AVG told me to get rid of the AVG antispyware that I have before I can install AVG again to uninstall it.

Please help me! I'm out of options.

I have a file which is 5.55GB, i want to burn it onto a dvd. But i only have 4.7GB dvd's. Is there anyway to burn this file into 2x dvds?

But i still have to load it has 1 file even when it is burnt onto x2 dvd's. Just like all the other pc games that you buy with 3 or 4 discs. But they ask for the disc number during installations.

People tend to have 200+ friends on facebook. Are these really all your friends or just people that you meant once and you add it onto facebook?

I brought a small kettle bbq (think that's what it's called), but I have problems lighting the charcoal briguettes. I tried using fire lighters, but the coal still won't light up? Is there a easy way to light it up? How do you position the coal and where? I read on on the internet that for a small bbq, you can place the coal at one end and the food at the other, is that correct?

I have brought a new 500 GB hard drive recently...I haven't used any space from the hard drive, but when i try to move a 4.9 GB file across to hard drive. It won't let me. It says that there is not enough space for it to be moved across. Is there anyway to fix this?

Would you travel with your laptop? Not for business but for leisure.
