If it's a little girl, I'd love to use the feminine 'Charlotte'. But I can't figure out what names go well with Charlotte. Any suggestions using Charlotte as a first or middle name? Thanks!

I have a charcoal drawing that I need to ship across the country. How can I ship it without smudging it?

The reflection off a glossy bezel gives me terrible headaches. I'm trying to find a good size LCD TV without the troublesome high gloss bezel. And I keep coming up empty. Any suggestions? Or, alternatively, is there a good way to modify a glossy bezel to make it matte? Thanks!

My wedding is on Saturday. All of our guests are staying in the same hotel. We've reserved a parlor to use to allow everyone to hang out and socialize when we have free time. Everyone gets into town on Friday night.

Besides providing alcohol (and other beverages) and some board games, what do you suggest I provide? I'm thinking some sort of finger food / snack food, but I don't know exactly what and I don't know if there's something else important I should have on hand.

We have less than 20 guests, so we're a small group.

And nobody is bringing their children, so it's all adults of legal drinking age. ;-)

My program is folded in half and all the details are printed on the inside.

On the right-hand side is an outline what will be happening during the service. Below that is a thank you to our guests.

On the left-hand side I listed everyone who takes part in the ceremony. I have titles above each section such as "Our Parents" and "Our Wedding Party" but I also listed our pastor, organist and wedding coordinator. Trouble is, they fall below the wedding party, but I don't have a title for that section or some other sort of header to make that part distinct from the wedding party. It needs something but I can't figure out what it is. Got any suggestions for another header or perhaps some other solution?

So technically my legal name won't have changed since my reception will be right after the wedding. But as soon as I can, I'll be changing it to Mrs. GroomsLastName. But for the reception, what do I use on my own placecard?

I feel so silly asking, but I'd rather not try to buy every clear deodorant out there just to find one that would be good for my wedding day. Any recommendations?

Anyway....I'm looking for a way to personalize them with a tag or something (to explain the tradition of the bitter and sweet and giving an odd number because it's indivisible), but I wouldn't have any idea how to attach something to these without it looking horrid. Any suggestions?

I've decided to live dangerously and try anchovies tonight. I'm thinking of having them with something else, since I'm a little intimidated by it. My usual pizza is pepperoni and extra cheese, but occasionally I'll go with pepperoni, italian sausage, garlic and extra cheese.

So I thought I was all set. I'd found a bouquet I loved, met with the florist and made my deposit. But the folks that provide their roses don't get the one rose I wanted (leonidas). Today I saw an 'alternative' but it's pinkish, and I'm very anti-pink when it comes to my flowers. So now I'm on the hunt for another bouquet option or another choice of rose.

I'm getting married in 5 weeks. And I need to know what I want for flowers by Sunday afternoon so they can order them. My colors are inspired by fall, but muted, not bright and flashy. I've scoured theknot.com and had no luck. I'd really appreciate your suggestions.

My wedding is October 11. I'm trying to figure out when I should ask for replies by. Is there a usual timeframe for that?

They're hosting a shower for us next weekend and I want to give them something. They do like wine, but I wouldn't know what to get them. They also enjoy a good meal and traveling. Oh - and my fiance is no help at all - asking him hasn't helped so far. :-P

Suggest away - 2 babies are on the way but we don't know yet if they're boys, girls or one of each. Looking for names that aren't especially trendy, and their daddy is partial to especially masculine boys names. Think football players. I suggested Bubba but they shot me down. ;-)

They're not interested in matchy names like Taylor and Tyler.

Daddy likes Zoey for a girl.

Mommy likes Carrington for a girl.

So middle names for them would be good.

But they have no ideas on boys names.

Except that Mommy likes the sound of <firstname> Harrison Henry.
