Question about insomnia?
I've tried numerous over-the-counter sleep aids but nothing works for me. In fact, all of them made me edgy instead of drowsy. Would someone be able to tell me why?

3 AnswersConservation7 years agoquestion about fresh water pool startup?
I just drained and refilled my pool, a 23,500 gallon size. The pool supply clerk told me to put in all kinds of chemicals, one of them: 3 pounds of Chlor Brite. Why do I need to shock the pool when the water is brand new?
1 AnswerMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoAbout swimming pool...?
We just drained the pool and refilled it with new water. Other than chlorine tablets, anything else we should put in the pool? I'm leery of going to a pool supply store because they always try to push you to buy all kinds of chemicals.
We have a pebble tec in-ground pool with System 3 Filtration, it has pop-up vacuum heads all over the bottom of the pool, so, the pool water is always crystal clear.
6 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoA question about changing pool water?
I went to a pool supply store to have our pool water tested, the clerk said we should change the pool water. He said to go rent a pump from HomeDepot to drain the pool. My question is why can't I just turn the pool pump on and drain the water that way? I have a pebble tec pool with a System 3 Filtration pump.
Thank you in advance for your help.
2 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs7 years agoI got a question about shower heads?
Our shower head (made by Moen) seemed to be a little clogged so I asked my hubby to take it down for a good soaking in vinegar. Unfortunately to my dismay, he went ahead and replaced the Moen with an over-the-counter brand.
I took a shower this morning for the first time under this new shower head, and no matter how I tried to pick and choose the settings, the water flow was simply much weaker than our old shower head.
Before I ask my hubby to switch back, I would like to make sure that it's not my imagination but an inferior shower head will indeed not give me the same strong water flow.
Thank you in advance for your expertise.
4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)7 years agoAbout 6 months ago, the screen of my desktop ( a Dell Inspiron One) started to periodically turn red, blue?
and green. Not ready to take it for repairs, I turned it off and put it in a closet. About a week ago, I decided it was time to have it fixed, so, I took it out of the closet and started to use it again, and to my surprise, the flashing thing hasn't shown up at all.
My question to you is: how come? What would've caused this PC to cure itself? Unless, the flashing thing is just bidding its time to show up again?
3 AnswersDesktops7 years agoThe Google on my Mac automatically provides suggestions in a drop-down window, I just noticed that the Google?

1 AnswerGoogle8 years agoI just picked up my dog, a Boston Terrier, from a kennel which we've trusted and used for years.?
But she came home looking different this time, there is a pink spot on top of her nose, her muzzle has also turned completely pink and there is also a pink spot right beneath her mouth. All those areas normally should be black.
When I touched those pink spots, she didn't act like she was in pain. Does anyone know what could have caused this?
2 AnswersDogs8 years agoIs it necessary to change the water in the pool every two years?
I told the pool guy that even though the water in the pool is two years old, the water itself is literally only a few months old due to the fact that during the hot summer a lot of water evaporated and automatically got replaced by refills. But, still he insisted that I should completely drain the pool and refill it with brand new water. Is this really necessary? and what's the reason for it?
1 AnswerOther - Home & Garden8 years agoI asked this question once before, but didn't get a satisfying answer, so, I would like to ask again?
The question is about my master bathroom's water pipes. I have a bathtub in the corner with a vanity on each side of the tub. what I can't figure out is why you can get hot water instantly from my hubby's side while mine takes what feels like a minute to get the hot water running. The last time I asked this question, everyone who answered said it was because my side being further away from the heat source.
Well, this bathroom is on the second floor in the opposite corner from the garage which is where the water heater is located, so needless to say, the heat source is quite a distance from the bathroom. Would someone be able to explain why his side can get instant hot water while my side can't ?
By the way, for the good folks who think I should just switch the vanity with my hubby, it's not possible because his side is made much higher to accommodate his height, plus, my side got a makeup table. :')
9 AnswersMaintenance & Repairs8 years agoI need help to understand how the water pipes are connected in a bathroom?
First, let me illustrate the layout of my master bathroom which is on the second floor. The bathtub is in the corner of the room with a vanity on each side of the tub forming a L-shape. Here is what I can't figure out; on my side, it always takes like a minute to get the hot water going while on my hubby's side it takes less than a few seconds. Would someone please explain the reason for this?
4 AnswersDo It Yourself (DIY)8 years agoA question about Gmail. My husband accidentally used my account to watch a baseball game on MLB, the problem?
Ever since then they bombard me with emails every single day. Right now I let those emails go straight to trash, but it's really annoying to see tons of them sitting in the trash. Is there a way to stop them from contacting me? Or, at least to be able to block them so that I don't see them at all? Thanks in advance for your help.
2 AnswersGoogle9 years agoI would like to know whether I'm overreacting or do you think this is creepy too?
Here is the scenario: an adult daughter who lives with her parents, she doesn't have a job and doesn't lift a finger around the house. Her mother works full time while her father is retired. Here is what I find creepy: every morning the father asks the daughter what she wants for breakfast and sometimes he serves her in bed.
I think this is abnormal and downright creepy. Am I overreacting or do you find it creepy too?
11 AnswersFriends9 years agoMy dog, a 9 year old Boston Terrier, has become extremely fearful of thundering and lightning this year.?
Any suggestions of what to do other than tranquilizing her? She's normally a very cuddly dog but whenever the weather turns nasty she doesn't want to have anything to do with us, she hides under the bed shivering like a leaf, so pitiful.
