What is the world but a lumbering sphere,

Since essentially every one of your sacred text outlines a final goal of dying and returning to your maker, is it fair to say that the ultimate goals of these religions is to escape into death from the world that your flaws have created for you?

And the girl who I watched it with immediately started asking questions as soon as the end credits came rolling, one of which was, "why is it called 'I Am Legend'?" Immediately I realized that with that stupid ending, went all the meaning behind the title, (which I won't spoil just in case).

My question is, why take away the meaning of the title? it seems so poorly done.

It has been a while since I did some research on a religion, and I figure I'd like to get some information on the Jehovah's Witnesses. if any of you would like to give me a link, an explanation, or any means to read up on your faith, it would be greatly appreciated.
