  • make your own flavored cigars?

I read on a cigar site yesterday that one can make their own flavored cigars at home. It suggests putting mild cigars in a tupperware-type container along with a shot glass of your favorite flavored liquor. Keep this in a cool/dark space such as a closet for a couple of weeks until the liquid evaporates from the glass. Has anyone here tried this or other methods and can comment on how well this may or may not work?

  • Pagan Leaders in Government?

Browsing the internet, it has become apparent to me that there are far more pagans and atheists in the United States than I would have otherwise believed. I believed our community was much smaller than it may actually be. Politicians have always played to the Christian ideals (being careful not to be too specific as to denominational differences, etc) in order to attract what is perceived as the voting majority. They are video taped attending worship services for the news, make it a point to use phrases such as "God Bless" and "pray." This morning, I am wondering actually how far out of balance would an average election be today if an openly pagan or atheist candidate ran for a large office. Would we have anywhere close to the numbers to support a win or near-win election for one more in step with our belief system? Also, staunch Christian believers aside, would other otherwise unaffiliated people rally and vote against such a candidate and elect the opposition, no matter who it may be, strictly because they completely misunderstand our religion/belief (or lack there-of) and fear it as something evil?

  • The Deaf and dreams...?

A question for the deaf: I'm assuming that a deaf person dreams in silence and interacts with others in a dream by sign language. The thought that I am curious about is if a person had hearing for part of their life and became deaf, would they be able to "hear" at all in any of their dreams? Could they dream in sound, so to speak?

  • What was that old TV show ?!?

When I was young, there was a tv show about a club of kid detectives. Their "office" was a backyard club house and I seem to remember the leader was a boy with glasses and a boat captain's hat. The only episode I remember well is one where they tracked a bad guy to a closed amusement park. I believe it came on Sunday mornings. This would have been around late 70's or 80's. (This is not the Bloodhound Gang.) Can anyone remember the name of this show?
