Currently, I am 14 and 5'8 and 177 pounds. My goal is to be skinny by the time the brand new school year starts in August. Over the last couple months, I have lost 20 pounds with just changing my diet. If I eat really well (it's really become a habit now. I'd rather have any apple that a cheeseburger any time.. I eat about 1500 calories a day. Mostly non-sugar and lowfat.) how much weight could I lose in 8 months? right now, I jog/walk for about 2 miles every night.

I'm in eighth grade.

His calloused hands,

Wrapped around her like a cocoon,

Not prepared to let go,

And she is safe.

Shiny eyes,

Full of hope,

And life,

And memories.

They convey underlying messages,

Heard only by the two of them.

Knotted hair,

Grass stains,

Unmatching socks.

These things just don’t seem to matter

Because they are together.

Their hearts beat as one

As other shadows dance around them,

But they remain.

The bond between a man and his granddaughter

Is stronger than you would think.

Hand-in-hand,

Their fire burns.

She is clueless.

And the funny thing is?

Soon,

He would disappear too

And the chain that connects them

I'm overweight and I'm trying to lose it, but I always feel embarrassed and like people are watching me when I go outside to jog.

Please help... right now all I wear are jeans, tshirts and black Vans. Next year, I want to be more thoughtful of what i'm wearing.
