4 AnswersHomework Help10 years agoWould someone explain to me why Ramzan Kadyrov and Shamil Basayev...?
Why are Ramzan Kadyrov and Shamil Basayev (deceased 2006) so fascinated by Che Guevara? Kadyrov has a picture of Guevara hanging on his wall and Shamil Basayev was obsessed with him (according to a former employer in Moscow)? Any theories? Please share. Thank you. This is for a research paper.

2 AnswersPersonal Finance1 decade agoWill a DSL wireless gateway purchased in US work in Cyprus?
I have a friend from Cyprus who is interested in strengthening her wireless signal inside her home. The potential solutions would be to buy a repeater, buy a new wireless gateway (DSL modem & WiFi router in one), or buy a long-range USB adapter antenna.
Europe has 2.4 Ghz as well as DSL through the phone company, but would a wireless gateway work alright in Cyprus?
2 AnswersComputer Networking1 decade agoHow do I write a research paper on an unprovable event?
I'm writing an eight page research paper on the life of Joseph Smith, Jr., founder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. So many of the events which took place are based on hearsay and events, divinations, revelations which "allegedly" took place. How do I incorporate this into my paper? Should I write it from the perspective that it actually happened -- "Nearly two centuries have passed since Joseph Smith Jr. unearthed the golden plates from the Hill Cumorah in western New York." or "Nearly two centuries have passed since Joseph Smith, Jr. purportedly unearthed the golden plates from the Hill Cumorah in western New York." If the latter method is correct, do I need to continue to use appropriate adjectives: "alleged", "purported", "supposed", "contend", "doubtful", "dubious", etc. What do you think? Please let me know!

4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoWifi security password versus inputting MAC addresses directly in router?
My question is as follows: On my Linksys Cisco Dual-Band Wireless N router I am offered many options when access the router directly through it's IP address (192.168.0.1). It gives me the option to enable a variety of security types; e.g. WEP, WPA2 PERSONAL, WPA2 AES, etc. Instead of placing a password to gain access to the wifi, why could I just enter the five MAC addresses of the machines using the wifi and those which are hard wired directly into the router? I could permit only these five MAC addresses to have access to the internet. Am I missing something here or is a security password just the typical route to take?
