I'm almost in my third year of flute, and I really don't want to sound arrogant or anything, I really don't, but in our weekly tests I've held first chair almost all through this time. But recently I'm starting to mess up. I'm getting the notes right, but out of nowhere I've started having a kinda embarrassing problem. I've noticed when I either play high or fast notes, I've actually started spitting. You can hear it so now when we play in class I fake it most of the time. My grade is slipping as well because I'm not scoring so high on the tests. I really want to fix this, but I'm kinda afraid to ask my band teacher because I get embarrassed easily (if you couldn't tell) and really kinda get panicky when talking to my teachers. Any flute players have this problem? I don't have braces, and it's only started in the past month or so. Any help with be appreciated.

About three years ago, my mom got a three year old bloodhound from someone at her work. He was extremely thin, they'd only been giving him one cup of food a day. Well one thing they forgot to mention was the fact that the womans husband hit him. And I'm assuming frequently. He also got hit by a car and they never took him to a vet. He slept outside and had no proper training. We got him, and he had hookworms. We got him treatment, and he's getting to be a little chubby, and he plays with my younger sister and lays on my bed at night. But he's aggresive toward my grandfather, who lives with us. Here's the weird thing though. My grandfather can pet him, and if he's sitting by the porch, Copper (the bloodhound. I know original right?) will lay by him. But if he ever tries to walk out of the house, or if he tries to wipe the slobber off his jowls, he growls, and has even snapped at my grandfather. I love him to death, and it would kill me to do it, but If we can't get this resolved soon, we'll have to find him a new home. I would rather him go have a family where he won't be aggresive, than him bite somebody and end up put down. My grandfather can feed him treats out of his hand, pet him, talk to him, but if he walks out the door or wipes his jowls, all bets are off. And it's never when he's coming in the door either. Its only going out. Do you have any idea why this is happening? I know it's because of abuse. And I know it will take awhile.. but.. do you have any ideas to help him calm down around my grandfather? And he doesn't do it with any of my guy friends.. it only seems to be with my grandfather. And he's never raised his voice to him, hit him, or in any way threatened him that we've noticed..

I need to mow my grass.. i've let it get to high, but I don't know what time I should start. I live in florida so I REALLY wanna get it done before it gets too hot, but at the same time I don't want to disturb my neighbors... is 7:00-7:30ish a good time to start? Thanks

I've had this torrent file on my computer for awhile now and am just getting around to opening it. I have Vuze, and went to open it with Vuze, went to the download tab, and found the file. It says that in the file is 37 files, and its 26.88 MB. It also says the ETA is ∞ Its been almost thirty minutes, none of it has downloaded, and I don't know what im doing wrong. Im brand new to torrents, so talk to me like you would a five year old. Thanks in advance

Okay..my mom got a great-dane/lab mix about 4 years ago now, and for awhile she was good and nice to me, she followed me around, she slept in my room, and was obedient, but my grandma got hurt and came to live with us, and then suddenly it was like I didn't exist anymore! My dog started following her everywhere, sleeping in her room, laying at her feet, and the only time she ever paid me any mind was when I had food, and it wasn't even like she cared, she just sat there and begged, then as soon as the food was gone, or after I had put her in the backyard, It was like i wasn't there again. Then about three months ago, we got a bloodhound, a male. Given, his old owners starved him, they only gave him one cup of food a day, he got hit by a car, and they hit him pretty good.. but the only one who hit him was her husband.. i would think he would be more afraid of men and more trusting with women, and that's sorta the case. He likes my sister, my 9 year old sister. She pulls his ears and makes him yelp sometimes, but he still only will play with her and my other dog. The only time either of my dogs seems to know I exist is when I have food, and then I have to put them outside, they aren't supposed to beg, and I don't know what I've done wrong? I take them out for two walks a day, I'm the one that refills food and water (my bloodhounds water several times a day), I'm the one that takes care of them, I brush and groom them, everything! But it's like they don't know that I exist.. what am I doing wrong? I love my dogs by they seem to hate me..they're affectionate and loving to everyone- except me. They even are playful to strangers, but if I throw the toy that they love, they just walk around like I'm not there.. what have I done wrong?

When I was like 8... I remember starting to read this book.. it was in 2nd person and it was really cool. It was like you got trapped in the future, and something would happen in each chapter, and at the end of the chaper it said something like "If you choose to work with the rebels, turn to page 94" or something... i've been looking for this book for FOREVER!! Does anyone know what it is?

I saw this picture, and I want to find another one of a cat that looks similar to that, color and markings.. I looked up bicolor and stuff, but all I get is tuxedo cats.. anybody recognize the breed or any tips to how I should go about finding another?

I uploaded a video to Youtube and set up the tags and stuff. Its been about 5 hours now. If you go to my Channel, you can see it, but even if I type in all the tags, it just wont come up!! I know it can take awhile, but its never taken 5 hours to do so before. I even searched my username, and it didn't come up. What am I doing wrong?

I have a Windows Vista computer we got in 2008 I belive, and it still works wonderfully. I've had hardly any problems with it. Other than GIMP, Paint.NET, and one of my little sisters games, theres almost nothing downloaded on our computer, other than the anti-virus software. All of the sudden, I keep getting these pop up messages saying that theres not enough room on my C: Drive. I ran the cleanup, and it took almost nothing away. Weird thing is, I don't have any viruses, I haven't downloaded anything in a long time or anything. So I put a few things on my D: Drive until I figure this out. I went to Desktop\Christiana to maybe take out some pictures, see if that would help, and theres a whole bunch of files I've never seen before.

What is this stuff? If I delete it will I screw up my computer? And can you give me any ideas as to why my C: Drive spazzed out on me?

I have these two friends, Lori and Morgan. Lori has been my friend four about four years now, while I only met Morgan this year. But now whenever Morgan isn't around, Lori talks about her, calling her a bossy brat and other things like that, and whenever Lori isn't around, Morgan talks about Lori being braggy and stupid. But they talk about each other to me! It gets to the point where Im physically sick. Whenever Im around them and stuff, I get headaches and I get nauseated. Then they like start screaming at each other to the point where I just can't take it anymore. Then things will get like magically better and they'll be nice, but recently, I was really, really, really sick. I was gone from school for five days, and when I came back I had to keep dramamine in my pocket at all times. But I walk into class, and Morgan corners me, saying how if she has to be Lori's friend if she wants to be mine, then she wont be my friend anymore. So for the past few days I've been ignoring them... but now they've had another miraculous friendship recovery, and I can see that they seem to be doing it for my sake, but I don't know if i should subject myself to that again. Because I don't know how much longer I can take it.

So what should I do about it? I mean I've tried talking to them about it, but they never change.

I have this project in Geography, and we have to make a superhero based on an asian country. I was assigned Singapore, and I have to give this guy a background story.. but everythign I try.. just doesnt seem good enough. Please help.. I can't afford to bomb this project.

At school there's this guy I have three classes with. He sits next to me in one of them. A lot of the time he can hit me with his pencils, it can be a bit annoying, but it often turns into a game, we both end up with small little bruises on our arms and we do get in trouble A lot. Also sometimes he walks me to our next class, and we laugh and talk. He'll sit on the corner of my desk until the bell rings, and we'll just talk. I've also noticed, after lunch when he throws a football around his friends after lunch, A lot of the time he'll pause and look at me. I kinda like him, but I don't want to ask him out or anything unless I know he likes me, cause that would just be a bit embarrassing, and I don't really want to risk losing our friendship. What do you think?

I raised my pistol, smiling maliciously at my target, who stood against the wall, staring at me, eyes wide and confused.

"Jarod?" he asked, his usually sarcastic, joking voice was stressed and slightly tense, "C'mon man.. put the gun down" He stepped toward me, hand out for the gun. My finger moved to the trigger.

"Back up Daniel." I snarled, positioning my self to corner him, he tried sidestepping, I repositioned.

"Jared..you won't really shoot me will you?" he asked, sidestepping again, trying to get out of the position I had put him in.

"Ive had just about all I'm going to take of you Danny. This is the last time you will ever **** me off." I fired, right next to his feet, and upon hearing him yelp and seeing him jump, I did it again, laughing cruelly.

"What the hell Jarod!" he yelled, pressing himself against the wall tightly. I watched him, starting to get bored.

"Run Daniel." I demanded icily.

"What? Jay, what's going on here?!?" he pressed his back farther into the corner, trying to edge away from me. I wouldn't let him.

"I enjoy a moving target" I explained simply, as if it was obvious. I trained my gun on him.

He ran. I fired. BAM. Daniel fell, his hands flew to his leg, which was already soaked in blood. I was disappointed. I expected him to fight harder.

"Run Daniel" I repeated. He tried, but within seconds, I fired again, and his other let was bleeding as he hit the floor. "Run" I said quietly, letting venom sink into my tone.

"I... I can't Jarod.. I cant.." He groaned, trying desperately to stop the bleeding.

"Run" I simply repeated, adrenaline was rushing through me. I wasn't going to let him get away without suffering greatly.

I had to give him his props though, he tried, oh did he try. He yelled out as he dragged himself with his arms, although he only made it a mere few inches before giving up. He looked up at me.

"Jarod.. please....Jay...help me.. please Jarod" he begged,looking up at me, green eyes begging for help. I simply grinned manically. I watched him grow paler and paler.

"Goodbye Danny" I said, and fired. His eyes widened as I pulled the triggers, a quick spurt of blood shot form his chest as the bullet made contact. He went limp, staring up at me, eyes going glassy.

"Jarod...." he rasped, then was still.

I shot up in bed, t-shirt soaked though with sweat. I checked myself for blood. There was none. I ran down the hallway, opening the drawer that held my badge and gun. It hadn't been fired. Finally I checked my clock- 4:17 AM.

I got int he shower, trying to calm myself down. I wouldn't shoot Daniel, even if he annoyed me, Okay, i might joke about killing him, but I would never really do it. No one deserved to die like that. I wouldn't kill my sisters boyfriend, I knew how much that would hurt her. I got dressed hastily and decided to go for a run, maybe past Danny's house.. just in case.

I downloaded something, then got ready to put it on WMM, but I needed to convert it to WMV so i hit 'convert' on Realplayer, selected WMV but when i bring it up, its only audio!! What happened?

Im making something for Youtube, and im making a thing for these two characters. They've had this 'thing' from the start, but both have missed their shot entirely- several times, yet have remained close friends. She's independant, he always is trying to protect her. So.. any Ideas? I like songs like 'Crazy For This Girl' 'A Thousand Miles' stuff like that :D Thanks in advance. Oh, and nothing too heavy :)

Im trying to download something, and it gets to 2 seconds left, then goes all 'Realplayer has stopped working' and shuts down. I tryed re-installing, but it wont work. please help me

My Hedgehog was born November 4th, and I was cuddling with her today and realized that there were some really short spikes, while some where long. Does this mean she has quilled? Or not? I've heard they can quill anytime from 8 weeks to 6 months of age.. so is she quilling? Is there anyway to tell if she has quilled? Shes the prettiest little pinto Ive ever seen :D So.. anything you can tell me will be awesome!

Okay, I had a hedgehog who died of a stroke just before thanksgiving. My mom got me this little baby hedgie for christmas. He's really young, and we cant tell yet if its a male or female. He/she is a pinto. Hes extremly curious and never seems to get tired. We're looking for a name that describes his personality, or something deep, ya know? I liked Ayotunde - which means joy has returned

The mist shrouded the forest, soft moonlight filtering through the leaves and pine needles. The plants rustled, sounding like soft whispers in the light winter breeze. There was one place however, in the very center of the vast forest, a small circular clearing, powdered white by the early winter snow. It was there that stood the ancient, mangled, oak. It’s bark was mottled black and muddy brown. Its branches were twisted at unusual angles, and it’s barren limbs rattled in the wind.

It was there that they appeared.

A jet black raven came to rest on one of the branches. He sat there for over an hour. Suddenly one man appeared in the clearing.

He was a tall man, and he had golden blonde hair, angular features, and, perhaps most shocking, brilliant, bright, ice blue eyes. He is no older than 25. Or so it seems. But this is no ordinary man. He is almost seven feet tall, and muscular. His lips part and move, almost as if he is talking, but no sound emerges from his throat.

He stood there for a moment and looked around. When his eyes fell upon the raven, he chuckled.

“Up to your old tricks eh, Nehemiah?” he smiled grimly.

The raven blinked once, then launches away from the branch and lighted down toward the forest floor before, with a great backwatering of wings, morphed into a human. His hair was jet black, his eyes a flashing green. He stood almost as tall as the first man. He scowled.

“Why did you want me?” he spat at the first man.

“I needed to talk you,” the first man replied solemnly. “Its important”

“Well spit it out then!” Nehemiah snapped impatiently.

“I think you know why I have asked you here to this historic place. The unthinkable has happened. We have been revealed.. Not to the general public of course, but the U.S. government knows who and what we are. They have started a registration program, checking peoples records and checking for things that have been tampered or falsified.” his voice is smoother than velvet, yet somehow still hard as stone.

“I don’t know what you expect me to do about it” The Nehemiah retorts. “its your fault that we have been revealed. Ever since we were cast down, you just had to take charge, and if you don’t remember, it was your idea; ‘Blend in, settle down, be like normal people and raise families’ Look where that’s gotten us Alexander!!” he yells, furious, his green eyes blazing. The golden haired man, Alexander, doesn't’t seem at all affected by the harsh words of Nehemiah. “I know its my fault. And I take responsibility for it, but that isn’t the point! We are all at risk, every one of us, our children, and everyone who could even possibly know what we are!”

Nehemiah sighed, and leaned against the old pine tree. He rubs his hand against his temple. “What do you expect us to do?” He asks, his voice resigned and tired. Alexander sighed deeply. “The only thing we can do; gather everyone up and go into hiding, until this all blows over and it is all dismissed as some crazy peoples myths.” Nehemiah stands stiff and straight “And how exactly do you plan to do that? All of us, and then our children, and their children.. How are you planning to do this?” His deep green eyes alight and he turns to face Alexander, who returns his stare. Together they say the same word, perfectly synchronized. “Elleya”

“But she can only find they ones who know what they are. Half our children and grandchildren don’t even know.” Nehemiah says in an odd voice, deep in thought.

“Well one thing is for certain” Alexander said in a strange voice “something has to be done about this”

“Where are we going to take everyone? I mean there’s at the very least 100 of us, and the nephilims… where are we going to take them?” Nehemiah asked carefully, putting more weight on the trunk of the ancient oak.

“The Haven, naturally.” Alexander said simply, as if it answered the question perfectly. “But first things first, we need to find Elleya"

Leapstar- Dark tabby tom with brown eyes.

Tanglestar- Black and brown mottled tom with bright blue eyes

Brackenstar- A grey tom with black spots on his back and amber eyes.
