  • Quiz Help Please - Bays of the World?

    Hi Everybody,

Hoping you can help. I'm taking part in a quiz and whilst I've got most of the answers, these three still elude me. They are related to "bays".

    1. A new soundtrack to a film, you add,

A waterfall or pool’s not bad.

    2. Two letters, in a line, that’s odd,

Are followed by a type of cod!

    3. Intelligence and sense here bide,

    Here upon the sheltered side.

Any help you can give greatly appreciated!

  • Excel Help Needed With Retaining Formatting?

I have created a spreadsheet with some simple formulae and a little conditional formatting (cells turning green/red depending on value). It needs to be able to be pasted into a new excel document keeping the formulae and also being able to be edited. Unfortunately, pasting removes the formulae and paste special doesn't let me edit. I am using Excel 2007. Any help greatly appreciated.

  • Fallout 3 Weapon Question?

I've acquired the Infiltrator and the Perforator which are both scoped silenced assault rifles. After a bit of use, they appear to both have lost their silenced ability. I've even repaired them but this still doesn't seem to have brought this back. Not done anything I can think of to have caused this. Any advice?

  • Asteroids in prehistoric Earth question?

I know there was one about 65 million years ago that killed off the dinosaurs and know there are very often minor asteroids but was sure I read somewhere that there was another major one in the earth's prehistory sometime after the dinosaurs when everything had settled down again, can anyone confirm this and if so when it was?

  • Where to get a Gas Detector from?

    Hi,

I don't mean a Carbon Monoxide Detector....me and my fiance are looking at moving houses and if there is gas in the property, we would of course have a carbon monoxide detector anyways as a matter of course. I mean a normal gas detector.....the reason I ask is that I have no sense of smell and so wouldn't be able to detect if there was a gas leak or anything like that? Have not seen any in shops or on ebay, just brings up the carbon monoxide ones....or can they pick up normal gas as well? any help would be greatly appreciated as for peace of mind, would rather have one in case my fiance isn't about and the worst should happen.......

  • Anybody have or remember this board game from the 80s?

    Hi there,

When i was little, my parents bought us a board game, it was in quite a smallish box (poss.red) from WH Smiths and was something about king of the castle or similar. The counters were wooden and oval, quite thick in red, yellow, green and blue and you moved around the board throwing the dice. At the end, there was a plastic red castle with a whole in the top and a slide. Once you reached the end, your piece slotted in the castle where it held until the next person came along. Then yours was pressed down and fell down the slide. Anybody got any clues? i've tried google and yahoo-ing it and can't seem to bring it up.

  • Wonder if you know where this is?

Doing a quiz for work and stuck on a picture round of famous UK landmarks (i have no scanner so many apologies for no picture) - it looks like it's inside a cathedral or church, and not sure if it's a clock or just a wall decoration but it resembles a massive dartboard with red and yellow segments. There is stained glass far above and stone walls which is why i know it's inside a cathedral or church (or castle, you never know). Am guessing it would be 6 foot in diameter but that's just a guess in comparison to the people stood in front of it, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Fable II Question? Donating to the Light?

The online guides say that you make the donation when the sun is at its zenith at midday, but they don't mention whether that's our time or game time. The only way i can figure of doing it at game midday is there's a clock in bowerstone market and could always work out from how long it will take to get there for when to set off. it's probably something really simple but is just eluding me at the moment. My fiance has a similar problem as he's following the evil path and needs to make the ultimate sacrifice at midnight and is having trouble.

  • What computer game was this? Mid-80s or earlier?

I remember when i was in junior school in the mid-80s and we only had the one computer kept in a cupboard and wheeled out for us all to sit around, the teachers put on a game where you were in a castle going into different rooms, there were ruby dragons and emerald dragons and sapphire dragons, and you sometimes had to make decisions about whether you fought them or ran, any ideas???

  • Help with Album Cover? Urgent!?

    Hi there,

Doing a quiz and need to find the name of the album and the artist, please can you help

The cover i think is a black background and has four male heads in a circle, they look like they've been carved out of rock or chiseled, look quite crumpled, bit arty like, looks like the title and artist could be in the top left of the cover - the top and the left males are facing right, and the right and bottom males are facing left - their heads cut off at the jaw....any help???

It's definitely not Queen, that's just four normal human heads in the shadows - these are chiseled looking artistic impressions of faces - and sorry i have no link, the quiz i've got is on a piece of paper and not on computer i'm afraid, no access to a scanner

this one is of a camel facing left, looks a bit clip-arty and he's in a white dome (snowglobe shaped), definitely not camel cigarettes.
