It legitimately kills over half of its users, and deducts a lot from the nation's economy - so why is it legal? Why would the government allow such a thing to do this?

I would appreciate it a lot if it has significance to our world, society, or both.

It can be anything - some deadly bacteria that gives you bloody diarrhea, spiders, wasps, creepy people.

I'm always expected to be the best I can be: by my peers, my teachers, my parents, etc... I spend my time going over the limit for all my assignments and studying random things. I am addicted to playing my piano. I play it ten hours a day, and sneak downstairs to play it one O'Clock in the morning, but it doesn't affect my marks (100% in geography, 98% in music, you get the gist). Is this normal? Does anyone else do this?
