  • Long Distance Relationship Experience/Advice?

Hi! I am 22 and in a serious relationship with a 22 year old guy. He and I have been dating for almost a year and we both care about each other very deeply. I will be moving abroad to teach English for a year and he will be staying home to finish up his last semester of college. He's hoping to visit me abroad (budget permitting) and we are planning to stay together while I am away. I really want things to work out. We've discussed all of the options we have and have agreed that we want to stay together. I trust him with all my heart and I know he wouldn't do anything to hurt me in the long run and up until now he hasn't. He's extremely sincere and so genuine. I think he's the one! My question here is, what have your experiences in LDR (long distance relationships) been like? Do you have any advice? We are planning to skype often and keep in touch with google voice, we'll both be busy (my teaching and his college coursework) but willing to make time for each-other, despite the time difference. I'm anxious something will fail and I'll lose him. I leave in a week. I'm open to advice and hearing about your experiences!

  • Left hand turning advice?

Also, when I'm making a left hand turn can I only get into the left lane and then merge into the right lane or can I just turn into the right lane? Sorry first time driver questions, please be nice, I'm 17.

  • Tips on driving?

I'm getting my license and I've had plenty of experience driving with my dad and my driving instructor. I seem to drive well, but am sometimes confused by the road, I guess becoming familiar with which routes to get to which place will become familiar to me as I drive more and more. My dad got me a car, a nice ford focus in pretty good shape. I feel pretty confident driving, it's quite nice, but I am sometimes weary of driving in the fast lane, so I stay to the right lane. Any tips before my exam? Parallel parking tips too? Thanks for reading. Please be nice, I'm 17.

  • How many driving lessons will I need in order to get the handle on driving?

Hi everyone! I am in the process of learning to drive and I have had three driving lessons with a local driving agency in my city. My fear of driving has gradually been diminishing, and I am feeling good! I just have a question, how many more lessons do you think I need? I guess I could also ask my instructor how many lessons he thinks I need the next time I have a class. In how many lessons did you learn? Also, I keep having a tiny issue when turning, do I keep my foot on the petal the whole time or do I put my foot on the brake, because sometimes when I turn and put my foot on the break, the car gets super slow and nearly stops. Please and thank you. :)

  • Studying abroad?

I'm studying abroad for the academic year of 2015-2015. I am stoked and don't know what to expect. If anyone as studied abroad before please give me some advice? I'd be a junior in college by the time I'm studying abroad and I'm going to be studying abroad in a Spanish speaking country and attending a super big university way bigger than my tiny liberal arts school. I'm typically outgoing and social, but I'm so nervous. I'm a Spanish Education major, and pretty fluent in Spanish, but just so nervous. =/ Please advice? Helpful tips? If anyone has studied abroad do you have any experiences you'd like to share? I'm excited! :D

  • Why is he SO angry at me? What did I do?

So I have this used to be awesome best friend from high school. I am now a sophomore in college. He and I used to be super close friends in high school and even last year. Whenever I was on break last year (freshman year of college) I'd text him and ask him to catch up and hang out. We then would go to the park, mall, my house, his house ect and hang out like old times. Even throughout the academic year I'd text, skype and call whenever I had free time. He would often times text me too throughout the academic year and we'd chat. However this year things just aren't right. We were doing the same old texting, skyping, calling this past semester and then during Fall break we hung out, the usual. Then his grandfather died during Thanksgiving break and he said he couldn't hang out because he was going to the funeral ect. I told him I was sorry for his loss and to contact me if he wanted to talk to anyone. He never replied. I would then call him to check up on him as losing a loved one can be hard. He never called back, or texted and I was confused. Now I am currently on Winter break and I texted him and asked if he was alright since he never contacted after that last text and he got so ANGRY out of thin air. He started accusing me of being selfish and insensitive. I was confused, I don't know where this came from and I tried asking him why he was accusing me of being these things. He then said "Leave me alone". I don't know how to feel. We used to be such good friends.

  • Guy Issues?

Hey, so here's my story. I'm 20 and there's this 19 year old guy who is seriously into me. He and I met last year and he fell for me really fast. He was also super honest with his feelings. I liked him and found him to be a super sweet guy, but felt like he was a bit too obsessive. He would get all sad whenever I would forget to message him for a day. We stopped talking for a while because I said I needed space because I was feeling overwhelmed. We recently started talking and he's becoming obsessive again. I think he's a sweet guy, I really do and I do like him, but don't like how obsessive he gets about me. He's also always down on himself and analyzes everything I say. He is even thinking of transferring to my university. He wants to meet up soon and I don't know what to do. I'm sorry if this all sounds weird. I am just really overwhelmed. Why would he be so obsessed with me? I'm not really anything special. =/ What should I do or tell him. :(

  • Spanish Teacher?

I am studying Spanish Education in college and wanted to know, how does the job market look for Spanish teachers? I am also minoring in International Studies. I'm a first year and can't wait to be a Spanish teacher! I love the language and my parents are native speakers. :)

Should I get a masters degree? I am currently attending a small private liberal arts school, where I can only earn a Bachelors degree. Thanks!

Also, I would love to go onto graduate school and receive my PhD. :)

  • Review my Spanish sentences please?

Hey! I'm taking a Spanish course in college. I'm a first year and a my parents are native speakers of Spanish! You'd suppose I would be amazing at Spanish because of this, but I suck at grammar. I was wondering if anyone could review a few sentences I wrote! This was just for fun, I love languages and just want to perfect my Spanish, and I'm oh so very passionate about the language. :)

    Comments would be greatly appreciated!

    Gracias! Lo agradezco!
