  • Am I the only one who's uncomfortable writing from the perspective of a character of the opposite gender?

    I like to write short stories, and obviously my protagonists are not always female. However, when I try to write from first person POV as a guy, I get stuck. I just can't seem to get in the mindset of a male character at all, even though I created him. I've tried writing in third person when this happens, but usually I get the same results.

    So basically, I was just wondering if anyone else has this problem and if so, do you know any ways of fixing it?
