I don't understand?
This is a section for people to ask questions about religions wether that's Buddhist, catholic, Islam, Christian, etc on a site with answers in the name. It seems, at least it seems, to imply this is where people can come to ask questions and get answers. Instead we see two sides puffing themselves up and going after the other. very few people actually bring anything to back up their claims and fewer still show any sort of decency. Might as well go live in a run down neighborhood with two rival gangs outside my door. Been waiting a year or two to see if things will change and we can actually get serious about asking questions on religion.
8 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoWhy do you atheists show so much hate and bitterness in R&S?
I am being serious. The vast majority of the comments I see by people who don't believe in any religion are just bitter and rude. What's the purpose? What do you gain from it? How does this better society? Do you think aggression will convince us we are wrong or just having a bad day and needing to bully someone to make you feel better? Come on now. You claim to be the intelligent ones of this earth. apply your intelligence once more and answer this question.
Just a side note if you do want to be chosen for best answer please be courteous and respectful with your words. You don't need to kiss *** and side with me but keep the insults and slander to a maximum of non existant.

Unyielding belief in afterlife. Jesus Christ. Question hoping for sincere responses free from bitterness. Ten plus angry trolls. So much hurt.
4 AnswersReligion & Spirituality6 years agoDoes Norton work across hard drive partitions?
So I need to install a second operating system into my computer because a work website has features that only work on Internet Explorer 7-9. I've already concluded that owning the operating system will be the most cost effective option and I'm curious if I can partition my hard drive, install the OS on the partition, and Norton will work across that partition and not treat it like its a separate hard drive and in turn mean that it won't protect it. I can go the route of a virtual machine but I don't want to take any risks with there being some weird compatibility issue between the site and the OS if the OS is virtualized. I don't think the compatibly issue is even slightly likely. I just want to remove all unknown variables no matter how slight.
1 AnswerSoftware6 years agoPlay station gold membership between systems?
I've been trying to figure this out for awhile now. I have a play station gold membership and on my PS3 (which I activated it from) works fine. On my ps4 though I can get the discounts but can't browse the free monthly games or anything else gold specific. Everywhere I look on the PSN says for me to purchase the membership even though I have it.
Anyone know of a way to fix this?
1 AnswerVideo & Online Games6 years agoEmployment after military?
This question has been a bit bothersome for a while now. Soon I'll finish up my courses in an MOS that's said to always be in demand in civilian life, that is, it's in the Information Technology field. I'm curious how employers will treat a military education that'll take a total of a year to a job where the requirements are typically a bachelors degree?
If I need to be more specific the civilian job I'll be going for is a system administrator.
6 AnswersMilitary7 years agoDragons Dogma magic help?
I'm only level 31 and been using strictly magic since I started but I've been questioning something.
Is fire overpowered, the other elements underpowered, or is nothing weak to the other elements? Or am I missing something?

1 AnswerSkin Conditions8 years agoHow long does someone have to make a case in small claims court in California?
Supposedly Someone owes $500 for a deductible due to a dent made in someone's car. It was caused by backing into the person's car as they blocked a driveway.
The plaintiff only has the dent in the car as evidence so I'm already sure they'll lose the case if they start one but how long do they have to open a case on something like this?
1 AnswerLaw & Ethics8 years agoMetal bands with drop tuning?
To begin narrowing things down from this question with god knows how many answers are there any metal bands that have a guitarist play in drop tuning, has riffs that an intermediate player can learn, the music itself contains no explicit lyrics, and falls under heavy, nu, alternative, progressive, or rap metal.
If you can provide links or at least names of specific songs by the bands that'll be appreciated.
Side notes:
I used to despise playing in dropped tunings because it felt extremely limited compared to standard. After trying to create some chords and trying it out with an actual interest to make it work I've come to see the usefulness of dropped tunings and what it can provide that standard can't. So I'm asking here because my list of bands are either too easy, I don't find it fun to play, or are way above my skill level.
2 AnswersRock and Pop8 years agoWhat metal sub genre uses standard tunings most often?
I ask because I like metal and want to practice it on guitar. Thing is though is I heavily dislike dropped tunings. They make me feel so limited and makes so much that isn't a power chord feel funny. So many modern metal bands almost exclusively use dropped tunings too and in such a way that makes playing that song in standard ridiculously difficult. Also I'm not into older metal bands which do use standard. Anyways what sub genre most often uses a form of standard tuning?
PS: it doesn't have to be E standard. Just standard. A-G
3 AnswersRock and Pop8 years agoMarine corps inactive reserves question?
While you're in your second portion of your reserve contract you are in the inactive reserves. You are basically just there waiting to be activated.
My question here is during this time can you work a secondary mos (MSG, Recruiter, Drill Instructor) full time? Is that a good idea? Is there anything that must be known?
Thanks in advance
1 AnswerMilitary8 years agoMarine Corps MOS pay question?
While attending your school in the Marine Corps after boot camp and MCT do you receive pay? I'm aware you recieve active duty pay in boot camp. I am also not aware of the pay situation in MCT.
I am not becoming a marine for the money just to clarify. I am joining to be of service and to protect the people I love so money isn't a primary concern. I'm just in a situation where this knowledge can save a large amount of hassle.
If it must be known I will be at least a PFC upon completing boot camp and my MOS school will take at least several months. It is also not Infantry. Preferably state your sources upon answering.
Thanks in advance.

1 AnswerVideo & Online Games8 years agoGuitar phrygian mode?
I've noticed that the phrygian mode is the root, flat 2nd, sharp 3rd, 4,5,6,7 when looked at in a minor key and I'm curious why is it that so many images about how this mode relates to a fretboard and many other sources say there's a whole step between the second and third notes but as its stated above there should be three half steps. Am I missing something or what?
1 AnswerRock and Pop8 years agoHow can people stand listening to modern mainstream?
I can't find anything appealing about it. There's very little variety from the structure, melody, beat, and lyrics. The songs are about sex, drugs, money, drinking, dancing, or a combination of those. Everything else seems to be mostly identical but given a different sound. For example the drum beat almost always being set up bass snare bass snare.
I'm curious how all of this makes for music you want to support and listen to

3 AnswersRock and Pop9 years agoLegal roms for emulators?
I know emulators are perfectly legal and some roms are ok because the game's creator isn't earning jack on them any more and that those games I can use as long as its for my own use and I'm not making money off it and what not but...
Is there a site that keeps tabs on what roms are legal? Maybe a general rule like anything on a 3rd gen system and older? Or is this something that's dependent on the games themselves? Maybe something else?
