Best time to visit Vietnam (weather)?
I know that apparently with Vietnam the weather is very different from north to south. I am planning to go there next year but would like to know when the best time of year is to go re: weather to get a good balance between north and south where it is mainly dry? Is May a good time to go?

Im planning a trip to Krakow but see that the flights to Katowice are cheaper so planning to fly there. I understand that you can get a bus from Katowice to Krakow. How much is this and how frequent are they and do you have to book them in advance?

I have seen some pretty cheap deals for flying from Los Angeles to Las Vegas ($119 / £74) - I dont know though is it worth hiring a car and driving there and back or does it cost a lot for petrol in the USA and toll charges and then so it would owrk out cheaper to fly than drive?

9 AnswersThailand1 decade agoChicago for 3 hours? Is it worth leaving the airport?
I am having a flight connection from New York and stopping off at Chicago for 3 hours before moving on to LAX, I was wondering whether its worth leaving the airport and if anyone knows anywhere local that might be good to visit in the meantime or is it best to just stay put?
9 AnswersChicago1 decade agoDomestic flights in USA?
I was wondering if someone could help me please? I am travelling to New York for a couple of days then moving on to Los Angeles. I know standard procedure for international flights is allowing 2 hour for check in. However, I was wondering how long I would have to allow for a domestic flight in the USA? Or would 2 hours still apply as I am a British Citizen and not American? Please advise.
Thanks! :)
5 AnswersAir Travel1 decade agoHardcore / Screamo shows in either Los Angeles or New York during these dates?
We are travelling to New York on 27th-30th August and then flying over across to LA from 30th until 4th September. Whilst we are here we would like to experience what its like at US hardcore gig/show and see how the American shows compare to us Brits. Anyone know any good shows going on during these dates or any good clubs that play this sort of music?
Thanks! :)
2 AnswersLos Angeles1 decade agoDriving -v- Public Transport in LA...!!!?
In early September we are going to LA for a city break. I am just wondering whether its worth getting about by hiring a car and driving or using the public transport. My friends who have been before said they used public transport fine, but I'm not so sure. I won't be travelling alone so its not me worried about safety or being anxious, its just I'm not sure whether its actually worth hiring a car? Or is it that hard to travel about wihtout a car in LA? Bearing in mind I will be 25 years old, never drove an automatic car before (in UK use Manual) and so wondering if I would be ok and how easy the roads are? HELP PLEASE? Thanks! :)
8 AnswersLos Angeles1 decade agoTravel to Thailand alone or with a tour group?
I haven't booked my trip yet but was planning to book my flight this week to Bangkok in December but my friend who I was travelling with (only for 3 weeks) has just cancelled on me but I would still really like to go. However, Im in a situation now whether I should just book my flight and carry on travelling solo and do everything freelance or whether I should book with a tour group like STA or Gap Adventures?
I like the idea of travelling solo, but at the same time a bit nervous in case I don't make friends, but at the same time I think some of these tour packages are a bit overpriced for my liking and is cheaper travelling alone and booking everything whilst out there (i.e. overnight trains, trips, tours etc).
Someone please give me some advice! :'( xx
