Weather in Thailand late November / early December?
Hi there!
Im going Thailand late in November and plan to head my way to Koh Phangan/Koh Samui/Koh Tao by about early December. I understand its rainy season around that time of year but will it still be ok and will there be some sunshine to sunbathe at least?

The rainy season is not the hot season - Rainy season usually ends late october - sometimes goes into early november - you will be here in the beginning of cool season, which depending upon where you are from, might seem hot - but hot season is April - and if the above person were here during hot season, they would have remembered..

Actually, it is the dry season from November onwards! You will miss most, if not all, of the rain. In fact, the rainy season is actually the hottest season, but it is so ridiculously hot that you would struggle to go outside. While you're there, It will be very hot the whole time, but manageable, you'll be wanting air conditioning - trust me! There will be a lot of sunshine. I'm sure you'll have a great time! :)

It'd actually be winter season during your visit, but don't worry, the lowest temperature you're gonna get in daytime is probably 27C or something. And there will be plenty of sunshine to sunbathe. The sun shines year round in Thailand :) Have fun!

Your going to miss the rainy season by about a month or 2... you can sunbathe in Bangkok year round.... I've lived here for 3 years and absolutely love it... I have a cook/maid, driver, and and errand girl. My house has extremely large doors and windows that we keep open just about year round except April and May (too damn hot!).... To answer your question I have a nice tan year round.. when your in town stop by my house and take a dip in the pool and try some traditional thai food... i live in Bangkok on Sukhumvit-On Nut. Just ask anyone where the crazy American lives on my street... lol.

The best season of the year in Thailand, with cool weather but warm sunshine.

I can hardly suggest weather to you now.
Even Thais say weather changed a lot. Usually we got Hot, Rain, Cold. But now we got Hot, Damn hot and we're meltin'.
early december usually not rainy, anyway. December is a beginning of our cold season which is warn for you westerners.

The rainy season will pretty much be over then and if you make it to the north of Thailand it gets nice and cold.It is really weird to see your breath while staring at a coconut tree.
