My username is a play on my name. No I do not believe in hell. That's the ironic part. I like to throw in random music references when I can. Here is a list: AC/DC (as a question, got deleted though) The Lonely Island (also as a question) REM Lacuna Coil Radiohead Metallica Linkin Park The Killers Rage Against the Machine Afroman (got deleted) System of a Down Cake Slayer (when someone wants a song or video) And I've even thrown some literary references: Shakespeare Douglas Adams (when one asks about the meaning of life) Whenever "the rapture" is mentioned, I compel myself to reference Bioshock. I have also employed pseudo-Java and pseudo-HTML in some of my responses. The latter is mostly for sarcasm.

  • Spiritually speaking, what do you think of this "sermon"?

"And the angel of the lord came unto me, snatching me up from my place of slumber. And took me on high, and higher still until we moved to the spaces betwixt the air itself. And he brought me into a vast farmlands of our own midwest. And as we descended, cries of impending doom rose from the soil. One thousand, nay a million voices full of fear. And terror possesed me then. And I begged, 'Angel of the Lord, what are these tortured screams?' And the angel said unto me, 'These are the cries of the carrots, the cries of the carrots! You see, Reverend Maynard, tomorrow is harvest day and to them it is the holocaust.' And I sprang from my slumber drenched in sweat like the tears of one million terrified brothers and roared, 'Hear me now, I have seen the light! They have a consciousness, they have a life, they have a soul! Damn you! Let the rabbits wear glasses! Save our brothers!' Can I get an amen? Can I get a hallelujah? Thank you Jesus."

  • Christians, Is Rock 'N' Roll still the devil's music?

If so, how appalled are you at the success of video game franchises, such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band, that expose a younger generation of people to classic and modern rock?

  • Atheists, are we free?

We all know that freedom of religion is protected by the first amendment. Since many of us say that atheism is not a religion (but a lack thereof), are we protected by the Constitution? Or should we choose our words carefully and call atheism a religion?

As I recall it was a horror film. Can you help me remember what happened afterward?

  • Freedom of Religion Question?

Do you think religions should be taxed like any other institution, as long as all religions are taxed using the same standards? If they are taxed with the same set of tax brackets, it would not favor one religion over another. It seems equal in my opinion. Plus, the government would receive a good chunk of money, thereby lowering the national debt.
