I know this girl whom I like, she has a lot of what I'm looking for, I'm friends with her but not besties or anything like that, but she's good friends with a close friend of mine. And I have this other friend, whom I met a couple of months ago but really started talking and getting on since a month ago. So this girl recently broke up with her boyfriend, and my friend also did the same with his girlfriend, just a day apart. 1 week ago. I didn't see him as a threat at all as he seemed interested in another friend I have, so I took him along to a study session. There he got the chance to meet properly and talk to both of my (girl) friends. Up to that point everything still good, but since Monday, he's been actively flirting with my girl (not as in possessive but rather as to not confuse you more). In lessons he keeps doing exactly what I would do, throwing some paper at her, playing footsie, annoying her with another classmate that no one likes, pretty much what my plan was. So I'm right now on my back foot, I know I could still get back into it, but I need ideas how, I don't want to be a copy cat, and I don't want to but I want to fight for her. How can I out flirt him? what should I do? how do I approach the situation, because she seems to be falling for it. Any other suggestions??

I have this friend whom I like since last year that she was in my class, and this year she's also in my class. She recently, 4 days ago, broke up with her boyfriend of 1 month, we had a party on friday and although we were enjoying it she seemed a bit sad, nevertheless I tried my best to make her smile. During the party I saw her speaking to her ex. I thought oh damn there goes my chance, the next day I learnt that she actually had another argument with him, so most likely they won't get back.

Problem is I'm not the greatest flirt in the room, and not that great at judging the right time to make my moves, and not really close mates. So yeah when should I start actively flirting?? And any recommendations to improve my technique?? Invite her to the cinema? A Coffee?

I've recently downloaded the new internet explorer, but after I tried to download a file from my email, the download manager wouldn't open, even when I press ctrl + J. I then tried from another page and same again it didn't open, and when it saved I couldn't see where it was saving, luckily I knew the most likely place. So if I can't manage my downloads what's the point of a download manager.

I keep getting jealous, we meet a couple of months ago in uni, she's in all my lessons. I started uni wanting a gf, but I didn't want her to be a classmate as I spend too much time at uni in lessons so I wanted someone who I could go out with and change environment. Ok, now I started talking to her because she was kind of attractive and had a cool style, yet I wasn't actually talking to her planning to go out with her.

Ok, so I was the one who started the interaction, something I don't usually do as I can be a little bit shy. Then she started to talk a bit more to the friends I had. A couple of weeks ago I was an idiot, lost my inhibitions and my good judgement so i kept showing I liked her, the next morning I realised what I had done. As you know putting all your cards in the table is not a great idea and not good at all if she hasn't risked anything. I considered actually asking her out, "Hey V.... do you wanna go to the cinema watch....." but someone told me she kissed this other guy, she did tell me she liked him and I told her to go for it, me being an unselfish friend and not realising my feelings just yet. So as you can see, I couldn't do anything. Now what would you have done??

After that our friendship felt a bit strained as I tried to hold back and not make her think I liked her, it was a bad decision as my other "mates" started to flirt with her while I stopped myself. Now, people have told me she doesn't like the guy she kissed, and before I knew that I tried to get back to normal and we almost were until these "friends" upped their flirting even though they clearly had seen I felt something however small for her. Now they hug her whenever they see her, I have a problem with touching people so I'm not the one who starts the hug, and she hasn't hugged me for quite sometime.

So, my friends are flirting with the girl I like, and one of them is even considering asking her out, I think she might say yes, now that makes me sort of sad.

To counteract my display of unnecessary affection I got away from her and pretended I didn't care who she went out with, I asked her to present me some girls so I met her cousin, who is not that cute, alright at most. As I missed the plot, I accepted and now I made a stupid choice and invited her cousin out. Well that was silly wasn't it, and yesterday she hugged and flirted with everyone but me, and that indeed make me sad.

Now my question is wtf can I do, I know I shouldn't be jealous, I should forget about her, but I see her almost everyday and keeps popping in my mind. Can't seem to find the right answer. Any suggestions?

I reacted 20cm3 of 2M nitric acid with 10 cm of mg ribbon, but when it reacted the vapour wasn't white as expected.

It had a slight tinge of yellow and a stronger smell than when I reacted sulphuric with magnesium.

I think it might be nitrogen dioxide, but that is supposed to be a brown vapour, also i wasn't expecting NO2 to form.

Any help into what exactly formed and reasons for that will be greatly appreciated.

What is the product of disassociation of Sulphuric acid, does it disassociate completely?

does HSO4 act as both base and acid? in which cases can it act as a base nad when as an acid?

and does anyone know what are the dangers of NO2?

There is this girl I've known for more than a year who I think is supercool, not the best looking girl on the universe but just fine and intellegent that really like but she was going out with someone else, I thought about asking her out but then she kinda dropped in the conversation she was going out with this dude. I though I missed my chance but they recently broke up but I think she might still like him.How long do I have to wait to ask her out? I feel we connect when we are on msn every once in a while but I'm not sure how to know if she likes me becasue I act really stupid not likein a goofy cool way but just sound really really extremely big headed or like a complete retard but I'm ussually a nice guy (I think) who is a bit shy but I know if someone challenged me to ask any girl in a party fro somoene else I'd probably do it, but only if they challenged me if I was to do it alone for me I peee my pants.Do you have any advice on what to do,should I wait more or ask her out & how?
