How long should you wait after a girl has broken up with her old boyfriend before you start flirting?

I have this friend whom I like since last year that she was in my class, and this year she's also in my class. She recently, 4 days ago, broke up with her boyfriend of 1 month, we had a party on friday and although we were enjoying it she seemed a bit sad, nevertheless I tried my best to make her smile. During the party I saw her speaking to her ex. I thought oh damn there goes my chance, the next day I learnt that she actually had another argument with him, so most likely they won't get back.

Problem is I'm not the greatest flirt in the room, and not that great at judging the right time to make my moves, and not really close mates. So yeah when should I start actively flirting?? And any recommendations to improve my technique?? Invite her to the cinema? A Coffee?

Dude, In my world there is no such thing as a time limit for you to start flirting with a broken soul. But umm yeaa just start slow for now, and go for it. If she gives you the good sign then you could keep going. Start light and then pursue her is what I am saying. Also, Haha..flirting, it comes and goes just compliment her. That's a basic flirt, and then whenever you are in a conversation..it will come to you and you'll know the perfect time to perform an action or do something. Good luck with this girl, h and in this case I would say about, 2 to 3 weeks if not maybe less to as 5 days.

You could start really small right now, just to let her know you care. Then, gradually, work up to bigger flirting and eventually ask her out!

    Hope I helped!!

ASAP but do not ask her out right away wait . Another idea is to be her friend then ask her out.

Try comforting her, just get your foot in the door.

I would just ask her when she's ready to start dating again.
