What part of the Democrat platform would they have to change to make you want to support the party.

No matter how bad things are (high unemployment, out of control deficit, stagnant growth, etc) Obama supporters blame Bush. Lets assume he was terrible president and caused all the problems.IT'S BEEN THREE YEARS. When does he get credit for the state of the union. I can't think of one football coach with a job after 3 losing seasons or name one CEO of a company with three years without good earnings. 2nd terms are for doing a good job. Not to finish fixing the previous guys mistakes. That is why the election is every 4 years, not 6 or 8.

For years the Democrats have labeled the GOP as a racist party. Would not a Herman Cain nomination destroy this view. Would more conservative leaning African Americans join the Republican party?

It seems 90% of the answers chosen as "Best answer" are selected by 1 vote-the person who gave it. Why do so many people ask a Yahoo question and then never comes back to choose a best answer. I often feel my answer was never read.

talking about Obama and the current debt ceiling crisis. Yes Bush over spent, wars included. Yes Bush raised the debt ceiling 7 times. Fiscally conservative voters agree. We thought it then and think it now. If we could stop Bush from over spending we would, but its too late. compounding the problem by allowing Obama to follow Bushes mistakes with more of the same. Many independents who voted for Obama wanted change, not another overspending president from either party.

I keep seeing people ask about why Yahoo offers a point system. I thought we should delve into what kind of things the points could buy if yahoo was more proactive.

I would think you would get points for asking questions; keeping the site active.

Is there a double standard? Shouldn't he resign after not only disgracing himself, but lying trying to cover it up!

Whenever a women is ask what kind of guy she likes, she answer someone who makes me laugh. Yet it is always the bad boys that seem to get the girl. Are women lying about wanting a fun guy?

Obama's message of hope and change struck a chord with a lot of voters. What were the specific changes you thought he meant? Has he come through on his promises as you saw them?

I am not looking for opinions on Obama's presidency(left love him, right hates him.. got it). I am looking for specifics on the theme of change.

There seem to be many levels of vegetarian. I don't get it! Why are you a vegetarian, What is your cut off point.

I started taking Adderall which seems to calm the whirlwind in my head, but I still find myself getting distracted from the task at hand??

Is it more important for the United States to back a dictator who supports our agenda or publicly back democracy even if it produces a leader who supports our enemies.
