I would like to make desserts with Christmas dinner. My problem, I don't want my diabetic relatives left out of the sweet treats. Any easy recipes for diabetics? Serious answers only please.

Was anyone else really let down by this movie? I expected it to be a lot scarier.

I am buying an older house and there is a lot of work to be done. I know the easiest way to remove old wall paper is to spray with 1 part liquid fabric softener to 3 parts warm water, but I need other cheap ideas for carpet stains hard wood floor cleaning etc...Please keep in mind there are puppies in the house and the ideas should be pet friendly if possible.

My grandparents came here from Italy and became citizens of the United states in the 1920's. They took their oath along with over 100 other people. My question. Why should illegals be allowed to remain in the U.S. without getting a visa and coming here legally? Why should they be allowed to work in the U.S. without applying for U.S. citizenship? Both sides of the issue will be respected if you answer here.

My granny is letting me post this question on her account. I hope someone can help me. I am just finishing writing a book based on the journals of a relative that passed away and left them to me. My problem is that she went to school with some people who are in positions of power now, and the things that they did were really atrocious. Can I legally use their names, or do I have to change them or put in place a disclaimer that I do not have their sides of the story??? Any advice will help.

My husband broke his neck about 4 1/2 years ago. All he can really do is watch T.V. Sitting or standing for more than a little while is very painful. Are there any ideas on things that can get him out of the t.v. rut that would allow him to move from sitting to standing without strain?? Please keep answers simple as he suffered a bit of brain damage.Any ideas will be helpful.

Last year I took in a stray I named Babyblue.He is very loving toward me, and during a break-in on Thanksgiving night, proved to be very protective as well.If someone approaches another member of my family, he is indiiferent. If someone, even a family member approaches me, he growls and threatens. My adult children have to call him by name and pet him for "permission" before they can even hug me. I treat him no differently than our other dog. Is there a reason he is behaving this way? How can I get him to be "not quite so protective?"

My last child moved out two weeks ago.Though she is not even beyond the county borders, I feel as if she has gone away as far as Alaska. I have crying jags and want to keep the things she has here at home just as they are. Does anyone know how to get passed this????

I've got a real nightmare story for you. Back years ago, my sister wasn't old enough to go on dates that were one on one, so she convinced me to go on a blind date so we could double. All she would tell me was that he was her date's cousin from hungary, and his nickname was DRAC. After her date picked us up, we went to pick him up. As we pulled in front of the house I expected him to come out the door. NO! He was on the roof, in a TUX, no less. He didn't climb down a ladder, he jumped. He drifted to the car like he was made of wind. cape flowing and all. At the restraunt, he drank red wine whie the rest of us ate. I pretended to be ill and asked to go home. On the way back, the jerk bit me. That was 28 years ago, and I haven't been on a blind date since. Can anyone out there relate to my blind date nightmare???

My kids say I need to make friends outside hubby's side of the family, but I have been happy this way for 20-odd years. Should I keep on the way I am, or try to make the kids happy by making new friends? By the way, they are all grown and out of the house but 1 and she is leaving for college next year to another state.
