I have been using these same Kodak dual layer DVD+r disc's and the same burner and same operating system (windows 7 x64) and the same burning programs! and they used to burn just fine? now the burning program says the burn successfully but after burning I put them back in the drive and it says they are empty discs? which they are not cuz you can see where they have been burned! I've tried burning in three different computers on 3 different drives and after burning all the computers say the disc is empty? what gives? why would the first 12 discs burn fine and then do this? it leads me to believe the discs are not the problem either? it is probably some stupid windows 7 anti piracy thing or something? if any one has found a solution to this I would be eternally grateful! oh and all the burners burn Cd's fine I haven't tried any 4.7 gb dvd's lately so I'm not sure if they will work or not? please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have the Acer Aspire G7700 motherboard also known as msi p7n diamond and it is supposed to support core 2 quad processors but it does not? every time i put a quad in it, the stupid thing locks up every 10 minutes! put the core 2 duo back in and it runs fine! Why would Acer lie to us? i don't understand?

2 geforce gts450 graphic cards in sli

acer/msi g7700 motherboard!

and this is my power supply: ultra 550 watt is supposedly sli ready has the two 6 pin pci express connectors. is this power supply adequate for this system? I keep having system lockups and I don't know if it is the power supply? or perhaps that my CPU is reaching 70 degrees Celsius sometimes? (i just ordered a large gaming case and a corsair a50 CPU fan just in case) I also have a radeon hd 6870 I could put in it instead, but I was saving it for crossfire in another system. and it probably uses as much power as the 2 geforce cards anyway? I have looked all over online with no luck? I just want to know if this power supply is capable of what I'm asking it to do? any help would be appreciated! thanks! :o)

my bios claims that my core 2 quad q9300 is running 39 degrees Celsius and the computer is booted up Real Temp tells me it is 63 degrees Celsius? (at least at core 0 and slightly less on the other cores) which one should i believe? while gaming according to real temp my Cpu and Gpu are both reaching 75 degrees Celsius? but if they were running that hot for real wouldn't i be having errors and problems with my computer? should i not worry about it! or slap a 200mm cpu fan on the damn thing? i do not believe in liquid cooling cuz everyone knows liquid and electronics do not go well together! any suggestions would be appreciated?

i am considering getting one or the other soon! i really like the idea of the camera's on the new ipod and the ability to record hd video, but i wonder for a device that small if the quality of the video will be usable? also the ipod is quite a bit more expensive! my question is? is the extra cost worth it? if i get the ipod i will have to have at least a 32 gb one and that is at least $300 well $275 on amazon? i need some opinions on which one is built better and will last me a long time as long as i take care of it! and i hear the zune has better sound quality and of course sound quality is a very big deal to me! i would appreciate any answers that help me make an informed decision! thanks!

ok i bought this on ebay ! and when i hooked it to my computer it said i had to restore because it was formated for a junk mac computer so i went ahead and restored it, and after it restored it said i should disconnect it and plug it into the wall charger which i did not have? wft? so then i bought one on ebay and when it came i plugged it in for over 24 hours and still it does nothing? all it does is show a picture of an ac adapter and wall plug in on the screen? if anyone knows how to resolve this issue i would greatly appreciate it! thanks!

1. go to 8 gb ddr 2 pc6400 ram

2. go to 4gb ddr 2 pc8500 ram

3. go to a solid state hard drive for my main drive?

successfully play starwars the force unleashed 2 and crysis fluently? i think maybe something is wrong because right now i have everything above except the core 2 duo, i'm running a pentium 4 3.8 ghz beast with the 2 mb cache and 800 mhz front side bus and the starwars game wont even play it get's like 10 fps in sli mode with the 2 graphic cards. i find it hard to believe that the core 2 duo is going to make a heck of a lot of difference but i am hoping because i already ordered it? if this fails i guess i will put it all on ebay and start over with an i7 ddr3 and a crossfire video setup? the 3,8 ghz cpu gets 4.5 on windows 7 x64 does anyone know what a core 2 duo e8400 scores? thanks! :o)

Crysis = 27 frames per second on average! resolution 1280x720 all settings on low!

starwars the force unleashed 2 = 17 fps on average resolution 1280x720 all settings low with only reflections enabled.

when i had one 9500gt card in this system i got near 30 fps in crysis with same settings and i did not test the star wars one, but i play star wars on another pc with a radeon hd5670 and it runs fine! of course that one has a quad core cpu and faster fsb but really that should not matter? i was told very very few games utilize more that one core anyhow? and that the higher ghz cpu would serve me better? if anyone knows of patches or fixes for these games please let me know? thanks! :o)

it has two 6 pin pci xpress connectors, i think it will probably work ok but i want to be sure because i don't won't to fry any of my equipment by not supplying enough power? any help will be appreciated. ps i know a bigger power supply is always better, but i already have the one mentioned above and it's almost new so i don't want to buy another unless i will have to. thanks! :o)

they both have 1gb of video ram ddr2 for the 9500 and ddr5 or the gts450. i tried them both in my hp media center pc with a pentium D 3.0 ghz dual core processor and 3 gb or ddr2 pc4200 ram. and a 7200rpm hard drive. and the 9500 gets 30fps in crysis while the gts450 only gets like 23fps? can anyone explain this? the gts450 has nearly twice the clock speed and memory speed than the 9500 yet it runs slower? any help would be appreciated thank you! :o)

did sony take lessons from microsofts xbox? i really don't want a wii because all the game for little kids and the graphics are no where near as good! do you think sony actually wants your console to quit reading bluray discs?, or have the yellow light of death?, or not be able to complete an update on purpose after a year or so? so you send it in and pay another $150 to get it repaired? consoles are a good idea but the plans for them have been very poorly executed! the gaming experience i've had so far is on my ASUS g73jw laptop! better graphics than ps3 and does not over heat? go figure? :o)

you put it on the neck of your guitar and just push buttons down rather than actually touching the strings? it is a plastic thing! and no it is not a capo! my brother inlaw wants to learn to play guitar but is having a hard time with the strings and one of those things is just what he needs for christmas, but i do not know what they are called or where to get one? please help? thanks! :o)
