I am planning to put in rockford fosgate pps4-6 speakers along with pp4-t (tweeters) to an amp. But would i need a separate amp for the tweeters? or does the amp wire to the cross over and from the crossover to the pps4-6 and the pp4-t?

I'm trying to decide what to do with my future in terms of education, i've narrowed it down between a mechanic and an AUTOMOTIVE engineer, i capitalized automotive because the school i want to go to (University of Ontario Institute of Technology) has a different course for mechanical engineering (from what i understand, mech engineers learn a variety of different stuff while auto engineers learn specifically to automotive). But anyways down to the point, what does an automotive engineer do vs a mechanic? i saw a video of what an engineer does but to me it seemed like he was just a mechanic who worked on high end cars vs the mechanic that works at let's say honda who works on average cars? if someone can clear up the difference for me and just explain to me what an automotive engineer does? (work setting, average salary, job security etc.)

If I am insured as a occasional operator under one of my parents car, am i allowed to drive someone else's car? like lets say my brother who has a different residential address leaves his car at my parents place, can i drive it with his permission? will i be covered under insurance or will that be illegal?

I have an acer aspire and usually it loads up everything really fast and runs pretty smooth, however today I started it up and noticed it took very long to start up, I thought it was just one of those days, but then I tried to open my firefox and it just wouldn't open, till like 5 minutes later when it opened and said its not responding, I closed it and tried to open google chrome, same 5 minute wait to see the same message. My CPU usage was at 0% at idle and at 30% when trying to open chrome and Firefox, usually do a system clean up (remove all unused files for space) along with a de-frag to try to keep it running smooth. Idk what to do nor what the problem is, is it time for a new computer? (only had it for like 1.5-2 years). Now I tried re starting it and its not shutting down, it just says "shutting down" on the screen. (Btw, it says acer aspire 5738-6252 on the computer)

So im currently in high school and i want to have an idea of where im going in the future, ive always wanted to work on cars (tune, rebuild, customize). so far ive been looking into getting into mechanical engineering but i've read that it's quite a hard subject, now i know that the two biggest things are science and math for engineering programs and i have math down pat ( pulled off 90% or more in my last two academic math classes) but its the science i struggle in, i want to go to University of Ontario but they offer select engineer programs, i considered automotive engineer at one point but people tell me its hard to get jobs with that degree as it's very specific. i dont know what course will suit me so that is my question. Also people have told me become an automotive technician (mechanic) but i just feel for where i live they dont make a whole lot of money, i also wanted to minor in business admin as ive always wanted to be a manager, (if someone can give me their opinion on a course that would better help me with a management position?)

This desktop will be for everyday use (browsing, youtubing, and for typing up my school work and the occasional game, however i have a ps3 so gaming on my pc isn't as hardcore). I have a $1500 limit and would like to save as much as i can, i live in canada so amazon.ca or ebay.ca would be the most trusted sites that come to mind for me. If someone can give me a good combo (case, cpu, mobo, gpu, psu, ram chips, hdd etc) that would all fit together. it's not that i don't understand how to build a computer i just have problems understanding if they will fit or not, from what i understand, many cases and mobo's are in atx build, so a case fitted for an atx mobo will work together as will a case for m-atx work with a mobo that is m-atx, but how do i know if a gpu will fit and stuff like that, i understand how to check ram but like the hard drive. Also, i see some cases have slots for multiple drives, are those for optical drives or are they for hdd and ssd? also can i have a hdd and ssd mix or will a mobo only support one type?

So I am looking for a new computer, not too sure if i want a laptop or a desktop but i know i dont travel too much, especially during school time so a desktop wouldn't be a problem. I was looking into a macbook pro for a laptop or an Imac for the desktop, are the Macs really worth the price? I am kind of leaning towards getting a mac because 1. they're less prone to get viruses 2. Facetime 3. Tend to have faster cpu than the windows based computers. I am not too familiar with laptop brands and their reliability so if you could recommend some that i can check out or help me decide between the imac and mackbook pro, personally i'm looking into the imac cause it's cheaper and has better specs, I also want something that can last me a long time in terms of software and durability, the current laptop i have is missing a few buttons and i think it is because of the cheap plastic clips they use to hold them down but i am not sure if thats how all laptops are. the links to the version of the imac and macbook pro i am looking into are:

I am currently 16 and have a g1 licence in Canada, my brother has been trying to teach me how to drive standard on his car but i can not get the car to drive off stable, I either launch the car or I stall it, never stable like i see him do it. In my defense his car is modded, it has a stage 3 racing clutch and its aftermarket turbo charged with other performance hop ups, can that be the reason as to why im having trouble? will i have more luck with a stock slower car? I plan on buying my own car this summer or once i get my g2 with my own money and the last thing i want to do is buy a standard car and not be able to drive it. can i not pull out of first in a stable manner because of the grabby racing clutch or should it not make a difference? note we have been practicing for a week for about an hour a night. If you can give me some tips and tricks or the answer to my question that would be great.

Is there really a difference between these two professions? From what I understand, a mechanical engineer basically designs or works on a specific part (brake,suspension, engine etc.) while an automotive engineer will build a car from prototype to floor room finish. They essentially piece parts together, or they improve upon a design. I am in grade 10 and I am trying to decide which one i want in university, i also want to minor in business administration to one day hopefully own a little mechanic shop, where i can do custom tuning etc. so i figured mechanical engineer would help me more, but idk which one. My goal for when im older is to be able to tune my cars (engine/trans swap, turbo, weight reduction etc.) so which one will help me more?

So i've been in a relationship with this girl for about 7-8 months now, for the past two months she's just been extra clingy, IMO though. Like now when i play video games she gets mad and doesn't stop bothering me, but we used to talk alot before we dated so she knew thats how i was, also if i go out she gets mad because i dont text her enough,she doesnt want me going out of the country to see my family because she wont get to talk to me, she doesnt like me doing anything without her or going anywhere with out her, i have to call her on the weekends even though we agreed it would be my alone time. time to be by myself, i dont know if im just a bad boyfriend and i dont spend enough time with her which i try to do because i constantly ask to hang out with her in person as i dont like the phone call / texting thing, or if shes just too clingy

I currently have an RCA rs 2642 which is a 2 channel 250 watt receiver, the speakers with this receiver are amazing I just want to upgrade receiver. Something with an input for a subwoofer, 2.1 channel or 2 channel with sub LFE input, i currently have $100 give and take to spend on a receiver so if you guys could drop some suggestions for receivers, and how much they cost. I was thinking of selling my current RCA receiver to help pay for the new one as the only things wrong are the display is kind of faded, the cd changer gets jammed every time but you just give it a little push and it will come out and for some reason one side speaker stops working in cd mode but since I play music through my ipod it doesnt effect me, also it has f.m radio which is pretty nice

I currently live in Canada and i am soon to graduate from highschool, i plan on getting a bachelors degree in mechanical engeering but i'm just curious as to how the classes work, for example, i plan on taking the mechanical engeering course to get a bachelors degree but will i just have one class mon-fri or will it be like highschool where i show up from 8am to 3pm and have various classes throughout the day?

I am actually asking for my girlfriend. She is currently 15 and shes having a late period, going onto about being 2 weeks late. Now, i realize that she is still growing and i have read that as a girl grows into an adult her cycle will change? idk im only a guy :p if someone can please explain to me what might be happening? she also seems to have tummy cramps, we did have sex once and did not use protection however i did pull out way way before ejaculation however we still fear pregnancy, i have also read around that there is a slim chance of pregnancy and given the fact that i pulled out way before ejaculation that doesnt seem to pop up in my mind but she thinks differently. Can someone maybe with a similar experience please help? And yes we have come to realize how stupid of us that was and we plan on not doing it again, lesson learned :p

ok so im currently in grade 9 and i plan on going into business after i graduate, looking at either management or ownership i guess... i essentially want to run my own business. now i need to know what courses i need to take throughout high school and college or university.. is it better to go to university?

this is a toy that has to be created for my science project(grade 8.) the requirements are...:1. simple

2.homemade(from household items, try to stay away from buying things)

3.for children (no fire, explosions)

4.has to use a principle of fluids ( hydraulics, aerodynamics)

5. has to work... my original idea was a pop pop boat or a steam engine boat but then my teacher burst my bubble by telling me "child friendly"(no fire). so all my planning has gone to waste and now its do within 2 weeks (with a write up on it). i just need some ideas... tried google...for once it didn`t help at all.

Alright, so i finally turned 13 and now i want to earn a little extra spending money. I was wondering what are some jobs or services that i can have without having to deal with animals ( dog walking, pet sitting eg.) or mowing the lawn because i HATE mowing lawns.

ok, so me and this girl sit in class together, the desk is made for 2 people, she chooses to sit opposite me. sometimes without me even realizing it her legs will be touching mine and she won't move it so i'm guessing it wasn't an accident. sometimes i would be sitting with my legs stretched out and she would put hers in the middle(not too close), we've known each other for couple years now and we flirt around a few times, she doesn't seem to mind telling me about her problems so does this mean anything special or does she just feel comfortable with me?

okay so i bought a exceed ultra from an online store, i've heard that these are not the best brand. when i try to mesh the gears with the paper trick the center gear spins to the left and the clutch bell spins to the right when i rotate the back wheels, also my stupid dog bone popped out and now its like hell to put it back in could someone help, im new to the hobby and tell me which way the gears are supposed to spin or am i rotating the wheels wrong
