we have been fighting off and on since friday, he says that he cares, but i'm not sure if he really does. we were out with our friends and kim got pissed at wayne, so she left and walked down the street to another bar. my husband and wayne were outside and my husband was telling wayne to go after her. so i looked at my hubby and told him, why you wouldn't come after me, would you? and he said probably not. so why would he tell wayne to go but yet he wouldn't if i left? you know just once i want him to say, please don't go, please stay, or come after me, just once. in all our married years, NOT ONCE. are there any other men who say they care, but then don't act like it when push comes to shove? please be nice, i'm in a very vulnerable state right now and i don't think i can handle any more cruelty.

the question is, i totally agree with abstinence, HOWEVER, if a teenager is going to have sex, shouldn't the parents (teachers) be responsible to the teenagers to teach them birth control (even HOW to use a condom?) instead of hoping/thinking "if my kid has sex, they know to use a condom", is this true? or am i just showing my age to think that the parents should take responsibility?
