  • Those familiar with Webex...?

Why do my Webex meetings "close" about 5 minutes into meeting -- causing me to "approve" of those waiting to join? I want meeting opened the entire time, and of someone is 30 min late, no problem as I want them automatically joined.

  • Aspire 6530 Laptop questions?

I've got an old Aspire 6530 Laptop with VISTA on it. Not much good anymore, except playing games. Came packed with Putt mania, Rise of Atlantis, Heroes of Hellas, etc.

No support whatsoever any more for any of these -- so my question is:

Anybody know how I can get around the passwords for these games and play them? Can't believe at this point the originally manufacturer cares -- and so -- any help/suggestions? Thanks!

  • Who knows this word?

I can't think of the correct word. I know it's not the word for chicken, but here's an example so you can help me find the right word:

"He sold his car for a poultry ten dollars!"

    Thanks!

  • Help with a velocity problem?

If a ball is thrown up into the air from 1 meter above the ground and reaches a height of 35 meters, assuming air resistance is zero, what is the balls velocity when it hits the ground?

Note that this is not a trick question. Simply means the ball goes up 34m and then goes down 35m.

Plus, if you answer, as some did the first time I posted this: Just use v^2 = 2gh ---- please explain or better yet, work it out as I don't know what this formula means, etc.

    Thanks!

  • Avatar question?

I know this is not a math question but I figured someone here would still know the answer.

How do I change my Avatar? As you can see it's just the default silhouette. I wanted to replace it with a picture of my dog, but when I go to Account and click Edit Profile, all I ever get is: Server Not Found.

    Any answers or suggestions?

    Thanks!

  • How to set this up?

A company produces cassette tapes at .40 each plus a fee of $10,000. If the cassette tapes sell for $2.00, how many must be sold for the company to realize a profit?

    I thought it should be:

    2.00 ≥ .40x - 10,000

Is that correct? Meaning they have to sell at least 25,005 to make a profit.

Did I do this right? Thanks!

  • No one can answer this!?

An airplane is flying with an airspeed of 290 km/hr at a heading of 42 degrees south of west while experiencing a 28 km/hr wind directed to the east. What is the velocity and direction of the airplane observed from the ground? Give your answer for velocity in km/hr and your answer for direction in compass coordinates.

And show all steps or it doesn't count! :)
