Hello lovely people!

I know this is practically begging, but it is Christmas time and we all need a bit of Christmas Cheer.

I made the top five of this Dick Smith competition (which is amazing in itself) but now whoever gets the most votes wins. I have until Monday 9am and you can vote every hour.

I have always wanted a Nikon and I am a Youtuber and avid photographer.. I will literally never get an opportunity like this again and I would literally faint if I won haha.

My Christmas tree is the one made out of polaroids, I did it because it pictures for a camera comp and my year of memories :)

Hey all,

I have auditioned for so many talent shows and just always felt so disheartened by it all..

I'm trying out for factor australia next weekend and wondering if its really worth it, my friends, members of the public etc.. tell me 'I'm good' but I'm starting to think thats not good enough for those kind of shows.

Any opinions? So stuck with what to do!

My older brother is an English student studying online/away from uni (we live in Australia) however he is taking his degree with the University of London - School Of Economic.

He is wanting to study his masters in the US. However, to apply for Unis in America you have to prove you have the money in your bank when applying, before a certain date. In his case, May.

Does anyone know of any scholarships that are offered by the government (UK) for students to study overseas? Even though he currently resides in Australia, I still feel he wills till be entitled to any English help because he is an English citizen studying with an English uni, am I right?

I hope this makes sense and thanks for your help. I would really like him to achieve his dreams!

Okay, so I'm a musician and singer/songwriter (I use that term very loosely) haha.

I literally just wrote a song in 5 mins, it just came to me and I had to write it down. The way that I write songs is to write the lyrics and tune/melody at the same time. So I wrote down the lyrics and recorded myself singing the tune so that I would remember it.

The problem is, is that now I can't play the song on my guitar, because I can't figure out what chords to play along with my melody. As normally a song doesn't come to me so quickly, I normally work out the chords and then the tune. But seeing as I already had the tune figured out in my head.. I now have no chords. (Does this make sense?).

Can anyone suggest a way I can match chords (guitar) with the melody I have in my head? I know I can do it by ear but I have only been playing guitar for a short time and I'm not that advanced, I only really know basic chords etc..

I have a pitch perfect ear.. I'm just not very good at knowing what notes I am singing (terrible at sight singing!! haha).

I have a ST550, its not that old and I have barely used it. However, it suddenly stopped focusing, does anyone know why this may be? Nothing was done to it. It just doesn't focus or take clear pictures anymore.

I'm really annoyed because I've been waiting for ages for instragram to come out on android and it doesn't work on my HTC wildfire! Is this the same for everyone with wildfires? Any ways around it?

I'm a partner (obviously) and I uploaded a new video last night and uploaded a custom thumbnail for it. It says everything is saved etc.. and it shows up on youtube. However when I post the link on my Facebook music page it doesn't show the custom thumbnail.. just the generic one. Help? Anyone know whats going on?

I have just emigrated to Oz and my guitar broke during the process, I have only had it 2 years and its beautiful and would really like to get the same rather than a different one. Its a Washburn Electro-Acoustic in light blue which is a rare colour to find apparently and my parents can't remember what website they bought it off! I would very much appreciate any links if you know where I could purchase one!

The top of the neck has literally been ripped off, the rest of the guitar doesn't have a single scratch on and it was in a hard case which makes me wonder how that happened?

Could this be repaired? Would the acoustics sound the same? And how much do you think it would cost?

People have recommended I upload my youtube videos in HD.

I have a camera that films in HD, I bought it specifically for that reason but I edit my videos on Imovie to cut out the bits at the start and at the end- for example, switching on the camera, switching it off, etc.. Anyway, when I save it on Imovie, and upload it onto youtube, in then does not upload in HD?! But if I upload it straight off my camera onto youtube it uploads in HD but with silly extra bits on the video where I haven't edited it, so its a no win situation ha. Does anyone have any suggestions at all? Thanks for your help!
