To all the lawyers out there, help please?
So, I'm only 14, but I know that I want to be a criminal lawyer. I would really like to work for the Special Victim's Unit, but everything that I've looked up tell me that I would have to be a detective for the SVU, which would mean that I have to be a police officer for 5 years. I don't want to be a detective, I want to be a lawyer. I would like to be a prosecutor. Please tell me the whole process of becoming a lawyer for criminal cases, and if it is possible for me to be a prosecutor just for the SVU. Thanks so much!
