So there’s this girl I used to work with, who has a crush on me. I feel like I might like her, too. But here’s the thing, she’s got a 9-month-old baby and is in a relationship. The guy that she’s in a relationship is an abusive sub-human piece of crap who has hit her in the past and she even showed up to work with a black eye one day. He also cheats on her and she knows it. She can do so much better than him. Like I said earlier, she likes me and I think I might like her too, but I  don’t know if I’m ready to be a stepdad or if I want to potentially deal with any drama that may stem from this. Thoughts?

Alright, so I recently switched from rhythm guitar over to bass in my band, and I feel like I need a new bass amp because the one I have is pretty lackluster, as it’s just a 15-watt practice amp with an 8” speaker. I’m looking for an amp that can work for practicing at home and jamming/gigging with my band; which besides me, consists of 2 guitarists (one of them is our singer), and a drummer. I feel like I’d want one with a 1x15” or 2x10” speaker configuration, and having an overdrive channel would be a plus (although I could always just use a pedal if needed.) And if any of this info helps: my band’s sound is primarily influenced by classic heavy metal (i.e. Pantera, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Motörhead, Van Halen, etc.) and grunge/heavy alt-rock (Alice In Chains, Soungarden, Seether, Deftones, Tool, etc.), and my budget is no more than $900. If you guys have any recommendations, please tell me.

I drive a 2000 Nissan Frontier XE King Cab, and I'm considering getting a camper top for it, so what are some good places I could look for one?

I know a guy that's 18, and his girlfriend is 14. I was wondering if there are any laws against that, because he is legally an adult and she is a minor that is under the age of consent. I do know that if they have sex (which might happen), he could be charged with statutory rape

Naturally, I feel like I'm more of a rhythm guitarist, but I really want to improve my lead playing. I have the basic idea for it, but I feel like whenever I try to come up with solos and lead lines, they always sound like nonsense and like I'm just running up and down scales. And I feel like I use the pentatonic scale a bit too much. Any suggestions for how to improve?

So I have a dog, she's 8 months old, and me and my family have had her since May. She has lately developed a habit of acting agressive and/or hostile towards visitors that come to our house by barking and growling at them. She didn't do this during the first few months we had her. I have no idea why she does it, does anyone have any insight as to why she does this and a good way to get her to break this habit?

I honestly find this kinda ridiculous, because both of those bands have the qualities that most metal bands have: heavy-sounding drop-tuned guitars, double bass drums, and screaming vocals. I have they have the qualities of most metal bands, what exactly makes them "not real metal"? And what exactly is "real metal" anyway? From what I've seen, the people who say things like this don't understand that there's more to heavy metal than bands like Metallica and Iron Maiden

I play in a band, and I was wondering if any of you guys had cover song suggestions. We are an alternative band with a good bit of metal and punk influences. I consider us kind of a hybrid of bands like Disturbed, Seether, and Bad Religion. Any suggestions? (Serious answers only, and please don't respond with generic rock songs that just about every average cover band plays, like Seven Nation Army or Smells Like Teen Spirit)

I'm asking this because my Spanish teacher does it all the time. She's from Spain, and she slurs those letters in certain Spanish words (such as cinco, gracias, hacer, almuerzo, etc.) and I swear she doesn't have a lisp or anything like that. I'm curious to know about, is it just a common thing that people from Spain do?

So, I recently downloaded some songs from the album "Phobia" by Breaking Benjamin onto my iTunes, and the songs are all out of order. The song order should be 1-2-3-4, but instead is 1-3-4-2 for some reason. This has happened to me before, and the songs eventually get into the right order after a couple of days, but I would like to know what could be causing this

I'm trying to convince my mom to let me get an ear piercing, but she doesn't seem to be completely on board with the idea. I've told her that me having an ear piercing isn't gonna change who I am as a person, I would pay for it myself, I would only get one ear pierced, and that I wouldn't get giant gauges or anything like that. I don't understand why she seems to be so against it, it's not like I'd be getting a tattoo (although I do want some when I'm older, but that's irrelevant). Whenever I bring it up, she always shuts me down, and never really listens to me. How can I get her to hear me out and convince her to let me get my ear pierced?

I see this all the time. People think it's "racist" to criticize Islam, but Islam is not a race, that's like saying it's racist to criticize Christianity. Not all muslims are from the Middle East, there are black muslims, Asian muslims, even white muslims. Islam isn't made up of only one race, so therefore you can't say it's racist to criticize it

I get random headaches pretty often, and they can range from very minor to ones that hurt really bad. Normally, they go away and I feel fine, but is it normal to get random headaches?

I'm 15, and for some reason I have a somewhat irrational fear of death. I feel like I'm way too young to worry about dying. Any suggestions on how to get over this fear?

You see, my hair is naturally black, and I dyed it blonde. My natural hair is coming back in, but there's still a fair amount of blonde left over. I'm starting to get sick of the blonde, and I'm wondering if there's a way to get the blonde out without cutting my hair, because if I were to cut all the blonde off, my hair would be way too short (in my opinion at least). Anything helps.

I'm starting to write guitar riffs in Drop B, and I think I might need to use some thicker strings for that. I'm thinking something along the lines of Ernie Ball Beefy Slinkys (gauges 11-54) or Not Even Slinkys (12-56), but do you guys have any suggestions?

I've noticed that on a lot of CDs from the early to mid 1990's that have the label, it says "Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics", but since like 1997, the label is now "Parental Advisory: Explicit Content." I'm curious as to why they changed it, does anyone know?

So, there s this kid in my chemistry class who is a total asshole. He picks on me and harasses me for no reason, and it seems like he goes out of his way to piss me off and **** up my day. I really want him to stop, but I m not sure how to deal with it. Any suggestions?

I used to be a Christian, but now I'm agnostic/atheist. A few of my family members (my parents and 2 of my cousins) and my close friends know this about me already, and they don't have a problem with it. However, a lot of my family members (particularly on my dad's side) are overtly religious and are practically fundamentalist Christians. Whenever one of them brings up religion when they're talking to me, I always try my best to change the subject, but I have a feeling that one day I may not be able to successfully change the subject and I'd have to tell them my true beliefs about religion. Any advice for what to do when (or if) that day comes where I have to tell them?
