2 AnswersDrama6 years agoHow to get picked as a JUROR?
i am going im tomorrow.
should i weat a suit and a tie?
i know its an American cliché to hate jury duty, but as a 19 year old i feel it may help me pursue a career in Law. i may like it and decide to become a lawyer perhaps. also its summer, out of school and Jury Duty seems fun?
so the question is. What can I do to ensure a place in the Official Jury. and even become a Foreman? :)
any anecdotal references will help too(:

Is love at first sight possible?
let me give you a little back story. my grandma had a mentalbreak down a week ago and is now at a mental hospital for chemical dependancy.
i went with my mom and grandfather. (im 19 years old)
we met up with her in the cafeteria downstairs where she was sitting with other patients. after 10 min a seat opens up next to me and out of the corner of my eye a girl takes a seat. i turn my head and i swear this girl is the most beautiful girl ive seen. she has striking eyebrows and the prettiest hair. she was stunning.
i said hi, and we talked a little. she told me she was 19 years as well and she was on the same wing as my grandma. she was so sweet and amazing.
she said she was admitted because she has a dependancy on Ativan. she has bad anxiety and depression.
so later, after we ate, me and my gramma were sitting outside in the garden. she walked past me and my gramma asked what she was up too. she said 'ill show you'
so she took us to this pretty koi pond/garden that is in the facility. it was like she was trying to get to know me more. after we looked at the fish she said that she was heading up. but she lingered a little
she was smiling at me and i just couldnt look away. i never felt so connected to anyone
we both have been admitted to the same mental hospital, me being two months ago for Xanax abuse, we are 19 and we both have baad anxiety and depression.
so should i visit gramma again and bring her flowers and get her number?

i personally love his no holds barred sense of comedy. the playful racism and playful misogyny is refreshing and i really find it funny.
my personal opinion. what do you think?

okay so today my boss pulls me aside and gives me the ol'
'hi michael, so... i love all the organisation ,and how neatly you keep your desk. its nice to see you take pride in your work.... HOWEVER, it can be a waste of time organising and cleaning all day."
it diddnt go exactly like that. but im summarising. why do some bosses speak using a compliment sandwich.i prefer just comming up to me and say "michael stop being so ocd'
does anyone else feel the same abot this style? it just makes the compliments feel insencere, and when i hear the whole shpeal its like im waiting for the 'But, or However, or With That In Mind... crap.
so the question being. What do you feel about this approach or critisism.
also please dont judge my grammar. im sitting in a hot tub, typing with my old mp3 player lol.
