I just need opinions. Some facts here and there. Some advice. I'm kind of on the younger side of life. I am a deep thinker when I want to be. I am also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. or in other words a mormon. I look forward to answering and asking questions here!:)

  • People with neuromas in feet, please answer?

What kind of shoes do you wear and why? I've tried wearing toms knockoffs and I think it may be too crowded wearing insoles and cushions. Pictures would help too, just trying to figure out the best shoes to facilitate a bunion, neuromas, orthotics and maybe metatarsal cushions. Any information at all would help, thanks!

Also as far as options for dealing with this, has anyone gotten cuts or taken the nerves out or killed them? What happens, how would I know if that's a good option for me?

  • Taking Math in College?

I am taking AP Calculus as a highschool student, but I found it to be more difficult and time consuming than expected. I dropped out of the class and started taking it online. I'm behind and it will take a lot of effort to get back to where I need to be in order to join the review class before the test. Is it worth it to go through lots of stress in cramming information and risk not passing the test? Or should I just drop the review class and earn 3 more college credits through enrollment in other classes. I plan to get my associates degree before graduating highschool. I don't plan on majoring in anything to do with higher level math. How many majors in a general area will require me to have more than Math 1050 and 1060 credits?

  • TI-83 Plus Question on graph setting?

  • For 3-10 seconds my vision will get clouded and I will feel lightheaded?

What exactly is this? I've heard of it referred to as bloopers before. But basically, my vision gets clouded over with black and I can't see through it for usually around 4 seconds. This leaves me feeling lightheaded and it doesn't go away for another 5 minutes atleast. I used to think it was lack of sleep, but after having more than 9 hours of sleep I still got one. So then I thought stress, but I remember having one (first one i believe six years ago) when I can't recall any stress whatsoever. Is there a real term for this? does anyone know what causes it, or what t entails? Thanks

  • Transportation from Newark, NJ airport to Bethlehem, PA?

I'll be flying into the Newark New Jersey Airport at 7:38pm with my two younger siblings (14 and 12). The transportation (Trans-Bridge Lines from the Airport) that we were counting on sends out a bus at 7:30...we miss it...and the next one is at 9:45. We need to take the bus to Bethlehem, Pennsylvania where we'll be picked up. Is there a quicker way to get from Newark to Bethlehem or even Allentown would be better? I really don't want to ask anyone to drive. My brother who would pick us up will be working the night shift so..that's not an option any more. Any cheap suggestions?

  • How do I get a BYU Ballroom Dance Scholarship?

Online it has applications and things to fill out, so I know I can do that. But at the actual competitions they recognize the winners, is that something else entirely? Can I get a dance scholarship just from competing and placing? How would I go about doing that?

  • What material is best for a competitive ballroom standard dance dress?

My family knows how to make great intricate dresses, but they know little about competitive ballroom dancing. What kind of material do I tell them to use? And where should I look for patterns? (I'm doing standard and smooth, so the long flowy style is what I need)

  • Would you please help edit my essay?

    Thanks so much!!

I firmly believe that I, _____-________, deserve this scholarship. As a dedicated student, I would be able to make the most of this scholarship as well as my education. My goal in life is to make something of myself. Those who know me, know that I am not one to give up on my goals. Not only is this evident in my grades, it is also evident in the choices I’ve made, and experiences that I have had. I’ve already participated in Symphonic, Jazz, and Marching Band. I have loved singing in school choirs, acting in school plays, and performing in an annual talent show. For five consecutive years I had been a faithful cheerleader, and for my sixth year, I assistant coached my middle school’s 130 lb squad. These organizations have taught me the confidence to be myself I chose to work hard not only for me, but for the team. Great friendships have come from my involvement in these programs. Speech and Debate has been among my favorite clubs. Mainly because in this club I was able to learn from my peers. As we studied topics that were considered ‘too heavy’ for teenagers, we bonded together and learned to respect and encourage each other in our strivings for knowledge and vocal eloquency. Key Club and SADD have inspired me to always look for ways to make the world a better place. Whether it be making posters to alert teens about drinking and driving; or raising money for adolescents in Uraguay, I have always enjoyed the optimism for making a difference that these clubs inspire. My true inspiration has come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Many of my volunteer activities have come from my involvement in my religion. Serving in leadership responsibilities, performing musically numerous times, and even writing and directing a play for my church I have been shaped into the person I am today. I have gained courage from all these experiences. This scholarship will allow me to explore, contribute, learn and grow as a college student. Because I know that I can make the most of this scholarship, I deserve it.

  • Those who can edit (punctuation especially) will you edit my short essay?

I'm unsure about my punctuation especially, but any other help woult be appreciated too.

I, ______ -_______, deserve this scholarship. As a dedicated student, I would be able to make the most of this scholarship by making the most of my education. My goal in life is to make something of myself. Not only is this evident in my grades, it is also evident in the choices I have made, and experiences I have had. Performing in many different clubs and organizations have given me the confidence to be myself. After years of practice and training, I remember the first time I performed a piano piece I had altered, or presented original choreography to coaches and friends. My nerves have learned to calm, and I in turn have learned how to portray myself and my ideas in a clear and concise manner. Speech and Debate has been among my favorite clubs. Mainly because in this club I was able to learn from my peers. Being open to new ideas and embracing different types of thought processes has greatly strengthened me in my ability to respect, understand, and be empathetic to those around me. My true inspiration has come from being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Volunteering in leadership positions, performing, and even directing performances; I have been shaped into the confident and enthusiastic person I am today. • Teachers: Do you take personal offense when a student skips your class?

Even if it's one of those relaxing slow days? Or if you're showing a movie without expecting any work done on it?

As a student I was very surprised when a substitute teacher who was showing a slightly related to dance Christmas movie mentioned that she was hurt by my not wishing to stay for the class. Do other teachers feel the same?
