How do I deal with my pain and anger and loneliness?
I am a single, separated dad with my 2 kids. My 14 year marriage came to a very abrupt and very ugly nasty bipolar alcoholic adulterous end. My kids are the only thing that have kept me alive through all this. I never cheated and always tried my very best to be a good husband and father. I dont know how to deal with my pain and anger and I feel so alone. How do I get through this? Will things ever get better? Everyone says that time heals all but it hurts like it was yesterday. I need help.

6 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoI am recently separated. Should I remain faithful?
I've been married for 14 years and have been completely in love and faithful the entire time. I did not want a separation, I really wanted a chance to work on the problems. It has all been the most painful thing I have ever been through. I am fairly sure that my wife is not screwing around either, but also understand that I could be sorely mistaken. I am so miserable. The pain is indescribable. I have no idea how things might work out. It is all I can do to take my next breath. Every day, every hour, every minute is complete and total pain and misery. I miss my kids and want to go home but will not until she is ready to meet me part of the way at least and try to work on things. I met a woman going through a similar situation. She wants to have wild sex with no strings to make us both feel a little better. What do you think I should do?

How do you deal with the pain?
I've been married for 14 years and madly in love with my wife. We have 2 beautiful children and I thought we had a pretty good marriage. I've never cheated, have always tried to be a good husband and father, and have worked long hard hours to try to improve our lives. Then one day in February, out of the blue, in a drunken rage, she tells me that she is not in love with me anymore, hasn't been in years, wants a separation, wants out of the marriage. I quit my second job, lost 30 lbs, and spent every possible minute with my family and tried to figure out how to fix what was broken. My efforts since February have not only not worked, but seem to have driven her farther away. Last night, on a date, she told me that a divorce is inevitable and I completely lost my mind and packed up and left. She will only tell me that she needs space to find herself and it looks like we are separating. I have never experienced pain like this. My question is, how do you

4 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoSo my wife made me leave last night and she wants a separation and won't tell me why...?
I am an old-fashioned family loving guy and have been married for 14 years. I love my two kids more than anything in the world and have worked extremely hard to make life better for them. I recently found out that my spouse had been doing speed for several years and more recently has become a drunk. Around valentine's day, in a drunken tirade, she told me that she was self medicating because she wasn't in love with me anymore and hasn't been in years and she wanted a separation and she wanted out of the marriage. Although she had grown cold, this was the first time she actually communicated how she felt. I immediately quit my second job, lost 30 lbs, became more involved with the kids and started working extremely hard to figure out what had gone wrong and how to fix it. Keep in mind that I have been extremely in love with this woman for 15 years and would die for her. I can't get her to talk about it and she will only tell me that she needs a million miles of space.
9 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoCan God save my marriage and my family?
I am a spiritual person but not a church goer. I went to a revival this week and the roof actually did not cave in on me. I actually enjoyed it and was moved.
I am praying for a miracle in my marriage. Do you think it might work?
22 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowife is flipping out on me after 14 years about old problems. i think she is suffering from depression.?
My wife and I got married 14 years ago. I was working as a marine biologist and wasn't making much money. I had to have help from my parents at first just to make the rent. I decided to try something different and we moved so I could go to engineering school. I moved her away from her family. We had a child and moved again, another child and moved again, and moved again always trying to get a better job and do better for my family. However, in all of this moving and trying to make bigger bucks and chasing rainbows, I didn't take into account the emotional damage I was doing by keeping her away from her mother and sisters. I continually looked for a job near them but was unsuccessful. We started having money problems about 5 years ago even though I was making pretty good money. I found out that we didn't have money because she was spending it all on "substance abuse" - and later alcohol to dull her pain... Her family moved to our town after Katrina. Now she is hating me...
10 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoIs religion a form of terrorism?
I am a spiritual person, but I believe that religion is man-made and is inherently corrupt. It has caused wars, bloodshed, corruption, murder, and child molestation since its inception. Would we not do better with religious anarchy where everyone is allowed to be spiritual in their own way? How can some religions claim to be the only way to heaven? How do they know?
19 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoIs anyone else happy with and proud of their marriage?
I've been married 13 1/2 years to a woman that has gotten more beautiful and sexier every day. We have 2 great kids, have love and respect for one another, make hot delicious love to eachother, and have never cheated. Yes, we have problems, but we work on them and try to make eachother happy and try to put the other person first instead of being self-absorbed.
Does anyone else feel lucky to have their spouse? Is anyone else happy in their relationship? Does anyone else expect to live happily ever after?
19 AnswersMarriage & Divorce1 decade agoWhat is the point of having royalty? Couldn't all of that tax money be put to better use for society?
What is the point in this day in age? Why keep up these people in overly lavish surroundings? They seem to have no function whatsoever. What is the cost and what is the benefit of royalty and does it make any sense in this day and age? What is the point of keeping them up like a kennel of inbred show dogs? Wouldn't it make sense to kick them out of the palaces and use all those resources to make life better for the "common" people? What is the point of military training for a prince if he will not be allowed to serve in combat with his unit? Wouldn't he be that much more respected later in life if he went with his unit - like all the other lads have to do?

13 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agoMarried sex... in the mood... or not...?
My wife and I have great sex... at least when it happens. It is extremely challenging to get her in the mood, but when she finally is, it is really good - for both of us. In fact, it is all I think about... I think I've tried about everything, but would anyone have any creative suggestions about being more successful in initiating some lovin with the little lady?
