  • Should I upgrade to a 144hz monitor?

I am currently running a GeForce GTX 258 2gig video card. Will this be able to provide the fps necessary to make upgrading from a 60hz monitor to 144hz worth it?

  • My daughter doesn't like her name?

My daughter Marie, has been expressing to me lately that she is unhappy with the name her mom and myself gave her. We named her Marie Callenders Ross. We decided on this because my wife and I are such avid fans of the restaurant and have been forever. Is this a cruel thing we did? I don't see what she's complaining about honestly, she gets free food every tuesday/saturday night when we go there and I think the name is very beautiful.

  • Yahoo Answers is really disappointing..?

They used to tolerate people's wildest and most creative questions, now they wont let anything the least bit informal fly for over a minute before getting removed. Where's the fun in that? And why are people so intent on finding and flagging other peoples' questions?

And how long will it be before this question is removed???

  • Help with Andre Nickatina lyrics?

I can't seem to find all the lyrics to the song "Drug Luv". The first half of the lyrics are on this one site, and I can't find any other site with them.

I'm really just curious what he say before "like Magic Johnson in his prime" but I want the whole second verse.

    What do you think?

  • Why do I get so pissed off when I'm hungry?

If I don't eat for a long time, people start to anger me so much more than usual. I get very irritable, irrational, and sometimes even violent for no reason whatsoever. And of course, once I eat something, it's like the weight is lifted off my chest and I'm all good again. (usually apologetic) Why does lack of food cause so much stress?

  • Very strange/random beeping PLEASE READ?

    I have this problem.

My room is set up so my bed is directly next to my PC. (My head is right next to it)

Whenever I lay there and it is quiet, i hear this very faint, (not so faint in total silence) beeping.

It comes in about one second intervals and lasts for about a second.

It Is so quiet that if I lay with my head at the foot of the bed, I cannot hear it. (So that is what I do)

I can only assume that it is coming from my PC even though I turn it off at night and the beeping doesn't stop.

I have checked my speakers and literally put my head inside my Tower to see if the beeping gets louder and it never does. So I don't think it's coming from the computer.

This shi*t is driving me crazy and it keeps me awake.

I can't hear it now, because the actual sound of my desktop running masks the beeping. Plus I'm watching the world series..

So I can only hear this sound when I'm trying to sleep, and I don't out rule the idea it could just be my mind playing tricks on me, but there's no way, that beeping is there and it's driving me crazy.

    Anyone have a similar problem????

  • Any experienced criminals?? please help ?

So about 20 minutes ago I walked in my joys and some random dude was looking through my living room. Being a trained boxer I beat the holy hell out of him and he's knocked out. He has over 1000 dollars on him, so how can I get away with keeping this money? I don't want to call police as I can handle this alone.

( remember he knows where I live now)

  • How to cut my weight?

Not for a fight but to change my base weight. My trainer is suggesting I move down to 175-180 to fight at.

    I am naturally big framed, 6'4" 195lb.

I have always walked around at over 200 and never been under 190.

While I have a lot of time, how can I gradually change my size??

  • How do we monitor sleep?

Now I know it is suggested that we get 8 hours of sleep per night (average). MY question is, When you begin to have sleeping irregularity (whether lack or excess of) , does the body have an internal sleep clock that knows it's behind or ahead x amount of time? Can you catch up by either "hibernating" or staying up a whole day?
