  • Apple trees?

How long until i get shade.... I brought them home today from a nursery, they are 5 from base of trunk to top...

They ll be 15-30 tall full grown... Production is nice but i really want the shade to help my grass which is hard to grow in full sun where i live. I know people who have apples near by and they fare well here.

I m also using fertilizer spikes to aid in growth.

I planned with 50-50 organic soil and native soil.

I m watering daily they have small reservoirs to keep water at the roots for now.

    Thanx in advance.

  • 36 weeks pregnant facial swelling?

I'm 36 + 2 and woke up yesterday with the bridge of my nose feeling tender like it's bruised but I never bumped it or hit it on anything. Today it's swollen in each side but no actual physical bruising or reason for the tenderness.

My hands and feet have been swelling on and off as well.

This is my third kid and I've never experienced swelling unless I was in active labor, I know this doesn't mean labor but I'm just expressing that I've heard it's a common late pregnancy symptom I've never experienced before.

Anybody else experience this, is it just water retention or should I be concerned....

I'll go get checked if needed. I did drop last week baby is engaged, I've been having contractions nothing I'd be concerned about, loss of appetite, loose stools-diarrhea and started shivering and vomiting late last night.

Just including everything I'm experiencing in case the information is needed I don't think I'm in labor but my other two have been totally different from each other that I wouldn't really know if this is cause for concern. My appointment is Friday but if I need to be seen sooner I'll go get checked. Do these symptoms merit a call to my provider?

  • dog potty training question?

My dog is mostly house broken....

However anytime my husband handles get like putting her in her kennel, bringing her in from outside, etc ... she'll go potty in the house or kennel.

When I bring her in she doesn't, my husband hasn't done anything to her but she was a rescue (8 mths old now) she doesn't show fear or anxiety towards men and she is spayed, but she only does this with him. We've tried everything but can't seem to work this problem out, I can't be the only one to work with her I'm not home all the time we work opposite shifts.

He's done leash training with her etc and she'll still having issues, any advice...

  • 32 weeks pregnant with third baby and...?

I've never experienced this with my other two, it could be because this pregnancy I developed anemia, but I don't know...

I have an appointment tomorrow morning with my doctor first thing so I'm definitely asking him about it tomorrow, just curious if anybody else experienced this.

Today when I woke up I hadn't even crawled out of bed yet and I was extremely dizzy, like when to the point that the room felt like it was spinning. I was throwing up until I dry heaved and couldn't even keep a sip of water down. This happened to me about the days ago too while sitting on my couch. I've been taking my iron, my vitamins and I drink ALOT of water so I know it's not dehydration. I always am sipping on ice water, even when I'm out and about. I didn't do anything to strain myself this last week either.

I know dizziness is normal but this was bad enough I'm afraid to drive because it comes with no warning and takes almost a day to recover from!

Just curious if anybody else experienced this and if they found the cause of it, if any. Like I said I'm going to see my doctor first thing in the morning, so I will get professional medical advisory on it. In the mean time I would like to hear what others might have to say about it.

  • Chihuahua sheds alot, how to reduce shedding.?

I brought home a 7 month old Chihuahua, she's had her vet check, shots, spayed, etc....

I'm also feeding her a grain free formula, her food is all real ingredients, it's for small breeds, it's a salmon and pea recipe for puppies and seniors.

I brush her once a week

It's been almost a month and she isn't stressed

    She gets purified water

    She's kept indoors

I was recommended by a friend to feed her one egg a week to help reduce shedding as well with no butter or grease just plain scrambled egg.

Maybe she just needs more time to adjust, I was curious how we can help reduce her shedding better, she was a rescue and I've owned Chihuahuas before she isn't a mix breed, she's about 4.5 lbs so she's tiny not underweight. She's also regular when it comes to potty time.

    All suggestions welcome....

Oh and I just found out about vita-coat vitamins to improve skin and coat, haven't had a chance to run to pet smart to look for it yet.

  • follow up ultrasound at 26wks?

I got called by my practitioners office, by a medical assistant not my physician that they want to schedule a follow up ultrasound in 6 weeks.

I had my 20 week ultrasound yesterday and the technician spent 45 minutes getting alot of images. She said everything looked good, then I went in for a follow up with my physician and he said it all looked good. Today they want to schedule another one and when I asked why and if I should be concerned the lady said, 'no, I guess the lab just didn't get all the images they wanted.'

Which their lab is really picky, that's what the first ultrasound tech we had for the 13wk scan, however I've never been called back in for another ultrasound after 20wks before and this is my third kid. Has this happened to anybody else, I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow and seeing if I can get a hold of him to find out more information just to ease my mind.

Any experiences are welcome and if there are any medical assistants or nurses would they have not told me if there was a problem?

Also I don't know if this makes any difference but I did miscarry at 17 weeks, about 5 months before conceiving this baby.

Don't get me wrong I trust them I'm just a bit concerned because of the miscarriage.

  • Skyrim video game ps3, underwater breathing enchantment....?

So an answerer by the screen name 'stan' mentioned solaf in falkreathe had an amulet you could loot from him. BY LOOT I REALLY DON'T THINK HE MEANT BUY.

Haven't tried it yet bit was curious how, do I just pickpocket him or do I kill him and loot his corpse?

I'm willing to do either but would like to avoid reloading if I can, it's such a pain in my @$$

Also I have dawnguard so the frozen falmer is my next target. Then the atronache forge if nothing else works.

Also I'm level 64 so finding one as random loot will be extremely rare.

Don't even mention the volsung mask it can't be disenchanted.

However I'm worried that if I try it my dreaming could become dependant on it. I can't really find much about any dream repercussions so if anybody knows anything please share

  • Question about a puppy?

I adopted a mixed breed puppy (i say adopted not bought because she was adopted to me for $10)

She's obviously a BYB mutt, so of your going down that road just stop yourself right now I DON'T CARE. I didn't breed her myself and I love her all the same. I've raised and legitimately bred purebred papered samoyed huskies as sled dogs before I understand the difference but I saw her and wanted her end of story. Consider it a blessing in a already f*d situation, this one will get appropriate vet work, appropriate training, and will NEVER see the pound.

I know her dad is a mini poodle and her mom is half pomeranian/ half chihuahua. She's about 6-8 wks I'm going to confirm that tomorrow a I kept the original owners number, I know by experience she isn't much older. I would have opted to leave her with her litter until 12wks but she was the only one left damage was already done.

My question is they fully weened her to dry food already and I usually kept mine on the tit until 6 weeks then weened to formula along with the dry food until they were 9wks then weened them to dry food. So should I put her back on formula mixed with her food or is it too late to reinterduce. I've never had this issue before. I just want her to have the best start I can give? I just got her and my vet is out of town, also I do have a scale I can weigh her on to know the right feeding amount and I'm aware of all the charts. I'm also educated on milk replacers including homemade recipes. I'm aware of raw diets, food quality,so on and so forth.

I'm kind of seeking alternative advice and what not. I'm already prepared to have a health check done and I know thos is the territory I entered getting a BYB mutt, like I said this dog just called to me and I'm responsible and ready to give her anything she requires so maybe others have some experience to share for my pups benefit.

Any appropriate, non-belligerent, friendly suggestions will be fully appreciated.

  • Vampire/Werewolf hybrid dawnguard on PS3?

I see people on youtube who discovered a vampire lord/werewolf hybrid glitch on the Xbox, does this also work on PS3 because honestly I wouldn't mind botching my game play and starting over to obtain this. Also in regards to the hybrid do you no longer have to feed as you would being a vampire, I also noticed it scratched out the weakness to fire and sun which would be very convenient.

  • Skyrim question ps3?

So I adopted children, and I'm quite unhappy about the whole thing however I can't give the children back and I can't kill them so my only option is to build a new house and move right leave them with a stewart and never look back. However I just found out they can get kidnapped does this just happen randomly or is there an area this happens more than others because to be honest this might just be a silver lining here.

Any thoughts oh and no stupid BS like how cruel I am this is only game data people not real children.

Also I'm too far along to revert back to a previous save :( unless theres a way to pull up old data on the ps3 I'm not aware of or there is a way I can kill children on the ps3, I've heard of mods for the PC which is crap we aren't getting the same benefits :(

  • Membrane stripping question?

This is my second and I'm already 41 weeks. I have an induction scheduled on monday.

I had my membranes stripped on friday morning, then again friday afternoon in the hopes I would go into labor before monday.

I don't usually bleed after a cervical check or sex. I bled quite a bit after the sweeps with lots of cramping. The cramping and bleeding stopped completely early today and started up again not long ago. I'm curious if this second wave of spotting is due to the sweep or if this is bloody show.

  • Membrane sweep at 41 wks?

41 weeks pregnant had a membrane sweep, done twice today actually, my midwife wanted to be thorough because in scheduled for an induction on monday.

We are hoping I go into labor this weekend, I have been bleeding all day (brown, orange, pink) mucus plug was already lost finished losing it today. Lots of cramps they haven't stopped since, they are more mild now than they were before but they are very regular as compared to before, every 10 minutes.

It's been 10hrs from second sweep, and I'm hoping this will get labor jump started.

Any success stories, how did you feel after, how long did you bleed, how long did cramps last.

Looking for a ray of hope this baby will come before being induced, maybe some advice to help things along.

  • 41 weeks pregnant, membranes stripped.?

How successful is stripping the membranes when you're 41 weeks. Had it done once today going back in now for a second stripping, midwife says it's best to do it twice.

    TMI WARNING:

I normally don't bleed after sex or cervical exams, have bleeding with small clots, lots of mucus, cramps, etc. Lost my mucus plug a couple days ago in case that matters.

Also this is my second baby.

  • Castor oil labor induction questions personal opinions welcome....?

Here is the base information on a study about castor oil to induce labor.

In group 1, when castor oil was successful 25/30 women delivered vaginally (83.3%). The cesarean section rated for those in group 1 was 19.2% or 10/52. The women in group 2, with no treatment, had a cesarean section rate of 8.3% or 4/48 and was not considered statistically different with P=.20. There was no relationship found between castor oil ingestion, birth weight, and mode of delivery (P=.66). The incidence of meconium stained amniotic fluid, Apgar scores, and birth weights was similar in both groups. All of the newborns in this study had a 5 minute Apgar score above 7. However, all women that ingested castor oil were nauseous after ingesting the medication.

Where did the idea meconium stains in the amniotic fluid was more of a risk with castor oil inductions come from?

Personal opinion: many things we ingest can cause diarreah, I'm not 100% convinced that laxatives effect the fetus the same. Even if something is absorbed into the intestine, it is filtered down by the blood before the baby receives it. However having said that in retrospect the amount taken may be key as to wether or not the fetus would receive the effects of something such as a laxative.

What's your opinion on the idea of castor oil induction?

Personal opinion: I feel this is a mothers choice, I don't have a stand on induction personally.

What's your experience with castor oil induction?

Personal experience: I dont have one.

Do you think that the women given C-sections after castor oil induction would have delivered vaginally otherwise or is it merely coincidence since it didn't state why c-section was needed?

Personal opinion: I think this should be more detailed as to why the c-sections were performed. This could result in anything from distress to pelvic structure. Also c-sections are thought to be avoided when the mother is given more time to progress. I feel this wasn't thoroughly discussed.

  • 39 wks pregnant and vomiting?

I'm 39 weeks pregnant with my second baby and I've been feeling nauseous for the past few days with bouts of vomiting.

I dont have a bug as there aren't any other symptoms besides cramping. Also it's not food poisoning because it's been going on for days and no diarreah, I've had loose stools for several weeks now so nothing out of the ordinary. Also the cramping isn't consistent like contractions it's just for an hour after vomiting.

With my first pregnancy I didn't vomit until I was in labor so at first I thought that was it but now I'm not sure.

Also the midwife measured my belly and a week ago I measured at 38 wks, now I'm measuring 35 wks...she said it's most likely due to the baby dropping?!

I am curious if this is early signs of labor, if it's normal, what gives.

I'M NOT ASKING WHEN I WILL DELIVER JUST CURIOUS ABOUT THE SYMPTOMS I'M FEELING.

  • How long after relaxin hormone us released does labor generally happen?

I'm 38 wks + 3 days pregnant with my second baby, lost my mucus plug 5 days ago.

1 day ago I noticed tingling breasts, change in my bump (maybe my LO dropped)

Also for the past 24 hours I've been having in and off mild backache and cramps just above my pubic bone this plus heartburn and increased flatulence (which I never have) signals the release of relaxin hormones...... How long after does labor generally happen? What's the longest time period from the hormone fluctuation to birth. I know it can be different but there has to be an average timeframe.

I had my daughter at 38.5 weeks and I know that doesn't mean much every pregnancy it's different, but with her it all happened in the span of 19 hrs. So I never noticed the hormone changes.

PS I'm not asking anybody when my labor will happen, I'm just curious about this is all.

    Personal experiences welcome.
