What could be the cause of this constant ringing in my right ear?
About a month and a half ago I was taking the birth control microgestin fe 1/20 and I started to get terrible side effects. I first got rashes, numbness in my leg. Then one night I decided to reach for something on the side of my bed and I started to hear a sharp loud ringing in my right ear. I honestly don't know if I hurt my neck or if it was the radiation from my phone at the time. I went to the doctors and they gave me ear drops for it, few days later the ringing went away. But the next day, I started to get terrible sharp chest pains. I went to the doctors about it and I had to make more appointments for it. I also got off the pill that day. After a few days, the pain went away so my parents never went through with those other appointments.
But the same week, the ringing in my right ear came back. At first, it was only during the night but then I can now hear it constantly throughout the whole day. I'm convince its tinnitus and I told my parents about it but they could careless.
No matter how much I get sleep, I still feel restless. I get terrible headaches daily. I have neck and back pains but only on the right side. I feel like I can't really hear out of my right ear and it feels swollen. My throat feels swollen too and I've been getting tons of mucas. My poop is more loose than usual. In some areas of my body, the veins are more noticable, more blue or dark purple than usual, especially my right ear.
I'm only 18 and I'm convince that this tinnitus was cause by something more and that my birth control caused all of this because I have never experienced anything like this until I took this medication.
Can someone please give me some sort of idea what could be happening to me? Or some hope that I know what it is and if it will go away in time.

5 AnswersOther - Health8 years agoCan birth control cause tinnitus?
I was on lo loestrin but then switched to a crappy generic brand called microgestrin fe 1/20 and while I took the pill, I had severe side effects such as sharp pains in my chest, numbness in my legs, pains going down my shoulder and arms. I also had a night where I started to hear a painful ringing in my right ear. I did go to the doctor about my ear and he gave me ear drops and it did go away after couple of days.
I stopped taking the birth control pills about two weeks ago and the pains in my body did go away. But, I get really bad headaches and neck/back pains and now I hear ringing in my right ear almost continuously and it has worsen. It use to be only during the night but now it's throughout the day. Was it possible that my birth control caused this ringing in my ear? And maybe it was a withdrawal symptom? I never had this type of problem ever and it only started when I took my birth control.

3 AnswersOther - Diseases8 years agoI keep hearing ringing noises in my ear please help!!?
About two weeks ago, i was on my phone then i started to hear a terrible ringing in my ear that bothered me, especially since it happened during the night when I tried to sleep. I went to the doctors and they gave me ear drops and it went away but now, I keep hearing the ringing daily and it's very irritating. I did use my phone a lot which I think is causing the ringing in my ear. My phone doesn't have a back cover either and I think it can be caused by the radiation from my phone. The ringing isn't so loud or anything but it does keep me up from sleeping and it bothers to me greatly.
Sometimes I also get headaches daily and I feel like my head is always pulsing so hard when I lay on my side to sleep. Could this also be caused by lack of blood flow? Please help me. I'm scared that it won't go away for good.
3 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agoDid I pull or hurt my chest muscle? HELP PLEASE?
About two or three days ago, I had a slight pain in my left chest area and during the night, it started to feel like a sharp stabbing pain (maybe due to a bad position when I was sleeping). The next day throughout the day, I felt the sharp stabbing pain on and off, depending on how I lay down or if I did any activity that required lots of movements. It also hurt to lift up my left arm a lot.
After a day, the pain started to go away but now it has returned. But only when I lay down in a odd position or if I move my arm a lot. It is also not a stabbing pain anymore (only here and there) but it is more of a soreness kind of pain, Is it possible that I pulled or hurt my chest muscle? Is there any way in treating it without going to the doctors?
At first, I thought it could of been a blot clot in the heart because I took this bcp that made me get severe side effects but now I think that it's just a muscle pain because when I press around my boobs, it hurts and feels so sore.
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management8 years agois it normal to feel sore in the arms after getting blood drawn?
Yesterday, I got my blood drawn, they took about three tubes of blood. And during the night to the next day, I have been feeling so sore in my arm and sometimes a bit numbness but the funny thing is, I got blood drawn from my left arm and my right arm is the one that is hurting at the moment. I did take birth control that made me have severe side effects and I did sleep on right side the whole night, so maybe that is what is causing the numbness and soreness.
When I woke up, some of my veins in my fingers were also purple. Should I be really concern about this?
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agoMy arms hurt and I can see a lot of veins?
Idk if it's an side effect from my bcp but I've been having pains in my both my arms, sometimes a little numbness but not as much as just soreness and pain. My veins in my hand and in other areas of the arm are really shown and near my wrists and fingers the veins look purple.
I don't know if this is a sign of blot clots or not. I did a blood drive yesterday and they took three tubes of blood so maybe that's why I'm feeling sore and pains in my arms?
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agoI keep feeling a sharp pain in my left side of chest?
I've been taking microgestin fe 1/20 and yesterday, during the day, I felt a suttle pain in my left chest and it then went away. But in the middle of the night, the pain came back and it started to get worst through out the night. Now today, it's starting to get unbearable. The pain is on and off and it kind of travels down my arm. I don't think it's a lung problem because the pain doesn't come when I breathe I'm or out nor am I short of breath.
My mom called the doctor to set an appointment and one of the doctors just said it was probably due to stress but the thing is, I am not under stress whatsoever. She also said it could just be the side effects of the poll and since I stopped taking it, it should go away.
I'm very concern about my health. I don't thin it's serious because I'm only 18 but I just can't stand this sharp, stabbing pain. What could it be?
I don't know if it's my breast or behind the breast, when I put pressure onto it, it tends to hurt a bit more. Whenever I sit down an relax, it gets suttle and sometimes go away, so I'm guessing it's a heart problem? Also laying on my left side keeps the pain from coming.
Please just help me figure out what it could possibly be.

3 AnswersMedicine8 years agoIs it possible that I have a uti?
About two days ago during the night I had to pee very often and not a lot of pee came out so I thought maybe I was getting a uti but the next day, I didn't have any problems at all, didn't have to pee so often and when I peed it was enough. And Tonight, I peed again. It was a normal amount but I did feel a burning sensation after I was done peeing not to mention my pee was like a bright lightish yellow.
Is it possible that I might have a uti? Even though I have couple of signs but it went away? And sometimes I feel a pain on my left of my abdominals.
I was taking Mircogestin fe 1/20 while I had this problem too. But I've decided to get off it a day ago.
1 AnswerInfectious Diseases8 years agoI've been taking Microgestin fe 1/20 and I have been getting many side affects?
I know that during the first three months, many people get side affects but I feel as though I am dying and hurting all the time. The side affects that I have been getting are breaking out (chest, face and back), rashes, sometimes I get so many pain and soreness and even numbness in my arms and legs, my hair has been falling out like crazy, mood swings, headaches.
I am on my second month of taking it and I was wondering if I should just keep being a trooper and take it to see if the side affects go away or should I stop taking it?
But I was wondering if there are other birth control pills out there that are better and more trusted but cheaper than 80 bucks. I took lo loesintrin before and I loved it but it was too expensive.

3 AnswersWomen's Health8 years agoheadache and hearing a ringing noise caused by ear wax?
So at first, I kept hearing this ringing noise in my right ear every time I used my phone but now I can sometimes hear the ringing noise even when I am not on my phone. I think it is due to a lot of ear wax in my ear? I wanted to try to do a home remedy, dropping olive oil into my ear to soften the ear wax then try bathing my ear with water to hopefully drain out the ear wax but I am scared that I might even make things worst. Should I try to see a doctor about my ear or just try a home remedy? I've been getting a lot of head aches too so I am convinced that its due to ear wax.
2 AnswersPain & Pain Management8 years agowhy do I keep hearing a ringing type of noise in my right ear?
A couple of days ago, I was using my phone to talk to my boyfriend and I started to hear a ringing noise in my right ear and it wouldn't go away. Then two days later, it happened again when I was talking on the phone. I was wondering if I am getting this problem in my right ear because of my phone. Radiation problems perhaps? My phone does not have the back cover part to it and I talk on the phone for a long period of time every night. Do you think it is caused by my phone? What could it be?
1 AnswerPain & Pain Management8 years agoAm I pregnant or not?
I had my period on the 3rd and I forgot to take one of my BCP last week on friday and I had sex multiple times later on in that week. Then the beginning of this week, I started to bleed again and now it's just a lot of spotting from time to time ever since Sunday night. Am I pregnant and does it mean that the pills aren't working anymore? Or is it just because my cycle got messed up?
