So, my neighbor is an 8th grade girl and we are just friends. She was at her friend's house and her friend started texting me so I was like whatever, didn't care.

After a while of texting and talking, I started liking her and she really liked me. I wasn't going for her for sex or anything, she's just a wonderful girl. The only thing that's weird is that she's an 8th grader and I'm a 12th grader.

We always flirt and that stuff on the phone and we can get pretty raunchy sometimes. We say we're going to have sex like this weekend but we're not joking, we just do playful stuff like that.

My 8th grade neighbor's dad checked her messages and yelled at me for talking to her like that (my neighbor) telling me to talk to girls my age. I also called them "sexy" as a sarcastic joke in response to her playing water polo which really pissed him off. I also forwarded a message to her saying how i told her friend (the one I like) that her and her friend should be **** buddies, which was ver inappropriate.

So, I'm worried that her parents might talk to my love's parents saying how I'm a creeper when I honestly just like her because she's amazing.

Should I move on because society doesn't allow this? If her parents do find out and have us stop texting, what should I do? Was I in the wrong for liking her, which is out of my control?

I've been running actively since June preparing for cross country. My peak mileage per week was about 50 but my average during the season was probably 40. I only ran the 5k this year and my PR is 16:08 (I was sick, I can do a lot better).

Now that the season finished last Saturday, how long should I stop running until I do base training? I heard that taking a 10 day break in between each season helps prevent injury. Should I take a break? Should I keep running but only go about 20 miles this week?

Right now, I can get 16:50 in the 5k. I'm running around 35 miles a week and want to take it to the next level. Can anyone give me some tips or advice on my current schedule? Anything else I should do to break 16 minutes?

Monday: 11 miles (7:00 pace)

Tuesday: 6 miles (7:00 pace)

Wednesday: 1 mile warm-up, 3x1600 at 5:20 pace, 1 mile cool-down.

Thursday: 8 miles (7:00 pace)

Friday: 6 miles (7:00 pace)

Saturday: 8 miles (7:00 pace), 8x200 hill-repeats, 1 mile cool-down.

Saturday: 10 miles (7:00 pace), 8x200 hill-repeats, 2x400 at 75 second pace, 1 mile cool-down

Total: 53.5 miles

Monday: 12 miles (6:45 pace)

Tuesday: 6 miles (6:50 pace)

Wednesday: 1 mile warm-up, 3x1600 at 5:10 pace, 1 mile cool-down.

Thursday: 9 miles (6:40 pace)
