  • Can I reheat baked potatoes over a campfire?

I'm going camping with friends & I want to bring baked potatoes to the potluck, but since it's an hours drive there for me & the potluck is later in the evening, I was wondering if I could make the baked potatoes at home in my oven, then reheat them over the campfire? How long should I keep them over the fire? What's the best way to cook them on the campfire? Thank you so much for advice!

  • Do you know where I can find a Solar Panel with outlet or power strip?

I want to find a solar panel that I can carry with me that has an outlet or power strip to it, so I can plug in my slow cooker on camping trips for potlucks & the like. It'd be awesome if it also had a cord to power my phone/ipod, but I'm okay with buy a separate solar charger for that. Any help would be great. Thanks.

  • Any movies with a benevolent demon or demonic-like creature?

I can't seem to find any movies/series with a demon or demonic-like creature who's on the good side. Doesn't have to look demonic, as long as he/she is actually a demon. Would be great if it was the main character, but not necessary. Any ideas? ~fayquest

  • Where is Talking Kitty Cat (Wake up Kitty) video 13?

It's a YouTube series created by SteveCash83. He has a whole series about his cat Sylvester, & Gibson. He made this 'easter egg' thing, where he hid video 13. So now we have to go looking for it. I know to enter the codes at http://www.stevecash83.com/scav.html . But what codes do I enter?

I also know that if the wrong codes are entered, it will take you to http://www.doteasy.com/ .

Hitting the 'back' button will bring me back to where I'm suppose to be. So I can try again.

It says that caps & spaces aren't suppose to be used. So I know I'm not doing that wrong.

So anyone know the link or the codes that I need to watch the video? Thanks in advance!

  • There's soooo many Fancy Feast choices. Which 1 to pick?

I'm on their site right now & oh my word it's confusing! So many different choices. What's the difference between the 'Appetizers', 'Elegant Medleys', & 'Fancy Feast'? I don't understand why it's all seperated. The Appetizers don't have important things in it that cats need, why is this?

    Thanks for the input!

  • Tuna in wet cat food?

Looking at wet canned cat food. Looked up 9Lives. And found: Real Flaked Tuna & Egg Bits in Sauce, Real Flaked Tuna & Cheese Bits in Sauce, Real Flaked Tuna in Sauce.

Tuna? It's listed as the 1st ingredient. I'm use to seeing Beef, Chicken, Salmon, etc. Is Tuna healthy for cats? I use normal tuna as a treat for my cats, but I thought feeding 'em tuna on a regular basis was bad. Or is it different because the other stuff is in there along with the tuna?

Thanks for the help everyone. This wet food stuff is new territory for me, so I've had to ask more questions than I'm used to on here.

  • 1st ingredient of wet canned cat food?

If "water sufficient for processing" is the 1st ingredient on wet canned cat food, is it bad?

I know that the 1st ingredient in DRY food should be something like 'Chicken', 'Fish', 'Beef', etc. And not a meat by-product. But I wasn't sure if it works exactly the same for the wet stuff. Thanks for all answers!

  • What kind of Wet Canned Cat Food is good for my sis's cat?

My 3rd question ever. Please answer kindly. Thank you!

Lucky's Story: My sister, Kerry, has a kitty who she saved from the outdoors. The owners were irresponsible & just let their cats run around & mate & add to our overpopulation of cats. Mama cat got ran over by car & the owners just let her litter of kits die (they said it was just the way nature works). Only 1 was alive when Kerry got to her. Kitty was half dead with severe breathing problems. After multiple vet trips & feeding the kitty with a bottle, the kitty survived. This is Kerry's 1st kitty. She fed her Meow Mix. Yuck! And kitty got thin. I got her switched to Purina One Kitten Formula dry food. I know TONS about dry food, but have very little info on wet cat food having never needed to use it in the past 'cept for as treats.

The Problem: She's somewhat better now with the better food, but there is still a problem. Her breathing problems (vet said could continue on for the rest of her life), causes her sense of smell to not work well. Cats rely on their sense of smell a lot when it comes to food. She doesn't eat as often as she is suppose to! She's still thin & meows like she's hungry, but just doesn't eat enough. She knows where her food is after days of showing her that it is indeed there. She was acting like it was invisible for awhile there. We can't move it for fear that she won't be able to find it again.

The Question: So I need a smellier food, so she can smell it & know it's time to eat. Wet canned cat food is much more smellier than the dry stuff. But all the canned stuff that I see says it's 10-12% Crude Protien. Kitties need at least 30% to be healthy. So my requirements are: 30% Crude Protien or higher, the 1st thing listed is a real meat (like 'Chicken', 'Beef', 'Fish', etc. Not a meat by-product or 'meal'.), & is smelly to cats. All suggestions are appreciated. So go open up your cupboards & look at the ingredients of your wet canned cat food. Thank you so much!

P.S. She's checked out for everything by vet quite recently, so her thiness is NOT a medical problem. Vet confirmed that the smelling problem is the most likely scenario. Our vet knows more about DRY food, so she didn't have very good wet food suggestions.

P.S.S. She's a little young to be spayed & Kerry doesn't have the $ till end of month. But she will be spayed, no worries. Also, her kids named the cat which is why her name is 'Lucky'. lol

  • I'm scared. Pregnant Cat question.?

My lover & I found an abandoned pregnant cat. No owner stepped up & as best as we've been able to tell, the owner threw her out when she got pregnant. We've been taking care of her. She's our foster & we love her.

I could feel at least 2 kittens in her tummy before. I try to feel her tummy before going to bed every night. But sometimes she is squirmy so I skip it. I skipped that last few days. Now I can't feel the babies. The 2 obvious lumps aren't there. :*( What happened? Is she okay? I can't find mucus or miscarriaged kittens. Could they have been reabsorbed into mommy? :*( Or please, please, is her babies okay?

I have a cat pro/vet tech coming over soon, but I'm scared & would like to know what's happening now. Can anyone help me?

P.S. This is only the 2nd question I've asked, so please be nice to us. Thank you. ~fayquest

  • How young can you spay/neuter a kitten?

I was told to spay/neuter my 2 permanent cats at 6 months of age, which I did (they are now 1yr 6mo.). But then I read recently that you can spay/neuter much younger than that.

I am fostering a pregnant cat (we found her like that, I don't breed). So what age can I spay/neuter this pregant cat's babies? I would love to be able to spay/neuter them before giving them to good homes. Then I could be sure of NO MORE homeless kittens.

I also know better than to spay mommy cat before babies are born & done nursing. No kitty abortions here. I will spay her when she's ready, so no kits are hurt. :)

P.S. I have answered 407 questions & have about 10 per hundred average best answer, which I think is fairly good considering I'm usually pretty tired when I'm on here. I have never once asked a question. So please answer me with care & consideration. Thank you.
