  • Old Hamster girl getting thin fur?

My old Hammi girl is loosing a little fur on her left thigh, She is still active and defiant, nosy, and still runs from hand to hand and climbs up and down my back, She does seem like she is slower at getting started but not out of the ordinary, I think she is past 2 years now, She does not seem to be itchy, I keep her house clean but I have never gave her a bath, (not sure if you are supposed to bath a hammi unless you have too) So I don't not think it is mites, I hope she is not getting sick or starting to die, I know this sounds stupid, weird, ridiculous and un-man like, But I love that little animal, She sleeps next to me every night, And she literally is my alarm clock (and a very reliable alarm clock except I don't have to wind up her tail) At 5:00 am on the dot every morning she walks back and forth on my head until I wake up, And sometimes she will lick my face instead, Either way she wakes me up. Then I take her downstairs with me, and I make breakfast, She always eats some of my sausage egg cheese hot pocket every morning, I watch tv eating with her on my shoulder or on the chair arm. Then I go to work and she sleeps until I get home, Then I feed her some of my diner, And play with her and watch TV and then go to bed, She has been like a miniature puppy dog, It is uncanny how smart she is, I know allot of people would never let a rodent run free on their bed while asleep, But I can trust her and she has never left the bed once, I really hate to see her go, I'll tell ya, Being a pet rodent owner is not easy, You get used to them, Then you love them, And then suddenly they are gone. So my question is do they loose fur sometimes for no reason? Or could it be her age? I am not sure about stress, But I did have some of my family over for dinner a couple of days ago, And my sister's kids can sometimes get loud. I don't know, I hope she is ok.

  • Why is Stalin Who was A Mass Murderer And Dictator, Suddenly a Hero?

I am so offended By this! And so should everyone else with love of freedom and love of humanity , decency and self respect.

I don't know what history books idiots are reading now. The History books must have conveniently been changed recently But you can't fool me or anyone who has a real thinking brain in there head. Stalin only helped fight off the Nazi's and that is about the only thing he did decent, But he only did that cause he had no choice. I mean everything was under strict ideological control by Stalin and his government, Meaning the people had no individual thought and had to think one way or else. He removed religion so nobody could have it and forced atheistic education in schools. 800,000 prisoners under Stalin for either political or criminal offence's, around 1.7 million deaths in the Gulags and some 390,000 deaths during kulak forced resettlement – with a total of about 3 million officially recorded victims in these categories. Plus there is much more Evil the man did. He was Hitler's Equal. Anyone trying to lie and say this man was a hero is a liar or absolutely insane or sick and evil themselves. And it seems very convenient he is suddenly being called a hero now during the times of American Polices and politics steering towards the ways of Stalin. I would want nothing to do with dictator like that and If I saw that new statue of him I would urinate on it. I suppose next a Hitler statue will be put up and kissed too, And then idiot brainwashed sheep will call him a hero too. and then we can Burn the books too.

  • Will my Hamster be harder to tame?

I recently had a male syrian named boo boo, I had him over a year, he was given to me from a friend and was over a year old and a little untamed. Well it took maybe a week to tame him, he was so easy going, I loved that hamster and was hurt when he died. My friends felt bad for me and bought me a 8-9 week old female syrian and it has been 5 days and she still acts freaked out. Boo Boo never liked his wheel so he just ran around the tub or on the floor that was how trusty he was. I tried to take her to the tub to run around and this is the 3rd time I have taken her to the tub. She ran a little untill she got back in her box, So I went to put her back in her cage. She jumped out of the box and fell almost 5 feet and hit the wall (I hope she is Okay) and then when I grabbed her to put her back she ran again until I finally caught her, and then she tried to jump out of my hand again so I had to hold as tight as I could without squeezing her hard. I hope she is okay. My question is will she be okay? And will she be harder to tame now?

  • Why did my hamster Freak out when I turned on the Ceiling Fan?

I have a hamster Syrian Male named Boo Boo, anyway, I had him out like always because he likes to run around, and I have not got him a ball to run around in yet so I let him run around in the family room as long as I am there to watch him. I had him in my hands walking in the family room and my grandfather said my cigarette smoke was bugging him so I reached for the light switch to turn the fan on and I still had the hamster in my hand, as soon as I turned on the switch he started freaking out I put him down quickly on the floor and he stood up making some kinda hamster barking noise and a hiss, I quickly turned the fan off and he calmed down and I was able to pick him up again. That was the strangest thing I ever saw. Was it really a noise the fan made? Or did he just feel like freaking out? He seemed to look up at the fan while doing it. I heard no noise from the fan But I do know they can hear things we can't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

  • My syrian hamster sometimes makes a chatter noise when it wants to be picked up?

It is mabey a year and a half old I have owned it now for 4 months I got it from a friend who never spent time with it. I have enjoyed having him I take him out every night and let him run around in the bathtub. He loves me to pick him up, so I do until he tries to roam around, then I put him back in the tub, then he begs to be picked up again after awhile. Well recently when I put him in the tub he looks at me and runs to my hand to be picked up as usual but now sometimes he looks at me and makes a hamster chatter noise when he wants picked up. I read when they make that noise its because they are angry or scared but he does not act angry or scared, He never bites and he just wanted picked up. So what in the world is with him? is he just trying to communicate ? or is he insane?
