I'm not writing about the regular flower giving, card buying or taking out to dinner type thing. For example My fiance has a song dedicated to me or us, it's from a comical sketch comedy, Madtv (you are the love of my life by Michael McCloud and Jasmine Wayne wayne) and I have one for us too, Dr. Dooom "Welfare Love"; I suggest anybody to listen to these two songs at youtube it's hilarious.

Another way we show it, is me buying her macadamia nut cookies or her buying me steak instead of flowers and a card.

Last example is her ring, it's a custom made ring; one is a normal diamond ring but the other is a skeletal ring with a diamond.

There are many other things that we do but I don't want to babble on to much.

I'm just asking because I have been told from several people that what we do is childish and some said it's rude even though I don't think so, but it got me thinking what other funny or awkward things do people do to show their love to one another.

I tell all my dreams to my girlfriend (now fiance), due to the fact that I rarely have dreams and when I do they are very real and vivid and almost always come true. Now, there is this one dream that I had many years ago that for some reason she won't let go and brings it up from time to time. It goes like this I'm back in High School and I guess I'm the popular kid 'cause I have a whole bunch of people surrounding me and walking along with me talking to me. As I am walking to my next class I pass by the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and she is standing in front of her locker with some friends. I look at her and she looks at me but the look is more than just noticing each other it's a look of love at the first sight. But we both continue on what we were doing. After class I went back to her locker to see if she was there and she was. So I mustered enough strength to go talk to her because her beauty was intimidating and I let her know right away that I think she is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen and that I like her and she replied back that I caught her eye too and would love to get to know me. I smiled and asked her what her name is, she replied "PonyTail" I smiled again 'cause I have never heard of a name like that before, it was unique and beautiful, so I told her my name. I offered to walk her to her class which she did not deny my request and to my surprise we were holding hands and walking. That is when my dream abruptly ended and I woke up sweating like I have been jogging for miles. Now, on another note when I do dream, people in my dreams, when they talk I can never ever understand what they are saying, just gibberish comes out and for someone to finally talk and understand what they are saying and to give me a name even I thought something odd about it. The name also left me curious and the only thing I can think of is that it is an Native American name and that in some odd way I connected with someone real but in my dreams.

Because of this dream my girlfriend is very jealous, which she did admit too but I feel there is a lot more to this, a lot. She brings it up but then doesn't want to talk about it and if we do she drills me about it like I have some secret agenda.
