For Couples: Do you have different ways of showing your significant other how much you love them?

I'm not writing about the regular flower giving, card buying or taking out to dinner type thing. For example My fiance has a song dedicated to me or us, it's from a comical sketch comedy, Madtv (you are the love of my life by Michael McCloud and Jasmine Wayne wayne) and I have one for us too, Dr. Dooom "Welfare Love"; I suggest anybody to listen to these two songs at youtube it's hilarious.

Another way we show it, is me buying her macadamia nut cookies or her buying me steak instead of flowers and a card.

Last example is her ring, it's a custom made ring; one is a normal diamond ring but the other is a skeletal ring with a diamond.

There are many other things that we do but I don't want to babble on to much.

I'm just asking because I have been told from several people that what we do is childish and some said it's rude even though I don't think so, but it got me thinking what other funny or awkward things do people do to show their love to one another.
