Have any community members had any experience with this program? Is it really necessary for "fixing up Microsoft Registries?" Any comments on this program are greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I have a brand-new Toshiba laptop computer with a CD/DVD drive. I've played commercial DVDs of movies on the player with no problem. Last night we tried playing a commercial video from an historic site. It got no further than 1/3 of the way, stopped with an error message about checking the DVD. Any suggestions about the problem? I need to buy a new computer because the one I have does not have enough RAM nor space to install more at a reasonable price to work as I want to. I have used computers for several decades and always Gateways because I got a good discount on them that is no longer available to me. I write manuscripts, use space for photos and music; do not do videos or games. I am looking for some criteria on how to work my way through all the brands, models and prices on the current market. Also, need opinions on the best retail location at which to buy computers. Thanks.

If I clear files from the C drive will this free up more RAM? Can I increase RAM without buying a new computer? Is there a point in which I can no longer upload programs to my hard drive and still run my computer efficiently? I do not do games on my computer. I already store many large files, including music and photos, on external hard drives. Am I asking too much of this computer? Thanks!

2 - Are there any services which allow writing as well as receiving e-mail only?

My Gateway Laptop has an "Fn" key highlighted in blue in the lower left of the key pad. When I use it (press down on it) and use another of the accesroy (in blue) keys - eg. screen brightness / screen dimmness - nothing happens.

What is the procedure? What else might I be doing that I am not?

It seem this should be a simple process...so I figure I am missing something.

On its journey from pitcher to catcher, baseballs sometimes hit the ground and become scuffed...out-of-control pitch / missed catch / etc. The ball is dirty / scuffed. The catcher usually automatically hands it over to the ump' who reaches into his bag and hands the catcher what is presumably a clean baseball.

Are the "rejects" given away to people / groups / auctions / etc. or are they washed in a baseball washer, buffed, and returned for another round of service?

It seems as if each time my family gathers we end up talking about sports. The conversation eventually turns to sports movies. Each person always has a different opinion, but I always learn what new movies are out there. That is why I am asking this question here.

91% of that free space is now used mostly to store those photos. I've tried using CDs...I need too many and I just lost the info from one...don't know if it was my error or a defect that showed up in the CD.

Bottom line...I need to free up space on the laptop so it operates faster. Can anyone suggest what to look for in an externla hard drive? How much to pay? What "brands" might be better than others.
