What "box" can I connect to my cable set-top box using HDMI (or SCART as a poor second choice) that will buffer several hours of TV and record selected programs to HDD. I already have a Tivo but this only buffers 1 hour and wipes the buffer when the channel is changed!

All the recorders I can see advertised are Freeview or FreeSat and will only record Freeview/FreeSat channels (and I've got a Freeview recorder.)

I had a Philips recorder with 250Gb HDD and DVD recorder that did what I want (SCART only) but the hard disk crashed and I couldn't find any info about replacing the disk.

I'm trying to log into my hotmail.co.uk accounts - it seems to get part way through but the screen is not formatting correctly and then seems to freeze while waiting for https://bay150.mail.live.com/mail/#

Anyone else having a problem?

When I was capped at 20Mbps, a webcam site I watch gave smooth video and audio - no problems! After upgrading to a 60Mbps Hub, the video and audio keep pausing for about half a second every few seconds. I've checked my download and upload speeds with speedtest.net and it reports a Ping time of 10ms, Upload speed = 2.92Mbps and Download speed = 62.5Mbps. Does anyone have any idea why using a 3 x faster connection can cause this?

I have 3 packs, each containing 4 x 20mg tablets, which were prescribed by my doctor but I no longer need them. It seems a waste just throwing them away.

It is a chassis mounted 10-way Ribbon Cable Header. 0.1" pitch, to accept a Ribbon Cable mounted socket. I can only find this part without the retaining latches but they are needed for my application.

A Chinese girl I've been chatting to on Skype is coming to England soon and we have arranged to meet. If we get on well she will take me to her hotel room for a romantic interlude. My wife is travelling with me because the following day my wife and I will visit any interesting local attractions. My wife knows all about my meeting and is very understanding (so I don't need a lecture about cheating etc.) but during the afternoon I will have to leave her alone and without a car. Are there any places in or near Derby that she will be able to visit on foot to keep her amused. She's not into shopping but does like historical buildings, churches and Stately Homes.
