Please explain why I should care about a fictional (or even a real) character like Jesus was tortured and killed? This appeal to emotion is a joke. Why would you follow a religion that's a complete guilt trip?

Morality is a subjective man made social construct used to control weak minded people.

At church today the sermon was about not worrying. Thought it was interesting that the main talking point was "Don't worry or care if your children die, because God sent himself as His son to get nailed to a stick".

Tell me, how is that in anyway good, and why would you worship such a tyrant?

After all the God of the bible says shell fish are an abomination.

Then Christians say a child on welfare is just lazy. Or they go to third world nations only to hand our bibles and get photo ops with straving children to pad their resume and superiority complex.

I never understood the point of empathy to begin with, but especially for people you don't even know! What causes anyone to care about strangers?

I learned about many scientific facts in THIRD GRADE. (Such as Evolution, Astronomy, Germ Theory, and basic Chemistry)

And I see older adults on this site that do not know anything about science (such as evolution, and the worst I've read is not knowing the difference between an acid and a base).

Can people really be this stupid?

Jesus cursed a fig tree for not having fruit (such as in Mark 11). Isn't God all knowing? If Jesus were God, he should have all ready known the fig tree wouldn't have fruit; also, being all knowing shouldn't he have known that the fig tree wasn't in season?

Ezekiel 18:20 The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent's sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child's sins. Righteous people will be rewarded for their own righteous behavior, and wicked people will be punished for their own wickedness.

Ezekiel 18:19-20 "'What?' you ask. 'Doesn't the child pay for the parent's sins?' No! For if the child does what is just and right and keeps my decrees, that child will surely live. The person who sins is the one who will die. The child will not be punished for the parent's sins, and the parent will not be punished for the child's sins. This is another thing I don't get. It's a mindless argument. My question is who cares? Even if it is "murder" still why would anyone care? I don't understand why people care about people they don't even know.

Why should I care that Jesus was tortured and crucified. Even if Jesus was a real figure, still why should I care? I asked before, but didn't get a good answer.

Religion that is supported by blind faith alone. And that there is NO "historical" evidence for Chistianity.

Unlike all other major religions (Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Daoism, and Islam) which are based on reason, not blind faith. All these religions want you to do your own studying and research before you convert. You don't have to just have faith, like Christianity claims about itself.

That's not new! That's how it's always been. In America, 51% of crime (especially violent crime) is commited by blacks who make up 15% of the population. And it's has nothing to do with "white oppression". Blacks get college FREE and jobs without real work (affirmitave action). And you can't fire them because that would be racist!

Good and evil, by definition, are comparisons of each other. Thus, can not exist independently of one another. What one person believes is "good" another may believe is "evil".

For "my sin"? Or that he rose from the dead? Why should I care about anyone I do not know (past or present) dying? Christianity's appeal to emotion is annoying.
