my baby weighs 462g-- so approx 1lb at 25 weeks 1d, where it was found at a growth scan that i have absent EDF..im now 25 weeks 4d and have tried to find information on it, but im still very confused.

consultants start me on steroids next week..but have been told to accept that sometimes thse things go wrong :(

my baby boy was fine on the scan and appeared to be under no stress.

i am now terrified of the flow becoming reversed, and wonder if he's kicking more than usual that thats a sign it may be happening?? im still so clueless and worried. i have another scan in 3 days.

I'm nearly 22 weeks and have had a uncomfortable burning sensation all day, and feeling the need to pee frequently (excuse the tmi!) I'm hoping to get tested tomorrow by my dr but there may not be any appointments left.

The last UTI I had was at about 12 weeks..I took antibiotics for it and it cleared up.

I've heard all these horror stories about women going into pre-term labor because of UTIs so I'm really paranoid..especially as I get braxton hicks at the moment.

Any experiences/advice on this??

It seems like people put themselves into extreme catagories too, either calling themselves 'too fat' or 'too skinny'?

I know curvier women have Had a hard time in the media and people seem to think that everyone wants people to be skinny. But In fact, i think it's become the opposite. Women who are naturally slender are being disliked because they 'encourage a negative body image'

Does it ever cross people's minds that sometimes, women can just be naturally slim and petite, and eat loads but Naturally struggle to put on weight, just like some Naturally bigger women really struggle to lose it??

What's everyone's opinion on this? Do you ever feel negative towards a naturally slim person or a naturally bigger woman?

I'm 20 weeks and 2 days and I find that my baby's kicks and movements are faint and few in the mornings, but strong and frequent during the night.

This morning though, I only felt 1 faint kick..and if there have been any other movements they've been faint.

I haven't seen or listened to the heartbeat since I was 12 weeks but my consultant told me my fundal height was ok at 18 weeks. I have the 20 week scan on Monday.

Is this something to be worrying about at 20 weeks? By the way I've been told to get a Doppler before, but I simply don't want to because I think it would make me become more paranoid.

A friend of about 2 yrs who has 3 personality disorders and her schizophrenic fiancée don't seem to want to leave me alone. I lived with them for 2 months trying to help them but I ended up being reduced to a breakdown out of frustration, and moved out.

My friend has been mentally unstable since she had her 1 yr old son, he has been taken away from her as she had thoughts of harming him. Her fiancée is unpredictable and I cannot trust him.

I am currently pregnant and she demands that I see her every month and has recently asked for photos of my bump. Her fiancée also keeps contacting me and keeps asking how big my bump is. They are currently trying for a baby. My friend has always seen me as a 'little sister'..and her fiancée keeps calling me sister too but I've made it clear I don't trust him.

What should I do, for me and my baby's sake?? I have tried to help my friend overcome her issues for years, but all she does is demand my presence and make things up to try and get my attention.

I'm 20 weeks tomorrrow, and a bit paranoid after hearing a lot of stories about women having their babies way too early..like at 23 weeks..

I'm treating every week I get through as a blessing. Im really hoping I can get to at least 25 weeks!

I get mild period-like cramps every now and then but nothing unbearable..just uncomfortable..I also feel my belly tightening and relaxing all of a sudden maybe once a day.

I'm a first-timer..so I'm clueless, and paranoid.

I'm hoping someone with experience can give me some info on premature labor?? Thanks x

I'm 19 weeks pregnant. I just got out of bed after a long nap, and as soon as I got out of bed and walked around I got a sharp pain on one and both sides of my abdomen near my pelvis.

If I bend down slightly or walk around too much I can feel it, but I'm lying flat on back now and it's completely gone.

The last urine sample I did a month ago came back with white blood cells-- could this be a kidney infection?

Which placements and/or signs have you noticed to be over-confident about themselves, or insecure deep down but are always trying to make it look as if they have a great life when deep down they need help?

With the insecurity thing, I have a lot of insecure Pisces moon friends who can go over the top with covering up their insecurities, wanting the world to think that everything is rosy and great in their lives, when deep down they're suffering.

Me and this lady I've never met have decided to become 'pregnancy buddies'. It started off as her giving me advice, but now it feels like she talks down to me.

She's married to a wealthy man at 24. I'm 19, single, and I don't have a husbands credit card to spend. It feels like her baby will have a better life than mine, and that makes me feel so sad...when our baby's are born I'm scared she'll rub in the fact that her baby has a big house and fancy toys and clothes...whereas I won't be able to spend too much with mine, and the dad has treated me bad :(

My brother has autism, he seems to be getting lots of diarrhoea, and he Wont see anybody about it. He's had constant irritable bowels for over 3 years now (you can literally hear it across the house when he goes to the bathroom..) this has been going on since he's been going to college. Even standing next to him, you can hear his belly making all sorts of noises that sound v.unhealthy.

We have no idea what's wrong with him, whether it's stress or irritable Bowles or a serious illness, but he just won't go to the doctor because he feels ashamed.

She puts on weight easily. I have chargrilled chicken in my fridge, but I know my mum (her primary owner) would worry if I gave her that. She's on these diet food pellets and whenever I see other cat owners give their cats milk, cream, fish etc I feel quite bad that she has to put up with this and can't have a treat. She has just lost quite a bit of weight and is considered to be healthy, she's done well these past few years and I just want to know how we can give her something she'll like.

For some reason I have no sky channels on my freesat box-- no sky news, no sky1,2 or living or even sports..just out of curiosity, does anyone know why this is??

Anyway. I looked up the frequency etc for sky news, and put it into the 'add non freesat services' box, and it didn't work. I tried to add some south African channels too, and it didn't work. Said 'no services added' after it scanned.

Does anyone know how I can add new services to my freesat box?? Does anyone have any frequencies for some channels I can add?

I was thinking about this the other day..can a calm pet have a calming effect on a baby? Like if the baby wakes up and wants some love and attention, can putting baby's hand across a purring and calm cats furr and saying encouraging words to them calm them down? Can it help with their development? Could it teach baby how to interact with cat?

A guy with a long term gf had you thinking for a few months that he was single. You slept with him thinking he was single. A friend of yours is friends with his girlfriend of 2 years. You give this guy hell for it, yet he constantly tries to make you feel sorry for you by saying his girlfriend bullies him, he complains about how much he hates her but is too scared to leave her. You make it clear you are friends and nothing more from now on.

On valentines day, after lots of slushy posts between them and pictures of gifts, you feel confused, and think he's the one being a dick to his gf; calling her fat and a ***** to u then being all happy couples on fb.

I'm 17 weeks pregnant. I had my scan done at 11weeks 6 days in January. I know a woman who's at the same stage as me, she

had hers done at 13 weeks and her baby's

legs are so long! They're bent aswell..like a full-grown baby's ..Another woman, had her scan done at 11weeks 5 days and her baby has extremely long legs too, and bent.

My baby doesn't even show any legs on the scan..I couldn't see them..no arms either..just feet and hands?

Is it anything to be concearned about? And is there a reason why would my baby not have these 'long legs' that the others do?

Sometimes il wake up with what looks like a visible round bump, then it will almost disappear by the end of the evening, and feels as if the baby has moved more downwards towards my pubic bone ( when I lie flat, that's where I feel the firmness)

I still feel little movements, and I only get cramping or discomfort when I have too much in my bladder or bowels.

My belly is completely flat when I lie down, apart from firmness at the pubic bone. For a few days last week I kept feeling my tummy tightening and relaxing as if it was going to get bigger, now the opposite has happened,

Should I be concerned??

im 16 weeks and since 12 weeks i havent been as keen on food as i used to. ive had really bad sickness, its stopped now, but im still really fussy with my food. im a skinny girl with a small frame and small stomach, and always have been, so i only eat when im hungry, ive never been a comfort eater.

because im only eating when im hungry, i tend to eat little and often..but its like constant snacks from breakfast til dinner when i have a proper meal, and sometimes i start feeling sick or too tired by dinner time. i cant force myself to eat when im not hungry, but i am worried that maybe my baby needs more than i do to survive, or needs me to change my eating habits :/

what do you think?? and by the way, i havent taken pre-natal vitamins; i took folic acid up until week 12.

i was in a clothing shop today- a trusted retailer (Topshop) and i had just filled out a form for a store card..all my details were on it (except my PIN number), so my full name, bank account no, adress etc. i was in a rush and had to leave it at the last minute, and decided to cancel it.

the store assistant put the filled in form on the back shelf behined the counter, folded over.

im now worried, as i left the form with them, if they just put it in the bin and they dont shred it whether somebody could try to steal my identity.

is this likely to happen? if so, what can i do to stop it & what do i do if i suspect someone is taking my identity??
