  • He's Always Around Guys?

This is a really strange question, but I'm wondering what you guys personally think: If a guy is always around other guys, do you think he's gay?

I know the stereotype is that gay guys hang around girls, but I've been curious if it could work the other way, too.

[This is purely opinion-based; no sort of right or wrong answer.]

  • Does this make me a lesbian?

I realize this is probably a weird question, but I'm not sure how else to ask. Recently I realized that I've gotten turned on by both men and women. The only thing is that I'm only interested in sex with men and every time I try to imagine anything with a female, it doesn't do anything for me. But, for example, every time I see a Victoria's Secret commercial, I find myself aroused a little. The same thing happens when I see a mostly naked man. Is this a normal thing? Like, is it a natural human reaction to anyone half naked? Keep in mind that I've never had sex before, I just get more interested in it every time I see something like that.

And please give me serious answers. I'm genuinely curious.

  • My throat is so sore I can't even swallow. Is there anything I can do?

Yesterday, I woke up and had an awful ear pain in both ears and a slight sore throat. As the day went on, my throat pain spread to the point where I couldn't even swallow without wincing and I'm crazy sore all over my back. I thought it could sleep it off, but I woke up and felt even worse. I'm woozy when I go from standing to sitting and I feel like I want to cough, but every time I do it doesn't do anything. I feel dehydrated, too, but the pain in my throat is so severe that it's hard to get it down. I don't have a fever, but my pain is super intense and I'm scared it'll only get worse.

Random facts that might be helpful:

    -I don't have any pets.

-No one is my house smokes.

-My temperature is a normal like 93 degrees or so.

-The symptoms came almost instantly and have only gotten worse.

-Slight runny nose and I've been sneezing more than usual.

-My head has been aching like crazy on and off. It was worse yesterday - it felt sort of like someone hit me on both sides of the head with a hammer. I was also dizzy and have moments when I really, really need to sit down or I'm scared I'll faint.

-Sleep is awful. I kept waking up and going to back to bed. Eventually I gave up because I just couldn't get comfortable after waking up for the 6+ time.

-It recently went from really warm to really, really cold (at least for this area and this time of year.) in about two days.

Is this the beginning of strep throat? Or is it less severe? And is there anything I can do about it?

Thank you so much! Seriously, any help is appreciated (:

  • Forgetting something scary/disturbing/terrifying?

My friends and I came across an article that we thought wouldn't be anything bad, but it completely scarred me mentally. There was things about dead children and a suicide that were so graphically described that I can picture them almost perfectly. My friends seem fine, but whatever reason it's sticking to me and I just can't shake it. It's this weird feeling that I'm not scared, but I'm not okay either. It just ... disturbed me. It's like no matter what else I try and focus on I can't stop picturing the children and everything that was talked about. I just have this flood of emotions where I want to cry, scream and freak out. I keep shaking, too. I'm not even sure why, since the article honestly wasn't as bad as you would think.

The weird part is that it's not like a horror movie scare where I'm worried something will pop out and kill me, it's just these mental images and the general idea of what I read.

And no, I have not seen the video of what is described in the article and I don't plan on it. Ever.

I only read the article today, but I'm almost to the point of not sleeping because I'm scared that's what I'll dream about.

Please can you help me? I don't want counseling or anything recommended, but what are helpful things so I can make it through the night? What helps you guys not think about situations like this?

Thank you so much (: You have no idea how much I need this.

P.S. The article was dealing with something called 'Squidward's Suicide' (which sounds much, much, MUCH worse than it actually is. Don't read/watch it if you're scared easily or anything. It's not for the weak at heart. Especially if you or someone you know really likes Spongebob. And don't laugh at me please. It's barely cartoon, it's all supposedly real images.)

  • I need all types of music! Have any good music to recommend?

I'm looking for music that has to deal with revenge, murder, or just being generally... distant. It's hard to explain. But if you have songs that are anything like the ones below, post 'em! And I'm open to any genre - rap, alternative, rock, etc. Mostly revengeful songs, please!

Newish music is better, so like 2009 and up but good music comes from every generation(:

    EXAMPLES:

Where is My Mind / Pixies

Kinda Outta Luck / Lana Del Rey

Girl with One Eye / Florence and the Machine

  • Do you support 'One Million Moms?'?

The conservation group 'One Million Moms' is going against profanity on TV, in music, in movies and just about anything. I agree with wanting to protect their children from profanity but recently they published this to their website:

So it's just a simple question - do you support their opinions?

  • Teen appropriate horror books?

My mom has recently allowed to branch out to the world of adult horror books, such as Stephen King's The Shining and Thomas Harris' the Silence of the Lambs. Since summer is one of the best times to get horror/mystery books and I've already both the Shining and the Silence of the Lambs what are some teen appropriate books?

-Language is okay but not like, an f-bomb every three lines (I realize Stephen King needs to clean his mouth but he barely uses words we don't hear anyway)

-Sexual content is barely there. Please, please don't give me books with awkward sexual situations. I can understand tensions between characters but actual scenes or things that are too graphic are highly inappropriate and I have no interest in reading those.

-Can either be generally thrilling (Cop books), slightly scary (the Mist) or an actual all out horror book (the Shining.)

-Nothing highly supernatural. Ghosts are okay but vampires and stuff are not to my liking(:

Thanks so much in advance! And I hope there are actually books out there that fit my descriptions!

  • Yay or Nay on a bathing suit?! Guys & Girls opinions please!?

    http://www.polyvore.com/bandeau_bikini/thing?id=33...

The bathing suit above is my absolute favorite, it looks cute and everything and its the most flattering one I own. I'm just worried it's too little? Like inappropriate? I want it to be cute but I don't want it to be too much or be 'That Girl' that always wears the slxxty bathing suits.

Guys; Is it too little? Is this a turn on or just showing too much?

Girls; Is it cute at least? Or does the amount of skin you see cancel it out?

Let me tell you, all my bathing suits over the year have been bikini tops and boy shorts so... this is a little different from what I normally do.

  • Why do guys find it attractive when girls wear their clothes?

I was in a class the other day and a guy had a hat with him, and I just like put it on as a joke. We don't really know each other all that well but he started complementing me and everything. It was extremely strange and a total change of heart, because a few days before he never would've told that to me. I'm pretty sure it was the hat because I just spent the last like, hour researching if guys think it's cute when a girl wears his clothes. But why?

I mean, from a standpoint of someone who wears guys shirts, hats, jackets, anything, it's really comfortable and all but it's just strange that girls seem to have the power whenever they are wearing any of their clothes?

Is this true at all? I'm SO confused on this. I know everyone has different points of view and everything, but nearly every guy on the forums said it was sexy, hot, cute, adorable, etc.

    Thanks!

  • Songs you can put your name in?

    Like 'hey there Delilah' (obvious) and 'hard' (that Rihanna reign just won't let up), 'Pretty Girl Rock' (my name is kerri.) It doesn't have to make sense, I'm just interested because I haven't found many. It can be rap, alternative, whatever. I just want to hear what songs names can go in(;

  • Mono or just strep?!? Help please!?

My friends and I often share food and drinks (have not recently kissed anyone) and I'm worried I have mono. I have a mildly sore throat, a cough, chills, the occasional high temperature and have been extremely tired the past few days. Strep throat is going around my school so I am not sure if I have either. The symptoms are basically the same. My mom says its just me growing and that whole 'teenagers sleep for a billion hours' but I think it's a lot more then that. I've been sick on-and-off for about three months now. I'm extremely worried I'm getting something and don't want to bring either up until I get more opinions. I read about both and I fit into almost all the categories for both, so I'm a tad confused on it as well.

Help please? From people who have had either or know something about it please(:

Thank you so much in advance!!

  • Anything-goes-music project ideas?

I can't sing or play an instrument to save my life so anything but composing a song, playing an instrument, etc. It doesn't have to be an essay or anything like that. I would like it be revolved around the producers more then the artists. But any ideas you have would be amazing :D It's anything goes!

    Thanks so much in advance!

  • If you really like a guy and they seemingly like you back what do you do?

This guy in my class supposedly likes me and I really like him but I think he's going out with someone. I don't know if I should just let it be or if its smart to just ask him. I barely know him and don't want to lose every chance I have of being his friend... It seems stupid to ask but I seriously need help(: Thanks
