Difficulty comprehending two- dimensional objects/printed writing?
Hi. Im not getting any answers in the learning area so I thought I would try here. Sorry if it is the wrong category.
I have always had a problem with reading and I want to get help but do not know what to ask or refer to.
I am a 3-dimensional thinker and there is a great disconnect between 2D and 3D understanding and comprehension. I do not understand things that are 2-dimensional.
I have been trying to find out what this is, but I am only finding resources on people who have problems understanding or thinking 3-dimensionally.
I can read words, sentences, and sometimes short paragraphs, but a page of printed text becomes one object that I cannot glean specific words or sentences from. If I go sentence to sentence by covering up things I usually cannot remember what the previous sentences were about and I have to read everything over a few times.
Pleas to not make fun of me or troll this topic, I am looking for help and I am trying to find out if these symptoms sound like a disorder that I would be able to research and find strategies to get around, or if there is some sort of counseling/ learning behaviorist that I could go to.

1 AnswerSpecial Education1 decade agoAllergic to Elastoplast, are there any bandages that i can use?
tried in the allergy forum, maybe i'll have better luck in here
Im allergic to Elastoplast adhesive, are there any bandages that i can use?
Elastoplast is the adhesive used in all the bandages i have been able to find. I am allergic and would like to try to find some bandages i can use. i have looked up things on google, but have had no luck. hoping to find someone else allergic to adhesive who has some suggestions.
(it causes my skin to peel off)
also, this is not a latex allergy, just the adhesives and anything that is resin based.
4 AnswersFirst Aid1 decade agostudent loan interest (stupid question?)?
what time period does a private student loan gather interest. this is probably basic stuff but i am getting my first loan by myself and want to be clear.
does it go up monthly, if i borrowed 100 with an interest rate of 10% would month 1 owe 100, month 2 owe 110, month 3 owe 121
is it yearly? i dont understand i guess.
i tried looking it up but i couldnt find anything that i understood. i am trying to figure out if i can afford paying interest only while in school.
i know i need to call and talk to an agent at the bank, but i wanted to know some basics first so they dont try to talk me into something i dont understand.
also i will be a senior this year in college, do i wait till i graduate to consolidate, or can i do that as soon as i get the final loan processed.
Thanks!
(ps, dont be rude)
1 AnswerFinancial Aid1 decade agoHow should I show respect to a Rabbi as a woman who is wanting to convert?
HI. I am planning on converting to Judaism and will be meeting with Rabbis to learn more and start the process. I am just worried that I will do something that will be disrespectful and not even know. I was not raised with religion and these may seem like stupid questions but I just dont want to trip up my first meeting.
Do I need to cover my head with anything or wear something specific, I will obviously be dressed conservatively but I guess I dont know if there are rules for how to dress.
5 AnswersReligion & Spirituality1 decade agowhat can help stop PMS. missed period due to surgery but didn't miss PMS?

1 AnswerWomen's Health1 decade agolate period, 4 negative tests- ?
i have had a throat infection and been very sick - i know that can throw off a cycle. but i am worried that either the amoxicillin or the yeast infection that it caused may be giving me a false negative. i have tried 3 different brands, first negative, second and third
(two pack) hard to read, fourth negative. i am about a week late.
and no i am not on birth control, and i know that amoxicillin will mess up birth control
3 AnswersWomen's Health1 decade agoWhat laptop to buy, as an industrial designer?
Hi. I am in school to become an Industrial Designer and I need to find a new laptop because mine is almost non-functional.
I want to find something that can run windows xp and have enough room to put some complex cad rendering programs (solid works, illustrator, alias etc) and still run well. I have a little wacom tablet that i will want to use although i may want to find a tablet pc but am not sure if it is worth it yet (have heard some bad reviews of the capability of these tablets vs cintiq that i have access to at school ). i also want a "full sized" keyboard (no mini computers)
I have heard about the macbook pro running xp well but would like some other options/ opinions. i am not a mac person but that and dell were recommended by my professor
Thanks for any ideas.
5 AnswersLaptops & Notebooks1 decade agoall of my teeth are cracked down the middle (have been since i can remember)?
all of my teeth appear to have cracks running from the gum to the end of them. they arent loose nor have they had any trauma (other than braces)
i am just worried that this is weakening my teeth and wondering what to do about it and if this is common.
i am mainly worried because whenever i would lose a tooth as a kid i would pull it out and then they would shatter (they would pop by themselves). i am worried that this will happen while they are in my mouth. not a joke, actual concern...
Thanks
2 AnswersDental1 decade agooptions for dentists (low cost or free) in milwaukee or general information?
i have a lot of tooth problems due to the fact that my teeth are always too sensitive to their tools (even the vaccum hurts -i know it sounds crazy but the breeze is too cold)
it doesnt matter how much they shoot my gums w/ painkillers i can still feel everything. so i havnt gone for a while, and i know that a have cavities.
i guess i am looking for sedation dentists that are affordable in milwaukee, or ideas on what to do?
3 AnswersDental1 decade agojaw problems?
I have always had loose ankles that dislocate easily and often and other issues with my joints (they all pop by moving them, stiffness and loosenes etc)
my problem is that recently my jaw, where it connects at the joint has been what feels like getting "off track" on one side, it also clicks when i open or close my mouth. i naturally have an over bite, and when this happens i have an under bite that is painful and difficult to get back into place.
i know the answer is "go to a doctor" but i cant afford it right now.
it seems like from looking on the internet, the only thing i am finding is tetanus, but this seems like more of a joint problem than a muscle spasm and i am not having any other symptoms.
just looking for other possabilities or if anyone has taken any good supliments for joint strength/repair (there are a lot and would like advice on some that work)
also i am 23 female so it probably isnt arthritis or something like that (i hope not anyways)
