What is the single best gift that you have ever received? I'm referring to a gift that you can see/touch.

Why do/did you like it so much, what made it so special?

I'll answer my own question. The best gift I have ever received was a hand made quilt. It was made for me by a woman in my church, and given to me when my family was going through a sad time. It was so special. Within a day of owning that quilt I had laughed, prayed, cried, read, studied, and slept with it around me.

Now that we are coming up on the finale, I have two questions for you:

#1-Who do you think will win American Idol?

#2-Who do you want to win American Idol?

I am a 15 y/o female Christian. I have a $20.00 gift card to a Christian book store. I know it depends on my taste in books, but would you please reccomend a Christian book that you think I would like.

An example would be : How To Be A Young Woman After God's Own Heart, Elizabeth George.

I am a big reader and a big Christian, thats what I'm asking this.

While the Bible is the best Christian book you could ever read and the base of all others, I have nearly 30 various copies and translations of the Bible.

I'm posting this here because I frequent this section, so please no comments on that. I am a big theater person, always invloved in plays at our local theater. I auditioned for a role. My first audition wasn't good, everything went wrong. Somehow I got a call back for a second audition, which was really a great one. Problem is, I didn't get the role. I got the role of a town's person. A girl I know got the role I wanted. We like each other fine but are not at all close. Anyway, I'm really jealous and feeling bad that she got the role and I didn't. I have never 'not gotten' the role I wanted. So please, how do I stop feeling jeaulos, play my role proudly, and encourage her? Please help me, I need advice.

What has been your highest best answer percentage. Mine is 6%, sad I know.

A judge was interviewing a woman regarding her pending divorce, "What are the grounds for your divorce?"

She replied, "About four acres and a nice little home in the middle of the property."

"I mean," he continued, "What are your relations like?"

"I have an aunt and uncle living here in town, and so do my husband's parents."

He said, "Do you have a real grudge?"

"No," she replied, "We have a two-car carport and have never really needed one."

"Please," he tried again, "is there any infidelity in your marriage?"

"Yes, both my son and daughter have stereo sets. We don't necessarily like the music, but the answer to your question is 'yes'."

"Ma'am, does your husband ever beat you up?"

"Yes," she responded, "most days he gets up earlier than I do."

Finally, in frustration, the judge asked, "Lady, why do you want a divorce?"

"Oh, I don't want a divorce," she replied. "I never wanted a divorce. It's husband. He says he can't communicate with me.

No offense, I'm a Christian, just thought this was SO funny, which one is your favorite?

The rosebud on the altar this morning is to announce the birth of David Alan Belzer, the sin of Rev. and Mrs. Julius Belzer.

This afternoon there will be a meeting in the South and North ends of the church. Children will be baptized at both ends.

Tuesday at 4:00 p.m. there will be an ice cream social. All ladies giving milk will please come early.

This being Easter Sunday, we will ask Mrs. Lewis to come forward and lay an egg on the altar.

The ladies of the church have cast off clothing of every kind. They can be seen in the church basement Saturday.

Thursday night--Potluck supper. Prayer and medication to follow.

On a flight to Florida, I was preparing my notes for one of the parent education seminars I conduct as an educational

psychologist. The elderly woman sitting next to me explained that she was returning to Miami after having spent two weeks

visiting her six children, 18 grandchildren and ten greatgrandchildren in Boston. Then she inquired what I did for a living.

I told her, fully expecting her to question me for free professional advice.

Instead she sat back and said, "If there's anything you want to know, just ask me."

My question is, did you smile?

I keep getting violations for posting jokes, my question is 'Do you think this is funny?'

A student was heading home for the holidays. When she got to the airline counter, she presented her ticket to New York. As she gave the agent her luggage, she made the remark, "I'd like you to send my green suitcase to Hawaii, and my red suitcase to London."

The confused agent said, "I'm sorry, we can't do that."

"Really??? I am so relieved to hear you say that because that's exactly what you did to my luggage last year!"

My goal is to make one person smile, if I have done that, I have accomplished my mission.

Two blondes were observed in a parking lot trying to unlock the door of their Mercedes with a coat hanger:

Blonde #1 said, "I can't seem to get this door unlocked!"

Blonde #2 replied, "Well, you'd better hurry up and try harder, its starting to rain and the top is down!"

I've decided that instead of saying 'lol thats funny' to all of the jokes on here I am going to start posting them. I want to give people a smile.

3 y/o art project?

I am babysitting and want to know some fun crafts to do with my 3 y/o brother. It needs to be something with household items that I already have (i.e. ribbon, t.p. tubes, buttons, stickers) things like that. Any ideas?
