  • International address for tax return?

    Hi, for years I was living and working in the USA as a resident alien for tax purposes (namely H1b visa), I have left in the fall of 2010, now returned to Europe and i am about to file my taxes. I wonder if I could use my current non-US address on my 2010 tax return. Will it affect my taxes? Will IRS allow me to use a foreign address? A good friend has offered to use his US address and he forwards my mails to me. However, I do not want to misuse his kindness and would prefer to use my current address abroad in case it is possible.
