  • My S7 has begun playing music by itself?

For the past few months my S7 has started to play music by itself. I ve closed all of my apps and restarted my phone and, while that helps for a bit it always starts again. That would be weird enough, but it s playing songs I don t even OWN! I have never heard them, definitely haven t purchased them. I also ran several scans and no problems are ever found. Has anyone else had this happen? If so, how can I get it to stop?? Thanks in advance.

  • What kind of bird is this and can you guess at an age?

My cat grabbed this little bird and I managed to get to her before she was too badly injured. I spoke to an aviary and a State Park Ranger and was told to try releasing her in an hour or two so we did, but sadly she didn't fly and hopped back into her carrier. If she survives the night I'll try again and if that fails, hopefully find a rehab for her. She has no visible injuries and has been chirping for a while. I'm curious about whether I should feed her, and if so what? Thanks in advance, it's greatly appreciated.

If it helps, I live in western Maryland.

  • "Lady Midnight" by Cassandra Clare?

Should you read the other books set in the same world before reading "Lady Midnight" or not? I just checked it out from my library--it looks sooo good but I m not certain if I need to have read the other titles. Thanks in advance!

  • Training adult cat not to scratch?

My boyfriend and I recently took in a stray male cat. (We checked for a microchip and notified my local shelter and confirmed that he didn't have a family searching for him.) Anyway, he's become quite the cuddle bug and is so sweet, there's just one problem: he scratches. They aren't little cuts either, and most of them happen when we're sleeping and he decides to wake one of us up because he wants to play or be petted. Anyway, I'm sure it's because he wasn't around people as a kitten and lacks "manners." Is there any way to "train" him to stop hurting us to get some love? I'm only looking for POSITIVE reinforcement tips. Thanks in advance!

  • Animal shelter intake process?

My mom adopted a dog from our local animal shelter roughly a week ago. She is the head of a homeless shelter and received permission to bring the pup to work with her as long as he saw a vet and had his rabies vaccinations, boosters, etc. So she took him over the weekend and received a call from her vet explaining that he had Lymes disease but luckily it was caught early on and the antibiotics should be the only required treatment (as far as I know).

My question is how did the shelter miss it when to my knowledge dogs are screened upon intake? Or are they not? I thought dogs were required to have bloodwork and such to prevent contagious illnesses and diseases? Please correct me if I'm incorrect! Thanks in advance!

  • Inflatable boats when tagging sharks?

I've been watching nature documentaries lately and have been noticing that the scientists use inflatable boats when tagging sharks. I'm curious if there's a reason for this because it seems that a more "solid" type of boat would be a lot safer. Thanks in advance!

  • Do crows migrate?

I live in Maryland and have a group of four crows in my neighborhood. I was wondering if they migrate and if not, would it be okay to put a feeder out for them (and the other birds)? Thanks in advance!

  • Can dogs take hair, skin and nail vitamins?

I have some hair, skin and nail vitamins with biotin (it's walmart's Spring Valley brand, and I was wondering if it's safe to give to my dog. When the seasons change his skin gets itchy and dry. He gets a shot but this time he's already had ot and is still itchy. The vet prescribed him steroids which we had to refill twice and he is still about the same. I don't know whether the vitamins would help him or not, hence my posting here. Thanks on advance!

  • Cat peeing in bed?

I have a male cat who keeps peeing in the bed while someone is sleeping in it. He's been to the vet (spent an afternoon there to monitor and to collect a urine sample) and has no infection or illness at all, nothing has been changed at all and personality/behavior-wise (except for the obvious) is the same as ever. He was a stray when we found him and ended up taking him in 3 years ago because he got sick one winter with an upper respiratory infection which was treated and he has been neutered. We are at a loss as to what is going on, he's not sick and nothing is different. He's even gone a few times on rugs right in front of us while we watch tv or whatever, but the peeing in bed while we sleep is the main concern. What can I do to get him to stop this behavior? Thanks in advance.

  • Knee pain?

Ever since I was a kid I've had pain in my legs, mainly around my knees. It's only ever one leg at a time, usually my left one. My mom used to call them "growing pains" but at 24 I'm pretty sure I've finished that. I've never broken a leg or had any leg injuries. Sometimes the pain is so severe that I can't even stand upright, other times it is a mild throbbing that keeps me awake. I've thought perhaps arthritis, but that's just a ballpark guess. My mom has bad knees, so perhaps it's a genetic thing? I don't know, I'm mainly wondering what it could be. Thanks in advance.

  • Stabbing pain in ear?

I was diagnosed with bronchitis and an ear infection more than a week ago. I've finished my antibiotics over 5 days ago but my ear is still "weird." I'm calling my doctor tomorrow to make an appointment, but I was wondering if anyone thinks they know what's going on with it. I feel like my ear needs to pop and that there's water in it, along with periodic stabbing pains that vary in severity. I was actually kept awake for an hour a few days ago due to the sensation of a needle being jammed into my ear-drum. Is this just a pretty serious ear infection or could it be something else entirely? I've read about ear tubes and used some over-the-counter ear drops to try to draw the fluid out or get rid of any blockage, which of course was totally unhelpful. Thanks in advance.

  • Photoshop CC 2015 line tool?

I'm attempting to learn photoshop CC 2015 and need to use the line tool for a particular tutorial. However, I only have the option to draw an arrow. If you could help me figure out how to use the straight line, it would be amazing. I've looked in every tab and reset the tools, but to no avail. Thanks in advance!

  • What foods to help cat gain weight?

I took a stray in (temporary until I find him a permanent home) who is very, very thin, I'd venture so far as to say emaciated. I know a lot of people say not to leave the bowl down all day, but that's what I've been doing. He has a healthy apetite, both for food and water, but I wonder if there are any foods that could really help him get a healthy weight? He's so sweet, a little timid but coming out of his she'll more and more each day. Thanks for your answers!

What's the difference between the two? Is laryngitis just the medical term for a sore throat or an actual illness?

    What is my dog's breed?

I know he's a mixed breed, but I'm curious about what breeds. The shelter said he was a Staffordshire terrier, but I'm not sure what that means? He's the best dog I've ever had and I'm just curious. Thanks in advance. Also, if you're going to say anything nasty, please refrain; I've heard it all before and I think I know my own dog better than you do. Again, thanks. Xo.

Do you know what kind of plant this?

It's growing randomly by the wall of my house and I've never seen a plant like it before. It stands about 2-3 feet and I live in Maryland. I think it's quite lovely and would like to know what it's called. Thanks in advance!
