I'm writing a research paper for my college English class over the Edgar Allan Poe story "The Fall of the House of Usher" and I'm writing about the characters (the narrator, Madeline Usher and Roderick Usher) in the story (I'm wanting to write about their personalities, roles they play in the story, etc), but I'm having trouble wording my thesis statement.

I definitely could use some help.

I have to write a research paper for my English class and I chose Edgar Allan Poe's "The Fall of the House of Usher" and I'm trying to figure out what would be a good thing to write over. I'm thinking about the symbolism between the house and the Usher family. I also am having trouble coming up with a good, strong thesis.

Any suggestions would be great!

So, I have 3 different packages I've ordered and all of them are in Oklahoma City (which is where I live) and one of the estimated dates says it should arrive today, while the other two packages say they will arrive on Monday. But why wouldn't those two packages arrive today if they are already in the city I live in? What exactly does a destination scan mean?

Can anybody tell me where I can find this version of the song? I really like the acousitc version. If its on Limewire or on Youtube, please tell me how to find it or give me a link. I couldn't find it on iTunes. It has to be out there somewhere. And I can't use the websites where I have to become a member and give out a credit card number.

Ok, so first of all, please no rude comments about hating Twilight or whatever. I'm not really a fan, but I've seen the movies and I recently saw the teaser trailer for Eclipse and anyways, does anyone know the song that is playing in the trailer?

Ok, so last year I bought the Borders Twilight DVD. I liked the packaging, but there were some special features that it didn't have that like the Target one did. But, it wasn't that big of a deal b/c I was able to see them on YouTube.

This year Borders is doing a New Moon version that compliments the Twilight version. So I just figured I buy that one. But then I was looking at all the different versions. Target has tons of bonus features and Wal-mart's version has bonus footage of Eclipse.

So...I don't know. I'm leaning towards the Borders version just bc its nots like I won't be able to see those bonus features online somewhere.

Any suggestions as to which one to get??

I was thinking about asking for a iPod touch for Christmas and I've mentioned it but my mom she has said that the Internet is expensive. And a girl she works with had a iPod touch but sold it because to have the internet was too much money. But, then I've seen other questions on here that say the Internet is free as long as you have a open WiFi connection. So what's the deal?

Okay I saw the newest New Moon trailer that has been featured before the movie Sorority Row and is supposed to be seen on the VMAs Sunday. I have a couple of older video games that when i had my other laptop that had XP would, obviously, work fine. Now after my other laptop broke, my newer one has Vista. So, basically is there a way I'd be able to play my older computer games on Vista?

Okay so my friend is writing a novel (she loves to write and really hopes it gets published) Anyways, she wants a bunch of different opinions on what she should do with one of the characters. A brief synopsis: Its about this girl who and her parents move to Savannah Georgia and move to a beautiful antebellum mansion and basically she meets this guy who come to find out used to live in the house she lives in now, but many years ago (like during the civil war and his father passed it down to him when he died and the guy was only 18 when his father died). This is where she is stuck. she can't figure out if he should be a wolf or vampire. If he would be a vampire he'd be able to go out in sunlight and not burn or 'sparkle'. But, then she likes the idea of him being a wolf (she doesn't want it to be like Twilight, which is her main concern) because there isn't too many love stories with a werewolf and human, like with the Twilight series and Sookie Stackhouse novels (aka True Blood tv series) that have a vampire and human in love. She really wants opinions and would any of you all read something like this?

So I'm getting a new phone since the one i currently have is having problems (Razr), but I can't seem to decide between the Sanyo or Samsung. I definitely want to get something with better battery life since my Razr has a terrible battery life. The main things I want to be able to do are: text, surf the web, and be able to check my e-mail on msn. I've heard good and bad things from both phones. The only thing about the Samsung I'm worried about is the screen shattering. Either by me dropping it (which I'm not one to drop my phones a lot, but it has happened) or by it being in my purse when I go to school. So which is better?

On the Facebook chat I have my friends and family in lists. And when you click on the thing to see who is online, lets just say, one of my cousins is online and it'll say 'family' and then say, my best friend is online it'll say 'my friends'. You can click the green button to go offline, lets just say you don't want your cousin talking to you because they tend to always chat with you, you can go offline to where they won't know but you're still online to everyone else. Well, my problem is on my friends and family list I'm offline, but when I click the button to go online it doesn't change. This hasn't happened before, but is there anything I can do to fix it?

Okay so one of my friends has been talking to his guy and she asked me what he meant when he said "You are truly awesome (her name)!" and she told me of another time he said "I can tell your not like most girls and thats a good thing." I didn't really know what to say to her question. I wasn't 100% sure what he meant by those things he said. A little help here!?!?

Okay, so let me just start from the beginning... This guy who is two years older than me (I'm in high school;he graduated) started talking to me a couple of months ago (back when school was still going on) and I noticed him looking at me a couple times during class, but I didn't really pay much attention to him. Anyways, he kept asking me questions and we got to talking (in class, on the computer & then he gave me his # and we would text each other). We found we had a lot of things in common. All my friends and I even started to think he liked me and eventually I started to kinda like him too. And even after school ended we still talked, but then I found out he started going out with someone else. (and even though I'm younger than him the girl he is going out with is two years younger than him too). So whats the deal??
